The protagonist and his allies unleashed their full power against Viserys, but their combined attacks were absorbed by her dark defenses. As Viserys prepared to retaliate, Evelyn and Sue launched a surprise assault, freezing time around their opponent. However, Viserys began to break free from the temporal stasis.

A violent pulse of darkness erupted from her body, tearing Sue’s temporal domain apart in an instant. The golden light surrounding the battlefield burst into fragments, and the ice spear that had been inches from Viserys’s heart disintegrated before it could reach her.

Sue’s eyes widened.

Viserys turned toward her.

"You presume far too much."

Her hand moved.

Sue barely managed to raise her arms before an invisible force struck her chest. Her body was launched backward at terrifying speed, tearing through the air before crashing into the ground several kilometers away. The impact created a deep crater, and for several seconds she remained motionless at its center.

Viserys didn’t even watch her fall.

Her attention had already shifted toward Evelyn.

The ice Saint had reacted immediately, abandoning the broken spear and forming dozens of enormous ice blades around herself. They shot toward Viserys from every direction, converging upon her body like a crystalline storm.

Viserys simply stepped forward.

The first blade shattered against her shoulder.

The second broke against her palm.

She twisted between the remaining attacks with almost insulting ease, her black gown flowing around her as she crossed the distance between them. Evelyn’s eyes widened when Viserys suddenly appeared directly in front of her.

There was no time to retreat.

Viserys drove her knee into Evelyn’s stomach.

The impact was brutal.

Evelyn’s body folded around the strike as the force drove the air from her lungs. Before she could recover, Viserys seized her by the back of the head and shot through the sky like a meteor toward the ground.

Evelyn’s face struck the ground with tremendous force.

A crater formed instantly as the earth shattered beneath the collision, while chunks of stone and ice were thrown hundreds of meters into the air.

Viserys released her and calmly stepped away.

Evelyn remained embedded in the crater, blood flowing from her brow as she struggled to push herself upright.

Viserys looked down at her with the same detached expression she had worn from the beginning.

"Your control over ice is impressive."

Her voice remained almost conversational.

"But power without sufficient understanding is merely decoration."

Evelyn’s fingers tightened against the fractured ground.

She slowly raised her head.

Viserys’s gaze shifted toward Sue’s distant crater.

"Neither of you possesses the authority to restrain me."

She then looked across the battlefield toward the rest of us.

"And yet..."

A faint, almost amused smile appeared on her lips.

"I am feeling excited."

I felt my grip tighten.

She had dismantled Sue’s time manipulation and overwhelmed Evelyn in the span of a few breaths.

Neither of them had been weak. Viserys was simply operating on an entirely different level.

Kaelra was the first to move.

She had watched Evelyn and Sue get overwhelmed in the span of a few breaths, and whatever restraint she had been maintaining disappeared.

Her enormous silver dragon body rose from the shattered ground as an immense pressure erupted around her. The air began to distort from the sudden increase in temperature, and the barren earth beneath her cracked open as three enormous volcanoes erupted into existence around the battlefield.

"Domain, Caldera of the Ancient Dragon."

The world changed.

Lava surged through newly formed valleys while rivers of molten rock spread across the ground. The sky darkened beneath enormous clouds of volcanic ash, and the temperature rose so rapidly that even the surviving Saints had to reinforce their bodies with Soul Force.

Then Kaelra’s daughters joined her.

The two young Dragons released their own Domains without hesitation, and rather than competing with their mother’s authority, the three Domains began overlapping. Their powers intertwined, causing the volcanic landscape to expand and merge until the entire battlefield resembled an ancient world born from the fury of three primordial Dragons.

Kaelra’s daughters transformed completely into their dragon forms and flew into the center of the overlapping Domains. Their bodies became streams of silver Soul Force that flowed toward Kaelra’s Domain, and Kaelra herself followed, her enormous dragon body dissolving into the same torrent of energy.

The three streams converged.

For a moment, the volcanic world became completely silent.

Then something enormous began emerging from the Domain.

A colossal dragon slowly rose from the volcanic landscape, its body forged from silver scales, molten rock and condensed Soul Force. Its wings stretched across the heavens, while its four enormous horns curved backward from its head like the crown of an ancient beast.

Its body continued expanding until it reached almost four times the size of Kaelra’s original dragon form, its massive silhouette covering a significant portion of the battlefield.

The three Dragons had not merely combined their attacks.

They had merged their Domains and their very manifestations into something entirely new.

The enormous creature opened its eyes.

Three pairs of golden pupils focused simultaneously upon Viserys.

"Now..."

Kaelra’s voice emerged from the colossal dragon with a deep resonance that shook the surrounding space.

"...let’s see how long that arrogance lasts."

Before Viserys could respond, another Domain unfolded.

Sue Astral rose from the crater where she had been thrown, blood still visible across her face but her clock-like eyes rotating with terrifying speed. She lifted both hands toward the sky, and an enormous golden clock materialized behind her.

"Domain, Eternal Chronology."

The gigantic clock began turning.

Golden radiance spread outward from its surface, flowing across the battlefield in countless temporal streams before rushing directly toward Viserys. The space around the Soul Current distorted as countless layers of time began overlapping, attempting to slow, accelerate and bind her existence simultaneously.

Gerald followed.

The old man stepped forward and calmly adjusted his glasses.

"Domain, Endless World."

The space surrounding him immediately fractured.

Dozens of enormous multicolored rifts appeared around his body, each one opening into what seemed to be an entirely different world. Some contained blazing stars, others endless oceans, while several revealed strange landscapes filled with unfamiliar laws. The rifts continued multiplying until Gerald stood at the center of a vast network of dimensional gateways, each one carrying a different kind of power.

He raised one hand, and the rifts began rotating around him.

The other Saints finally followed.

Evelyn slowly climbed out of the crater where Viserys had driven her into the ground. Blood ran down the side of her face, but the determination in her eyes had only intensified.

"Domain, Frozen World."

An icy wind immediately swept across the battlefield.

The ground froze.

Mountains of ice erupted from the earth while enormous glaciers spread across the landscape. Several massive ice tornadoes formed in the distance, rotating violently as they dragged countless shards of condensed Soul Force through their cores. Snow began falling beneath a sky that had transformed into an endless white storm.

The Elven King raised his hand next.

"Domain, Eternal Wilds."

The barren battlefield disappeared beneath an enormous forest.

Ancient trees rose thousands of meters into the sky, their trunks wider than mountains and their branches stretching across the heavens. Strange creatures moved between the trees, some resembling enormous beasts while others possessed forms that resembled Elves. Every creature within the forest stopped whatever it was doing and slowly turned toward Viserys.

Every eye focused upon her.

The remaining Saints followed, each releasing their own Domains until the battlefield became a convergence of countless authorities. Fire, ice, space, time, nature and various other laws intertwined as the strongest survivors of the expedition finally revealed the full extent of their power.

I remained where I was.

I hadn’t released my Domain.

There was no need yet.
