Marvel: The Villain Chapter 346 Word
Previously on Marvel: The Villain...
On a battlefield as cratered and scarred as the surface of the moon, the members of the Joker Organization gathered.
Franklin severed the remote links to the Wakandan ships, deactivated their cloaking systems, and piloted them down one by one. Up close, the vessels were gargantuan, their matte-black hulls radiating an intimidating, high-tech presence.
The group approached the nearest ship. Franklin opened the ventral hatch, and they stepped inside. The interior wasn’t as spacious as they had imagined; including the pilot and co-pilot, it could only hold about twenty soldiers. Most of the internal volume was clearly dedicated to the reinforced hull, a massive arsenal, and advanced subsystems.
Moving from the hold to the cockpit, the vibe shifted from utilitarian to pure sci-fi. There were no traditional joysticks; instead, a glowing hemispherical orb sat where the controls should be. The members stared in awe, looking like country bumpkins seeing a skyscraper for the first time.
Chloe leaned over the console, her eyes scanning the interface. She found a port, and her index finger liquefied and reshaped itself, plugging directly into the system to bypass the encryption.
In an instant, the secrets Wakanda had guarded for millennia surged into Chloe’s memory like a tsunami. Her processor whirred as it analyzed the data. After ten minutes of silence, she finished.
A look of very human-like surprise crossed her pale face. She looked at the others. "Care to guess who sent these ships?"
The group exchanged confused glances. Wasn’t it obvious? Who else besides the Americans or SHIELD could build something like this?
"Is it... aliens?" Harley asked, looking genuinely tense.
The others stared at her. Maybe Jason had pissed off some cosmic power out there, and they’d come to Earth to kidnap his family as leverage.
Chloe blinked at Harley’s logic for a few seconds before shaking her head. She pointed south. "Not aliens. It’s the Kingdom of Wakanda, barely a hundred kilometers away."
The group’s pupils shrunk. Their jaws dropped.
"What did you say?"
Wakanda? The third-world agricultural nation with a bottom-tier GDP? The place so poor that even high-level villains like them didn’t bother robbing it? Harley’s alien theory actually sounded more believable than that.
"Great," Someone muttered. "The robot’s glitched."
"Now what? None of us know how to fix a liquid metal droid!"
"Maybe SHIELD planted a virus in the system?"
Chloe rolled her eyes. "I’m not glitched, and I don’t have a virus."
She plugged back in, and a holographic screen flickered to life. "This is the flight log—communications between the pilots and their base. Listen. They’re speaking Wakandan."
The audio was undeniable proof. The group stood in stunned silence. This was some movie-level bullshit. A supposedly backwater African nation possessing the most advanced technology on Earth? If they were really this powerful, how had they hidden it from the superpowers for so long? Satellites see everything.
"Are you wondering how they hid it?" Chloe asked. "It’s the material. Do you know why the Iron Man missiles couldn’t dent the hull?"
The group shook their heads like students in a math class they didn’t understand.
"Simple. These ships are made almost entirely of Vibranium. Yes, that Vibranium."
A collective gasp sucked the air out of the cockpit. Using the world’s rarest metal to build entire fleets implied an inexhaustible supply. If Chloe was right, the answer was obvious: the Vibranium mines that the Joker Organization and every world government had been hunting for years were inside Wakanda.
It made sense. They had all the Vibranium, which gave them the tech. To protect the secret, they used advanced cloaking to make themselves look like a dirt-poor nation to the rest of the world.
After five minutes of silence, they finally accepted the reality.
"If they’re this strong," A-Train asked, "Why hide? Why not flex and rule the world?"
"Wakanda’s foreign policy is incredibly isolationist," Chloe explained. "They have futuristic tech but live under a feudal monarchy. They don’t want to rule the world; they just want to stay in their own backyard."
The group almost laughed. It was absurd. Why didn’t they stop the slave trade or kick out colonizers centuries ago? The kings of Wakanda must have been out of their damn minds.
"So why attack us today?" A-Train asked.
Chloe pointed at Franklin. "A few days ago, we blew up the UN building. King T’Chaka of Wakanda was killed in the blast. The only survivor was his son, T’Challa."
Ah. Revenge. Everything clicked.
The organization had spent years in Africa looking for Vibranium. Now, it had practically fallen into their laps. They huddled to discuss their next move.
"Wakanda has the tech," Christine said, "But Franklin is their literal hard-counter. His powers are Level 8; no shielding on Earth can stop him. Why don’t we just walk in, take the country, and seize the Vibranium for ourselves?"
The proposal hit home. Leaving that much Vibranium in the hands of isolationist farmers was a waste of resources. It belonged in the hands of people with vision.
Wakanda’s first mistake was trying to hunt the Joker Organization. Their second was exposing their hand and hand-delivering over a hundred advanced ships to their enemies. It was an act of selfless generosity.
The Joker Organization’s elite forces mobilized. To ensure their own base wasn’t snuck up on, Christine ordered the Armor Legion to stay behind on defense. The senior members and the Hulk Legion boarded the captured ships.
With a thought from Franklin, the fleet ascended and screamed toward Wakandan territory. On satellite maps, the country looked like a collection of shacks and old buildings—a total facade. The real city had to be the capital, Birnin Zana.
"Careful," Christine warned. "Don’t underestimate their power."
"I’ve got enough ships flying vanguard and flank," Franklin replied. "If anything blips, we’ll know ten kilometers out."
Ten minutes later, they reached the capital.
CRASH!
Three vanguard ships slammed into a blue shimmering wall, instantly erupting into fireballs that rained down into the jungle. The explosions thundered across the sky.
"What a hell of a shield," Christine remarked. "This is the place."
Franklin slowed the fleet. Harley focused, and in a blink, she teleported the members and the Hulk Legion to the ground.
ROAR!
The Hulk Legion transformed into giants, stepping cautiously through the dense jungle until they reached the blue barrier. Inside, they saw it—a city that looked like a fever dream of the future. Skyscrapers touching the clouds, flying cars, glowing purple energy lines...
The search was over.
As soon as they appeared, a massive army surged from behind a nearby ridge. They wore traditional tribal clothing, chanting in a language the outsiders didn’t know. They carried spears and shields, forming eighteen distinct phalanxes across the hillside—over ten thousand warriors in total.
"I have to know," David said, pointing. "They have ships and lasers, but these guys are standing there with spears and capes? Not a single gun? Not even body armor?"
"They aren’t using ships because they’re scared of Franklin," Chloe explained. "As for the spears... it’s tradition."
John shook his head. "What a waste. It’s like the Middle Ages fighting the future. Let’s help them bury those traditions."
Harley stepped up and touched the barrier. It hummed with a density that rivaled Jason’s own shields. "Should we test it?"
Christine nodded. "Go."
Hundreds of Hulks roared and slammed into the energy shield.
The raw energy scorched their skin instantly. Some pushed too hard, and the shield literally sliced through their limbs. Despite their monstrous strength, not one could break through.
"It’s not as dense as the Boss’s," John noted, "But for a shield this size to have that much kill-pressure? Impressive."
Franklin stepped forward. His voice, amplified by electromagnetic waves, boomed across the field to the eighteen tribes.
"Hey! Where’s your King? I want a word with him!"
