Dreulis explains how fallen angels and demigods become contracted beings, often through competition. He then recounts his tragic past: his wife's infidelity, her poisoning him, and his subsequent pact with a demon named Azul-Ermer for revenge. After returning as a Lich, he brutally tortured his wife and her lover to death before the demon appeared to collect his debt.

"What was the Demon asking for in return ?" Leon asked with a serious expression.

"He was amused by the way I killed my wife and her lover and he wanted to see more. He wanted to see how brutal I can get and that’s why he asked for ten human lives, but each of these humans will be choosen by that demon and I will have to kill them in the same or even brutal manner." Dreulis replied.

"Who were the ten humans ?" Leon asked with a confused expression.

"First one was my assistant, because she showed affection towards me and looked upto me. I had to torture her to death while she asked for her mistake over and over.

She kept begging me to let her go buy I didn’t have any other choice, my contract forbid me to even take my own life. After her, anyone who ever showed affection towards me or got attached to me, ended up in the same condition.

The demon made a set of rules that forbade me from getting out of his filthy game.

If someone talks to me, I had to act normal. I can’t do intentional things that would make the target feel uneasy around me.

After taking ten lives, the contract was finally completed but the pain remained within me for years and years.

I spent around three hundred years inside a cave, just to figure out why I was feeling emotions even as an undead and that’s when I found out that it’s neither your brain, nor your heart that feels the pain... It’s the soul that gets hurt and that was the only thing that I had left in my body.

Believe me it was the shittiest feeling you can ever get in this whole world. Because I remember the face of every person I killed and every single one of their cries. That’s one of the reason why I don’t want to sign the contract with a demon this time and if I did, I will be very careful about his demands." Dreulis replied in a serious tone as he cutted off the names of demons as well and at last only six names remained, two from each category.

"Looks like you have selected the most eligible candidates from every category." Leon spoke with a smile as he looked at the name.

"These are the only ones who would want to establish a contract with me considering their dire situations.

These fallen angels are on the verge of getting wiped out from existence due to their old age.

The Demi-Gods, one of them is too weak and he is hiding from other Demi-Gods because they want to kill him. Other one is just too greedy and he will accept my contract without thinking twice but the things he will ask in return will be heavy.

The Demons, now these demons are the real deal. One of them is Jernet-Yula, the demon servant working directly under one of the seven deadly sin, Sloth." Dreulis explained.

"So ?" Leon asked with a confused expression.

"The demons working under the seven deadly sins never ask for a small price but the contracts you sign with them are damn powerful.

But the other one is even more scary than this one." Dreulis spoke.

"Why is that ? Is he also working under a deadly sin ?" Leon asked with a curious expression.

"He is from the purgatory. The darkest corner of hell. Demons from purgatory are the most evil and inhumane. Only the most damned souls are sent to purgatory and when they consume other equally evil souls, that’s when they become demons.

Signing contract with these demons is banned even for us Lichs, but I still have to consider him as an option, I don’t have many choices." Dreulis replied as he looked at Leon.

"So, how do you sign this contract ?" Leon asked with a curious expression.

"I will now start summoning them into this room one by one, but don’t worry master, they can’t walk out of the summoning circle or cast any magic spells until I allow them to." Dreulis explained.

"Well, them let’s start this... I want to see how good can you negotiate with fallen angels, Demi-Gods and Demons for your contract. You don’t have a problem with me watching right ?" Leon asked with a neutral expression.

"No, No master. Just try not to speak until our contract is sealed or they get pretty upset if someone from a third party speaks in between the contract." Dreulis instructed.

"I understand. Elis, chair." Leon ordered as he let go of his body and his body started to fall back, but suddenly a smooth chair made out of stone immediately rose from the ground and caught him mid-fall.

*Sit*

"Let me just complete the summoning rituals." Dreulis spoke as he started drawing a magic circle on the ground using his wand.

In just a few seconds he completed the magic circle and left the wand in between the circle.

"Tresero Summoro albero Tremaro, Fallen Angel Tyreine." Dreulis enchanted as he supplied mana to the magic circle and it glowed brightly white for a second before a white figure appeared in the middle of the circle right next to his wand.

The white figure slowly took a human’s form, a very old human with long white hairs coming down to it’s lower hips, her face wasn’t clearly visible as it was covered by the hairs and she holded a cane in her right hand.

’Hmm ? Is this a fallen angel ? Looks like some really old lady.’ Leon thought with a neutral expression as he looked at her.

"Hmm ? Are you the one who summoned me ?" The old lady asked as she raised her cane towards Leon.

"Oh gracious angel, I am the one who summoned you." Dreulis spoke up before Leon could’ve opened his mouth.

"Hmm ? A Lich ? Why would a Lich summon me ?" The angel asked in a confused tone.

"Would you like to form a contract with me ?" Dreulis replied immediately.
