The next day, the Monroe family decided to hold a small banquet to celebrate the return of their daughters and son-in-law.

They invited many influential people from the city, along with a few close relatives.

Since Rose and the others had missed James and Marianne’s wedding, this banquet was the perfect opportunity for the family to enjoy their reunion.

As the sun began to set, guests started gathering at the Monroe family’s mansion one by one.

"Welcome, Lord Chris. And thank you for coming to this small celebration." Issac reached out his hand with a smile.

"Since Lord Issac personally sent me an invitation, how could I refuse? Haha!" Lord Chris shook his head and laughed before following Issac inside the mansion.

Once seated, Lord Chris looked at Issac and asked, "I heard that your daughters and son-in-law have returned from a long adventure."

"Indeed. You heard correctly." Issac nodded with a smile. "And today’s celebration is mainly because of them. Also, since they missed my son’s wedding, this banquet is merely a small compensation."

"I see... But where are they? Aren’t you going to introduce your son-in-law to me? I’ve heard a lot about him." Lord Chris asked.

"Don’t worry. They’ll be here shortly." Issac replied.

He then got up and said, "Excuse me for a moment, Lord Chris. I’ll go and welcome the other guests."

With that, he went to the door, welcomed the other guests, and brought them all to the banquet hall.

"Lord Issac, you look very happy today. Is it because of your daughters and son-in-law?" A woman in her late forties asked with a small smile on her face.

"Indeed, Lady Monica. After all, they have been away for so long and only returned recently. Of course I’d be happy." Issac replied with a smile.

"Is that so... But where are they? Why can’t I see them?" Lady Monica asked, scanning the entire hall with a sharp look.

"They’ll be here shortly. I’ll definitely introduce them to you." Issac replied.

As the guests began chatting with one another, the hall immediately became lively as laughter and whispers echoed throughout the room.

A couple of moments later, Layla arrived at the hall with a charming smile on her face as she accompanied her daughters.

The appearance of Rose, Julie, and the others immediately drew everyone’s gaze. Every guest was mesmerized by their beauty, leaving everyone staring at them with dazed expressions.

Anna Grace and the others followed quietly behind Rose, their expressions unreadable. An overwhelming aura surrounded them, making them seem completely unapproachable.

Yuan was the last to appear, and his appearance immediately sparked jealousy among the youngsters present in the hall.

However, Yuan remained calm as he slowly walked toward the guests.

Issac immediately approached Rose, Julie, and Ava with a smile on his face before turning toward the guests.

"These are my daughters—Rose, Julie, and Ava." He introduced them to the guests with a proud grin on his face.

Then he pointed at Yuan and said, "And this is my one and only son-in-law, Yuan. Many of you must have already heard about him."

"It’s a pleasure to meet you all." Yuan nodded with a smile.

Although he didn’t like meeting people or being in crowded places, he didn’t want to make the entire event awkward.

"I’ve heard a lot about you, Yuan. And I finally get to meet the famous Yuan, the one who shook the entire kingdom with his impossible feats." Lord Chris walked toward Yuan with a smile on his face.

"By the way, I’m Chris, the Administrator of the Hunter Association of Pinebrook City." He offered his hand with a proud smile on his face.

"It’s a pleasure." Yuan nodded with a smile and shook his hand.

Then a woman approached him and introduced herself, smiling charmingly at him.

"I’m Monica, from the Merchant Association. It’s a pleasure." She extended her hand.

"The pleasure is mine, Lady Monica." Yuan smiled at her and shook her hand.

’How strange... I cannot detect any mana from him, and yet, he is giving me the feeling that he could kill me before I could even blink.’ Monica thought, feeling shocked.

Yuan returned to Anna Grace’s side and had a few drinks before shoving delicious food into his mouth, completely ignoring the guests.

Xi Meili had already been tasting the food ever since she arrived, shocking many guests with her huge appetite.

However, no one dared to utter a single word about her, as they felt a sense of dread whenever they looked at her.

A couple of hours later, the guests began to leave one by one, and the hall gradually turned silent.

Yuan and the others returned to their rooms and changed into comfortable clothes.

"Finally, I can breathe properly." Anna Grace sighed softly as she collapsed onto the bed. "I felt like dying from smiling at all those random people."

"Me too. Unfortunately, we couldn’t just ignore them because we have to save Layla and Issac’s face." Yuan added with a smile as he sat close to her.

"Well, let’s forget about everything else and get some sleep, shall we?" He said, hugging her gently from behind and kissing her on the cheek.

"Mmm... Let’s sleep." Anna Grace nodded and softly closed her eyes.

Quickly, five days passed since Yuan and the others arrived in Pinebrook City. Currently, Yuan and the others were having lunch with the Monroe family.

After lunch, Layla looked at Yuan and asked, "By the way, Yuan. I’ve been thinking about it recently. Are you guys going to settle down here?"

"Not at all. We’re planning to leave tomorrow." Yuan replied casually, shocking the entire Monroe family with his answer.

"What?! You’re leaving already?! You’ve just arrived! Can’t you stay for a few more days?" Issac immediately stood up from the sofa, a shocked expression on his face.

Even James was shocked by Yuan’s sudden announcement about his departure. He couldn’t help but look at his mother, wondering what she was going to say.

’Well, it’ll be better for me if he leaves with those demons. Otherwise, I fear that his pretty face will haunt my wife in her dreams!’ He thought, a strange sense of happiness filling his heart.

He then looked at his wife and sighed softly.

He had witnessed his wife blushing whenever she saw Yuan, and he didn’t like it at all. He couldn’t help but feel concerned for his wife.

After all, Yuan had managed to charm so many beautiful women, and compared to them, his wife was nothing.

Even though he knew that Yuan had no interest in his wife, he still felt incredibly angry whenever he saw his wife blushing at Yuan.

"That’s right, Yuan. You should stay for a few more days here. After all, you have been away for so long." Layla said, trying to change his mind.

Yuan took a deep breath and sighed, "Unfortunately, we can’t stay. We have to go somewhere, and it’s very important for me."

"I see..." Layla paused for a moment and asked, "So, how long will it take this time? And where exactly are you planning to go? You’ve already traveled all the continents. Is there any place left for you to wander?"

"Unfortunately, I can’t say when we will come back this time. It could probably take us years since we’re not going to another continent." Yuan replied after thinking for a moment.

And continued, "This time, we’re visiting a completely different world from this one—Earth. The world we’re going to visit is called Earth."

"Everything is ready at the floating island, the gateway to that world. There is a powerful device that will open the gate to the other world called Earth. And because of that, we don’t know when we’ll be returning." He explained.

Since they were his in-laws, he didn’t want to disappear from this world with their daughters without telling them where they were going.

Which was why he decided to tell them his destination without hiding anything.

"What?!" Everyone from the Monroe family exclaimed in disbelief and stared at him with wide-open eyes.

"Are you for real? Another world? Does it even exist?" Issac looked at Yuan with a serious expression on his face, unable to believe what he had just heard.

"You mortals are very stupid."

Suddenly, Long Yuyan’s voice resounded, drawing everyone’s attention toward her.

"There are countless planets like this one in the galaxy, and there are countless galaxies in the universe. Thinking that only this planet holds life is very stupid." She said, a small smile on her face.

And she continued, "This is not the only world that has life. Furthermore, this world was once a part of an even bigger world. But something happened and changed everything. I won’t go into details about it."

The Monroe family fell silent after hearing this. They were so shocked that they didn’t know what to say at this point.

It was understandable, considering there was no space exploration in this world, and everyone believed that the world was flat.

"But don’t worry. The path isn’t a one-way ticket. We can return to this world whenever we want, as long as the Teleportation Device is working on both sides." Yuan said a moment later.

However, he knew that his words of comfort wouldn’t be effective, considering the gravity of the situation. They weren’t traveling from one continent to another but going to a completely different world.

"Well, since you’ve made up your mind, I certainly can’t stop you from going. However, you have to promise us that you’ll return within five years." Layla spoke after remaining silent for over ten minutes.

"We can’t promise you that. Since we can’t say for certain that time flows the same way as it does here. There may be a huge difference in time." Yuan replied with a bittersweet smile.
