Gu Weiwei discussed marriage plans with Mrs. Fu, who assured her of Fu Shengying's approval. Qin Man arrived from the Qin Family to apologize for the kidnapping incident and request the antidote for the poisoned Qin Lv, which Gu Weiwei promised to deliver the next day. Mrs. Fu revealed the Fu Family's decision to withdraw all projects and sever ties with the Qin Family due to Qin Feng's involvement.

Fu Hanzheng returned home right before dinner.

Fu Shiyi and Fu Shiqin arrived alongside him.

As soon as they stepped inside, they scooped up Youyou and Tiantian, pleading with the little ones to chase away their exhaustion.

Meanwhile, Fu Hanzheng draped his arm around Gu Weiwei’s shoulders while they settled onto the sofa, observing the playful chaos of the four.

“Would you prefer to linger here a couple more days, or head home tonight?”

“We’ll head home tonight. Qin Man dropped by this afternoon, so I must grab the antidote and send it over to the Qin Family,” Gu Weiwei explained.

She had assumed that once she departed for A Land, they would have Yuan Meng deliver the antidote to the Qin Family.

Plus, in her rush, she had overlooked Qin Lv’s poisoning.

Fortunately, the dosage wasn’t severe enough to be deadly, though the agony proved quite challenging to endure.

Fu Hanzheng nodded. “Alright, we’ll leave after dinner.”

With her well-rested now, it made sense to return to their own space. Staying amid the entire family was growing overly hectic.

Mrs. Fu overheard their plan to depart post-dinner and immediately protested.

“Didn’t you mention staying a few days? Why rush back so soon?”

“I have to get that antidote to the Qin Family, and I’ve rested plenty, so home it is,” Gu Weiwei replied with a smile.

“But you have a hospital check-up tomorrow—why leave now?” Mrs. Fu urged.

Fu Shiqin shot a narrowed glance at his mother and grumbled.

“Mom, they feel crowded here with everyone around, so they can’t whisper sweet nothings…”

He hadn’t even finished when Gu Weiwei hurled a pillow his way.

Mrs. Fu let out a chuckle and pondered briefly before saying, “Fine, if you insist on going home, go by yourself today. Leave the kids here and retrieve them tomorrow after your check-up.”

“Sure.” Fu Hanzheng consented promptly.

Fu Shiyi and Fu Shiqin traded disgusted glances.

To rekindle romance with his wife, he’d abandon his own son and daughter without a second thought.

Gu Weiwei figured that since she needed to retrieve the antidote for the Qin Family and visit He Chi’s hospital for her exam the next morning, leaving the children here made sense—she could pick them up later.

Besides, with Fu Hanzheng joining her at the hospital tomorrow, someone had to mind the babies at home.

Thus, she agreed to let them remain and collect them the following day once tasks were done.

After enjoying dinner, they soothed the two children to sleep before driving back to Pearl River.

Gu Weiwei headed upstairs first to Yuan Meng’s room for the antidote, then phoned Lei Ning to arrange its delivery to the Qin Family.

The doorbell chimed shortly after her call.

Assuming it was Lei Ning’s team, she hurried to answer it.

Upon opening the door, she discovered not just Lei Ning’s men, but Yuan Meng too.

She handed the antidote to Lei Ning’s subordinates and stared at Yuan Meng in surprise.

“What brings you here?”

“I’ve come to pack up and return to Italy,” Yuan Meng replied.

With the Gu Family issues resolved, she had no further business in Hua Land.

Yuan Shuo clearly intended a lengthy stay in Italy, and with their son there, she refused to live apart.

“How are things progressing in A Land?” Gu Weiwei inquired.

Back home, she had slept the day away and devoted the next to her children, barely checking on events there.

“You’re really asking about the Gu Family situation and whether it turned out smoothly, aren’t you?” Yuan Meng teased with a grin.
