My Celestial Ascension Chapter 995: Reinforcement

"Surrender? Are you looking down on me just because I’m alone?" The Goddess’s eyes turned cold, and the atmosphere grew heavy with her violent aura.

"I alone am enough to crush you all!"

Golden lightning began to radiate from her body, her golden eyes shining brightly as killing intent emanated from them.

Zap! Zap!

Lightning began crackling dangerously across the sky with deafening intensity, making the ground shake violently.

Bang! Bang! Thunder began raining down on Anna Grace and the others as a massive magic circle appeared in the sky, covering the entire city beneath it.

Wherever the lightning struck, deep craters appeared in the ground, destroying everything in its path.

"Valeria, destroy that magic circle," Anna Grace ordered her.

"Leave it to me," Valeria replied with a grin before immediately launching a powerful attack at the magic circle.

Slash! A massive arc of incomplete Sword Aura sliced through the Magic Circle, cutting through it as effortlessly as slicing tofu.

The Magic Circle immediately began to crumble, unable to withstand the attack, shocking the Goddess and the angels to their core.

"I-Impossible... This is not possible..." The Goddess of Light and Justice stumbled backward, a look of disbelief on her face.

"If that was all you could do, then you’re not even a threat to us," Anna Grace said after the lightning stopped raining down on them.

Though the lightning was extremely powerful and could seriously wound them, they could easily dodge the strikes.

However, it was still annoying to constantly dodge them without knowing where the lightning would strike next.

The angels watched the scene with utter disbelief. They never thought that even the ancient gods would be helpless against a few mortals.

"T-This is unbelievable... How could the ancient goddess lose to a mere human?"

"That woman... She easily destroyed the ancient magic circle as if it were nothing."

The angels swallowed nervously as they watched the scene with horrified expressions, feeling chills run down their spines.

"It was a good thing that we surrendered... Otherwise, our entire race would have been wiped out from this world."

"Agreed." An angel nodded, swallowing nervously.

Meanwhile, the God King was fighting Yuan with everything he had, launching powerful attacks that could easily obliterate an entire city.

However, they were useless against Yuan, as he could effortlessly block even the deadliest blows without even looking. Furthermore, Yuan’s speed was something even the God King couldn’t comprehend.

’Damn it! He’s literally toying with me at this point!! He isn’t even serious at all!!’ The God King cried inwardly, unable to believe what was happening.

’My mana is draining like crazy! Where the hell are the other ancient gods? Why is it taking so long for them to arrive?!’ he cursed inwardly in frustration.

If his mana were to run out, he would be as good as dead. Without mana, he couldn’t even launch a simple attack, much less fight this monster on equal ground.

He gritted his teeth in frustration and continued attacking Yuan. This time, however, he didn’t directly confront him and instead focused on defense.

Since all his attempts to land a hit on Yuan had ended in failure, he couldn’t fight him directly while his mana was running low.

’I have to hold on for a few more moments... As the most powerful god, I cannot let the others see my weakness.’

The two of them continued exchanging blows, creating chaos throughout the battlefield.

Despite being beaten by Yuan countless times, the God King refused to back down.

"What a stubborn fool... Doesn’t know when to give up, does he? Or is it your so-called pride that won’t let you surrender?" Yuan spoke, his eyes filled with blatant mockery.

"Hmm?" Yuan suddenly frowned, but before he could figure out what was happening, the ground beneath his feet launched him into the air.

It sent him flying into the sky with terrifying force, and almost instantly, hundreds of massive, sharp earth projectiles were shot toward Yuan.

And it didn’t stop there, as massive fireballs were also launched at him, attacking him from all directions at once.

’Damnit! I should have kept my Divine Sense open the entire time!’ Yuan cursed inwardly as hundreds of attacks from multiple gods bombarded him simultaneously.

Yuan firmly gripped his sword and began destroying the incoming attacks with ease. He wasn’t the least bit concerned about the situation.

Meanwhile, the ancient gods that had suddenly appeared with the reinforcements continued their relentless assault on Yuan while ordering the other gods to take care of the God King and the Goddess of Light and Justice.

"Your Highness, are you alright?" one of the gods asked as he supported the God King and quickly fed him a recovery potion.

"I’m mostly fine, but my Mana is completely depleted from keeping that monster busy," the God King replied, his voice low with exhaustion.

"But what took you so long to get here? Why didn’t you arrive sooner?"

"Your Highness, all the major gods were busy, and they weren’t aware of the invasion at the time," one of the minor gods revealed.

"Furthermore, they had to make certain preparations before arriving."

"Certain preparations, huh? Anyway, give me a few more potions. My ribs are broken," the God King said.

Boom! Boom! Boom! The sky continued to light up with massive explosions, sending powerful shockwaves throughout the floating island.

’This is annoying as hell!’ Yuan screamed inwardly as he dodged every attack that came at him, gritting his teeth in frustration.

He flew high into the sky, moving out of the gods’ range before suddenly vanishing from their sight, shocking all the gods who had been attacking him.

"Huh? Our attacks didn’t even leave a single scratch on him?! How is this even possible?!"

"And how did that bastard suddenly disappear? Why can’t I see him?!"

The gods were in disbelief, and panic immediately spread among them after their target disappeared right under their noses.

"Search every corner of the High Heaven! Find that bastard and drag him back to us!!" the God King roared at the top of his lungs despite his exhaustion.

Meanwhile, the rest of the gods surrounded Anna Grace and the others from all directions as they moved to rescue the Goddess of Light and Justice.

"Surrender peacefully! We have surrounded the entire place. There is no escape!" one of the gods shouted at them with an arrogant smile.

Then, one of the gods immediately rushed to the Goddess of Light and Justice’s side.

"Respected Goddess, are you alright?" the god asked with a concerned look on his face as he helped her to safety.

"Here, drink a healing potion, just in case."

The Goddess of Light and Justice quickly grabbed the potion and emptied it instantly.

"Give me some Mana recovery potions as well. I barely have any Mana left."

"Here, use as many as you want." The god immediately offered several Mana recovery potions to the Goddess.

"Don’t worry about me," the Goddess said with a serious look on her face before continuing, "Worry about yourselves... Those people are extremely dangerous. You can’t look down on them at all."

"Until I recover my depleted Mana, hold them back with everything you’ve got," she ordered with a dangerous look on her face.

"Hold us back? Do you really think you have what it takes to hold us back?" Anna Grace’s laughter suddenly resounded throughout the place, sending a chill down everyone’s spines.

"Everyone! Be careful!!" the Goddess shouted in panic as she turned around, realizing that the situation was no longer under their control.

However, she was too late to warn the gods, as Valeria and Vrasha moved and attacked the gods in unison.

They appeared beside the gods so quickly that they didn’t have time to react or defend themselves before two massive swords sliced their bodies in half.

Slash! Blood splattered across the ground as Valeria and Vrasha stood before the Goddess in the blink of an eye, blood dripping from their swords.

Their cold gazes met the Goddess’s eyes, terrifying her to the core as she stumbled backward in disbelief.

The other gods also couldn’t believe their eyes. They were shocked beyond belief.

Right after Valeria and Vrasha made their moves, Julie and Ava also attacked before the gods could recover from their shock.

Slash! Slash!

Several more gods fell in the blink of an eye, painting the ground red as corpses began piling up.

Isolde manipulated the blood surrounding her and formed a massive scythe with an incredibly long blade.

"Use your Holy Light! She’s a vampire!!" one of the gods shouted as soon as Isolde created the scythe from the blood of the fallen.

The gods immediately began using their Holy Light magic, aiming at Isolde, knowing that Holy Light was akin to the most potent poison for vampires.

Unfortunately for them, their Holy Light magic had no effect on Isolde, shocking all the gods who witnessed the scene.

"I-It’s useless against her?? How is this even possible?!"

"How could Holy Light be ineffective against a vampire?!"

The gods were in disbelief. They began to question reality itself as they watched Isolde remain completely unharmed under their Holy Light magic. It didn’t even leave a burn on her skin.

Just as they were about to cast their spells again, Isolde swung her massive scythe at them, killing them all instantly with a single sweep.

"That’s more like it... So weak, and yet they call themselves gods. Ridiculous!" Isolde sneered coldly as she watched the bodies fall to the ground.

Meanwhile, Yuan also wreaked havoc among the gods, suddenly appearing right in their midst. He slaughtered many gods with a single attack, terrifying everyone with his sudden appearance.

"You fools are too weak to injure me... Though it was a good attempt, I can admit that. You even managed to surprise me, but that was all there was to it." Yuan looked at the gods with a smile, casually resting his sword against his shoulder.
