MIGHT AS WELL BE OP Chapter 1352: Shield Progenitor

"I thought you guys were waiting to be sent to the Divine Realm. What changed?" he asked, as he could sense their fighting spirit at that moment.
"Nothing, really," Lora Vake responded as she walked, her robe dancing to the rhythm of her Origin Essence.
"What does that make us if the Fifth Core Elder is risking her life against impossible odds? And you, who joined the Sect just almost a month ago, are risking your life. Are we just supposed to sit back and watch?" Tory Hale stated as his five Laws hummed around him, his power surging without restraint.
Chu Feng smirked as he stepped forward as well. "What Tory said is the truth. Even if we are all Above Disciples, at the end of the day, we’ve been here for almost a decade. We can’t let you outshine us, can we?" he asked as his smirk turned into a wide grin. "Besides, I’ve been holding back for a couple of years now, and that shit is exhausting. It won’t be bad if I flex my real strength here."
His black eyes locked onto the enemies before him. At that moment, he was ready to give it his all, and if he was about to die, well, he would let his ’Guardian’ take over his body and turn the tide.
"I hope you guys aren’t forgetting about me," Jerry stated as his Origin Essence surged without restraint. "While Anthony might have saved me a while back, it doesn’t mean I suddenly turned into a chicken." His voice was filled with raw excitement, as though risking his life and dying for a cause wasn’t such a bad thing. "If the juniors back at the Sect hear that I was hiding away instead of fighting until my last breath, they might piss on my grave," he stated in finality.
Anthony stood silently for a moment before a smile touched his lips. It was nice to see that the Founder of the Null Family hadn’t raised ungrateful people. It was understandable if they fought for a while before running away, but fleeing from the onset without putting up a fight seemed kind of lame.
"Since you guys are so courageous and filled with fighting spirit, I will help you a bit," he stated with a small smile.
For a moment, he was tempted to sever their limitations through the Authority of Severance, but at the same time, he understood that in a battlefield like this, every single one of them was going to make an outrageous improvement.
So, he might sever a portion of their limitations after they broke through their current limitations on their own.
Before the Above Disciples could even understand what Anthony meant, his voice echoed through the air like a storm.
"Come forth!"
At those words, his shadow stretched outward like black ink dispersing in water. Many cultivators who had been preparing to make a move instantly leaped backward, as they didn’t know what Anthony had done. It was best not to become scapegoats.
From the shadow, beings began to rise, each of them taking humanoid, angelic, or demonic forms, as Anthony had only added these three species. Their numbers rose in real time: tens, hundreds, thousands, millions, before finally coming to a stop.
Dark Knight stood at the forefront, as he was currently the strongest in the absence of Beru, Silent Annihilator, Bellion, and Igris.
Seeing the change in numbers, some of the cultivators remained indifferent, but they no longer delayed, as they didn’t want their opponents to make any more moves to their advantage.
Origin Essence Energy roared into the air, as though summoning Laws, skills, abilities, and the like. The cultivators instantly summoned whatever they could, just so they could regain the advantage in numbers.
"You keep surprising me, ANTHONY!" Chaos Betroth shouted at the top of her lungs as she shot forward like a bullet from a barrel, her speed faster than thought itself.
She arrived before the incoming horde of beings and punched outward with raw physical force, a wide grin plastered across her face. As her fist met space, the air collapsed, molecules disintegrated, and sound vanished. Space stretched backward like a trampoline before tearing apart in overwhelming lunacy.
A surging shockwave and gravitational outburst erupted outward, slamming into the incoming numbers. Bodies were erased, blood deleted from existence, and bones obliterated. Some couldn’t even see the attack, while others didn’t even feel its touch against their skin.
They were simply wiped out. With a single attack, thousands were annihilated. Chaos Betroth moved again, ready to unleash another blast of raw physical tyranny, her hand drawing backward like a celestial bow. However, before she could unleash it, a figure appeared before her with a shield raised in defense.
Seeing the sudden intruder, she didn’t stop. Instead, she became even more riled up, and with a blast resembling an exploding war drum, her fist met the metallic shield.
At the impact, a devouring blast wave erupted outward in all directions, slamming into Chaos Betroth as well.
But she withstood it with her bare body. Armor? Defensive artifact? Evasion? How could one embody chaos while relying on such things? They were for the weak and weak-minded.
The blast wave slammed into trees and mountains, erasing everything within its path. The man who had blocked her attack with his round shield recalibrated. He spun around and thrust the edge of his shield toward Chaos Betroth’s neck, as though he wanted to break it apart.
"Hmph!" Chaos Betroth snorted, unimpressed by the attack.
Although they were both Progenitors, she considered herself supreme. She took a step, the earth sinking beneath her feet as she drew more power from her legs and waist before throwing another punch, meeting the edge of the shield head-on like a truck.
An ear-splitting bang erupted as though two blunt-force weapons had collided. The sound shattered the eardrums of the weaker cultivators. The shield-wielding Progenitor felt the force travel up his arm, but he didn’t try to withstand it. Instead, he allowed it to throw him backward and into the air, creating distance between them.
His body streaked into the distance, as though he wanted to draw Chaos Betroth away from the weaker cultivators. Chaos Betroth saw through the plan, but she didn’t care. Why should she care whether weaker people lived or died?
She took a step, and with that single movement, she vanished. Her figure appeared above the shield-wielding Progenitor, a grin spreading across her face as her blood boiled like lava.
As she moved to unleash another titanic, bomb-like punch, ten Progenitor cultivators appeared before her, their weapons flashing with pure killing intent as they moved to end the battle instantly.
Seeing the incoming attacks, Chaos Betroth’s lips parted, revealing her teeth. She seemed to resemble a wild beast in the moment, her body blurring as her hands seemingly multiplied into eleven. She met all ten attacks head-on.
A screeching, compressed seismic wave screamed outward, as though reality itself felt the raw power behind her fists. She hadn’t defended. She hadn’t dodged. No, she had unleashed eleven consecutive attacks at the same time, one for each opponent.
The eleven Progenitors skidded backward, having barely blocked the attacks in time. They couldn’t believe she had chosen to attack instead of adopting a defensive maneuver.
"COME!" Chaos Betroth’s voice rose as her dormant instincts as a mad woman awakened from their slumber.
She was ready to unleash hell. She was ready to bathe in blood. She was ready to show the world what Chaos, in its truest form, literally meant.
She was about to show these people why she was known as Chaos Betroth.
