Franklin, Chloe, and the Joker Organization have discovered Wakanda's advanced technology and vast Vibranium reserves. After realizing the advanced nation was responsible for an attack on them due to the death of King T'Chaka, they decide to invade Wakanda and seize its resources. The organization attacks the hidden city of Birnin Zana, encountering a powerful energy shield and a large army.

A moment later, the sea of warriors ahead parted.

T’Challa, clad in the sleek Black Panther suit and flanked by the elite Dora Milaje, stepped toward the shimmering barrier. He deactivated his cowl, his cold gaze sweeping over the Joker’s members. "I suggest you stop wasting your strength," He said, his voice level but firm. "This barrier is powered by the Great Mound’s Vibranium. It is impenetrable."

Franklin immediately bristled, letting out a mocking scoff. "Oh, is that so? If we can’t get in, why don’t you be a pal and open it up? You’re the one who started this party by shooting at us, but now that we’re at the door, you’re hiding behind a curtain?"

T’Challa stared at him down, silent.

Franklin leaned in, pressing his luck. "I thought Wakanda was the tech capital of the world? All I see is a bunch of scared campers. Where are your ships? Did you give them all to us as a welcome gift, or are you just terrified of what I’ll do to the rest of them?"

"This is Wakanda!" T’Challa roared, his patience fraying. "If the Joker Organization dares to tread here, they will find only their graves!"

Franklin rolled his eyes. "Total non-answer. Boring." He shifted gears, a predatory grin spreading across his face. "You’re T’Challa, right? Little prince who just got his crown? Tell me, do you remember how your dear old dad died?"

He tapped his chest proudly. "I’m the one who set the charge. I’m the one who watched him turn into confetti."

T’Challa’s fists clenched so hard the Vibranium claws extended with a sharp . Veins throbbed at his temples.

Franklin began a theatrical, exaggerated performance. "Oh, he died so pitifully! I bet he’s down in hell right now, eyes wide open, watching his son cower behind a fence. He’s probably screaming for revenge, and all you’re doing is standing there!"

Okoye, standing at T’Challa’s side, could hear the King’s ragged, heavy breathing. She gripped her spear, her voice a sharp whisper. "King T’Challa, this is a taunt. He is baiting you. Do not fall for it!"

T’Challa nodded curtly. "I know. Our priority is to hold them here—to buy Shuri the time she needs."

Without another word, he turned his back on them and retreated behind the phalanxes.

"Hey! Hey! Coward! Get back here!" Franklin shouted until he was hoarse, but T’Challa didn’t look back. Franklin cleared his throat and sighed. "Well, my silver tongue failed. Your turn, Harley."

The senior members placed their hands on each other’s shoulders. Harley looked at the high-frequency barrier and offered a faint, mocking smile.

In the next heartbeat, she warped the entire group and the Hulk Legion directly inside the perimeter.

A collective gasp rippled through the tribal phalanxes as the impenetrable defense was bypassed in a literal blink. T’Challa felt a bitter chill in his chest. He knew Harley could manipulate space, but he had hoped the high-energy frequency of the barrier might interfere with her power.

It was a naive hope.

ROAR!

The Hulk Legion charged. The rhythmic thuds of their massive feet hitting the soil acted like a psychological hammer, chipping away at the warriors’ resolve.

"HOLD THE LINE!" T’Challa barked.

The front rank of warriors instantly whipped their traditional capes forward. The fabric, infused with tech, projected individual energy shields that overlapped into a solid wall of blue. The warriors behind them leveled their spears over their comrades’ shoulders.

The spears unleashed torrents of blue sonic energy.

The blasts tore into the lead Hulks, shredding skin and muscle. David watched the carnage, noting the shift. "Looks like we miscalculated. They brought guns to a spear fight after all."

The sonic spears were powerful enough to wound a Hulk, but against the monsters’ thick hides and healing factors, the damage wasn’t immediately lethal. Protecting their heads, the giants plowed forward and slammed into the Wakandan lines.

The clash was brutal and immediate.

The Hulks possessed god-like strength; every punch and kick sent Wakandan warriors flying like ragdolls. But the Wakandans weren’t normal soldiers. Their Vibranium spears and khopeshes could slice through Hulk-flesh like butter. The battlefield became a meat grinder, and as the minutes ticked by, casualties on both sides began to skyrocket.

Christine watched the bloodbath and sighed. "It’s our turn."

While the Hulk Legion’s utility was fading in the face of such high-end tech, they were still the organization’s elite. The senior members weren’t about to let them all die in a war of attrition. Harley stepped forward.

"Wait, hold on!"

A-Train cut her off, sliding into her path. "You and Franklin already had your fun in the sky. This one’s mine. Don’t go stealing my screen time."

Harley smirked and stepped back. "Fine. Just be careful. Don’t run so fast you impale yourself on a spear."

A-Train stretched his hamstrings and grinned. "If I do, pick me out a grave with a nice view."

A gust of wind tore through the grass, and A-Train vanished. He blurred into the thick of the fray, snatched a fallen Vibranium khopesh from the ground, and began to move.

The Vibranium blade was terrifyingly sharp. It parted a Wakandan warrior’s torso from his legs before the man’s nerves could even register the pain.

"Fuck! Now this is a knife!" A-Train laughed to himself. Cutting through people with this blade felt like slicing through warm silk.

He grabbed a second blade and became a blender of silver and blood, carving a path of severed limbs through the phalanxes.

The balance of the battlefield broke. The elders of the Border Tribe, seeing their lines disintegrate, raised their horns and blew a long, low note.

The ground began to vibrate. The Joker members looked up to see a herd of armored rhinos thundering toward them.

"Jesus," Franklin remarked. "What are they feeding those things? They’re twice the size of a normal rhino."

David stepped forward, cracking his neck. "Looks like dinner’s served."

Harley made a face. "Ugh, gross. I have no appetite for that."

David chuckled. "I’ve eaten some weird shit in my mercenary days, but I’ve never tried rhino."

He walked out alone to meet the stampede. The rhinos lowered their massive, armored horns, accelerating into a killing charge. David stood his ground, a calm smile on his face. When they were less than fifty meters away, he opened his mouth and let out a targeted ultrasonic shriek.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"

The frequency was tuned specifically. To the humans, it was a minor annoyance. To the rhinos, it was a death knell. They let out low, pained moans before their brains turned to mush, causing them to collapse and tumble across the grass. Hundreds of tons of muscle and armor slid to a halt, dead.

Seeing his beloved beasts slaughtered, the Border Tribe elder roared in fury, raising his blade to charge David. David spotted him, picked up a discarded spear, and toyed with it for a second. He found the trigger and fired.

A bolt of blue energy crossed the field and punched a hole clean through the elder’s skull. His head snapped back in a spray of red.

"NO!" Okoye’s eyes bulged. The elder David had just executed was her husband.

T’Challa’s face went dark. He bowed his head for a microsecond in mourning. Standing on the ridge, he saw his army breaking. He sighed, activating his Kimoyo beads.

"Shuri," T’Challa said, "The battlefield is lost. Execute Plan B."

Shuri’s voice was thick with grief. "Brother... are you sure?"

T’Challa nodded firmly. "It is the only way."

"Shuri," He pressed, "We are out of time. Do it."

He cut the comms. "Dora Milaje!"

"WE ARE HERE!" They responded through gritted teeth.

"The time has come to give our lives for Wakanda. With me! Kill them all!"

His suit enveloped his face. T’Challa sprinted ahead of his guard, a black streak heading for the heart of the storm.

The Joker Organization watched the King’s desperate charge.

"When the King has to pull his own weight, you know the war is over," Franklin mocked. "What a waste of Vibranium."

Alex stepped out. "Leave the King to me. Once I consume him, Wakanda won’t have any more secrets."

"Those women behind him look like trouble," Franklin noted. "Are you sure you can take them all alone?"

John stepped up. "I’ll handle the women. Harley, send us in."

"Gladly." Harley placed her hands on their shoulders. In a flicker, they were gone.

*

T’Challa was a blur across the grass. With the Heart-Shaped Herb and his kinetic suit, he outpaced his guard easily. Suddenly, a man in a hoodie appeared in his path.

T’Challa recognized him. This was the shapeshifter who had defeated Steve Rogers. His power was physical—dangerous, but within a range T’Challa could fight. He preferred this over the reality-warpers.

T’Challa leaped into the air, cocking a fist to strike. Alex didn’t flinch. His right arm erupted into a mass of writhing red tendrils, hardening into a massive, biological hammer.

The fists collided. For a split second, they were locked, but the sheer mass behind Alex’s strike sent T’Challa flying backward through the air.

"King T’Challa!" Okoye screamed, pushing her pace.

Suddenly, a man in a sharp suit appeared in their path. Okoye’s heart sank.

"Stop!" She ordered. "Do not engage in melee! Weapons up!"

The Dora Milaje leveled their spears. John closed his eyes, and a white frost began to pour from his skin. The moisture in the air froze instantly, forming a massive wall of jagged ice.

The lasers shattered the ice into a million shards. But when the frost cleared, the space behind the wall was empty.

A blast of air hit them from the side. Okoye spun, but her limbs were already locking up. The white mist washed over the group, and the world’s finest female warriors became a collection of crystal-clear ice sculptures, frozen in mid-stride.

T’Challa hit the ground hard, but his suit absorbed the kinetic impact. However, he was horrified to see that a single punch from Alex had nearly capped the suit’s energy storage meter.

"Fuck," T’Challa whispered. He scrambled up, looking for an opening.

Alex swung the biological hammer again. In terms of raw power, he was on par with the Hulk. T’Challa slid underneath the swing, closing the distance and slamming his palms against Alex’s chest to release the suit’s stored kinetic energy.

BOOM!

The suit pulsed with a massive violet shockwave. Alex was blasted off his feet, his body tumbling back.

T’Challa stood up, panting. "Taste your own strength."

He looked back for his guard, but his blood ran cold. The grass behind him was covered in white frost. His entire Dora Milaje were frozen solid.

"Okoye..."

T’Challa turned his fury on John, but John simply pointed behind the King. "Focus on your own fight. You don’t have time to worry about others."

T’Challa spun around. Alex was on the ground, his clothes shredded, his limbs mangled, his internal organs clearly ruptured. Any normal human would be dead.

But Alex wasn’t human.

Crimson tendrils writhed like a nest of snakes, knitting muscle and bone back together. In less than one second, Alex stood up, completely uninjured.

"In the Joker Organization, I’m considered one of the weaker ones," Alex said, his eyes glowing a predatory red as he stepped forward. "Maybe even the Hulk Legion could take me in a fair fight. But do you know why I’m a senior member and they’re just soldiers?"

"Because... I cannot be killed."
