Yuan discovered a mansion filled with relics of a Zither Goddess, including a painting and a zither. He felt an inexplicable connection to the zither, even knowing its name and playing it masterfully despite it being his first time. He also learned that Selvariel had spared Elyssara, a decision Yuan accepted. After securing the teleportation device with a formation, Yuan and his companions returned to the Imperial Palace to report their success to a shocked Emperor.

The fall of the gods shocked the Imperial Family to the very core. They all looked at Yuan in disbelief, almost as though they had stopped breathing.

The High Heaven didn’t just have a few gods; they had hundreds of gods, not to mention the massive army of angels.

And yet, the gods had fallen. The tables had turned. This was anything but normal. Once this news reached the people, it would cause a huge uproar among them.

Especially among those who followed the gods and prayed to them for their safety. The news of their sudden demise would shatter their beliefs and traditions.

Emperor Philip stared at Yuan for a long moment, his expression unreadable.

"Do you know what would happen once this news gets leaked?" He asked, his voice steady as he looked at Yuan with a serious expression.

"It would shatter the illusion they are living in, the belief that the Gods are omnipotent and omniscient," Yuan said, his voice calm, a soft smile on his face.

"They would realize that they believed in something that isn’t real. Which would cause some distress among the believers, but soon it would disappear like any other event."

"However, I wouldn’t recommend announcing to the citizens that the gods have fallen. After all, we don’t know what kind of effect it would create." Yuan finished, putting forward his views on the matter.

Emperor Philip thought for a moment and said, "So, you’re saying that we hide this matter from the public and keep them in the dark?"

"Exactly! After all, who can go to that floating island? They have no means of going there to verify whether the gods still exist or not." Yuan replied with a smile.

Emperor Philip nodded and said, "Indeed. Even the most powerful mage couldn’t travel to the High Heaven."

After concluding the matter regarding the High Heaven, Emperor Philip looked at Yuan and smiled.

"I know you’re exceptional... in fact, the most exceptional person in the entire world. But to think you’d completely eradicate the gods... this is something that is still hard for me to believe." He said, smiling softly.

"It wasn’t hard to subdue them. They were so full of themselves that it made it easier for us to take them down." Yuan replied with a calm, confident smile.

"It’s ’easy’ only for you... For us, it’s still impossible to face even a single god, not to mention all of them." Emperor Philip responded with a dry chuckle.

"You’re exaggerating it... haha." Yuan chuckled awkwardly.

He then stood up and said, "I’ll go meet the others. I plan to visit Rose’s house tomorrow."

"Alright. I won’t hold you any longer," Emperor Philip said with a smile.

Once Yuan left, Emperor Philip leaned back on the sofa and let out a deep sigh.

’It’s still hard to believe that he eliminated all the mighty gods of the High Heaven... It’s a good thing that my elder sister is one of his wives.’ He thought, a small smile forming on his lips.

Shortly, Empress Selena walked into the room with a delicate smile on her face. She sat next to her husband and gave him a smile.

"I’ve heard from Valeria what happened at the High Heaven... Needless to say, I was shocked." She said as her expression turned serious.

"It’s a tricky situation... I have no idea how I should handle this." Emperor Philip sighed softly.

"Releasing this news to the public will definitely create a massive wave across the continent... and the ripples could even backfire on us."

"And we also can’t hide the demise of the gods from the public forever. One way or another, they will eventually learn the news."

"It’s still better than telling them. Who knows what kind of reaction the public will show when they learn that the Gods have fallen?" Empress Selena said, a serious look on her face.

"Then let’s keep the demise of the Gods a secret for now. I believe it will be fine as long as the people find out about this on their own. Otherwise, people might suspect us." Emperor Philip said after thinking for a moment.

"Indeed. Our empire is finally on the path to prosperity. A civil war would be disastrous for us or any empire, especially the Holy Light Empire." Empress Selena nodded with a smile.

"It was thanks to Yuan that they managed to become independent from the Holy Church." She added.

Anna Grace and the others were seated on the bed, talking about the fight against the Gods in the High Heaven.

Little Zoe was bombarding Yuan with question after question, her eyes sparkling as she asked how powerful the Gods were and how he had defeated them.

"Big Brother Yuan, Big Sister Sylvia said that you played a unique musical instrument. Can you play it for me?" She asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement about the zither.

"Oh? Are you talking about the zither? Sure, I can play it for you." Yuan smiled at her and immediately retrieved the Whispering Moon Zither.

As soon as the zither appeared, everyone looked at it and admired its beauty and craftsmanship.

"I can feel a strong Spiritual Energy from it. Is it a powerful treasure?" Vanessa asked, a curious look on her face as she looked at the zither.

"Indeed. I feel it too." Nyx added, looking at the zither with a sharp gaze.

Yuan smiled and replied, "No. It’s an ordinary zither. It became like this because its owner infused their soul into the zither through their intent."

"In the hands of a powerful master, even an ordinary object could gain spirituality. As for this zither, it was an important part of its owner, which turned this ordinary zither into a treasure." Yuan explained.

He then sat on the floor and gently placed the zither in front of him, brushing his hand over the beautiful instrument.

’Every time I touch this zither... I feel as if I’m in the embrace of someone I love very dearly.’ Yuan thought, a soft sigh escaping from his lips.

Ting! Ting!

Shortly, a beautiful melody began to flow as Yuan started playing the zither, his fingers gliding across the strings and creating heavenly notes.

Anna Grace and the others immersed themselves in the melody, feeling as though they had been transported into a paradise.

Little Zoe fell asleep on her mother’s lap after listening to the soul-soothing music for a couple of minutes, and Miss Zara gently stroked the little girl’s hair.

Once Yuan’s fingers stopped, Aisha said, "Play another song. It felt too short."

"That’s right. Play another song, dear." Angela nodded with a smile, urging him to play another song.

"Sure. As long as it makes you all happy." Yuan nodded with a smile and prepared to play a different song.

Ting! Ting!

Once again, the room was filled with a heavenly melody that soothed the soul and reenergized the body and mind.

The women looked at Yuan with dazed smiles as he played the zither, and while playing, Yuan appeared even more handsome to them.

With his fingers gliding across the strings, Yuan closed his eyes as he immersed himself in playing it.

After playing for several moments, Yuan finally stopped playing and gently opened his eyes.

"How was my performance? Was it to your liking?" He asked them with a smile as he stored the zither inside his System Storage.

"Your performance was phenomenal, Little Hubby." Vanessa complimented him with a beautiful smile on her face.

Kitsura nodded with a smile. "Absolutely! It was the most beautiful performance I’ve ever witnessed."

"My dear is so talented. He is not only good at fighting but also at everything else. I’m so proud of you." Angela added, blowing a kiss at him.

"Those were indeed the most beautiful songs I’ve ever heard. And you’re quite skilled at the zither, too." Miss Zara said with a smile.

"Thanks, all of you. I’m happy that you liked my songs." Yuan smiled at them and thanked everyone.

Some time later, everyone left the room, leaving Yuan alone with Anna Grace and Emma in the room.

Yuan sat next to his mother and said, "Mom, I want to spend the night with Grandma today."

"Alright. You can spend some time with your grandma today," Anna Grace replied with a smile.

And suddenly, she pulled him into her embrace and said, "But before you go, won’t you kiss us?"

Yuan smiled at her and wrapped his arms around her waist before kissing her for a good few minutes.

"There, are you happy now?" Yuan asked with a smile.

"Very happy," Anna Grace replied.

Then he did the same with Emma and kissed her for a couple of moments before letting her go. It was a pure romantic kiss, expressing their love for each other.

"Good night, Mom."

"Good night, Emma."

"Good night," Both Anna Grace and Emma said in unison as Yuan walked out of the room.

Once Yuan left the bedroom, he directly headed toward the room where his grandma Angela was staying.

Upon arriving at the door, Yuan knocked on the door a few times before a sweet voice answered him.

"Is that you, my dear?" Angela asked, her voice beautiful.

"It’s me, Grandma," Yuan replied softly.

Tap! Tap!

Yuan then heard her footsteps approaching the door, and a few seconds later, the door opened, and he was greeted by his beloved grandmother with a smile on her face.

"What are you doing there? Come inside quickly." Angela said as she noticed him staring at her in a daze and pulled him inside before locking the door.
