Following a successful operation in Vienna, the Joker Organization's members celebrate their return to prominence. Meanwhile, Harley Quinn and Christine deal with their children, Brian and Angelina. Their meal is interrupted when David detects an incoming attack from a large fleet of Wakandan ships. The organization's elite forces mobilize to confront the invaders on the surface, preparing for a large-scale battle.

The Wakandan ships unleashed a torrent of violet laser fire, and the Armor Legion immediately lost over a dozen men.

"Everyone, watch out! These lasers have incredible destructive power!" The soldiers were terrified. The outer shells of their Iron Man suits were made of high-strength alloys; even large-caliber armor-piercing rounds from the military would usually only scratch the paint. But against these beams, the armor felt like Lego toys—completely fragile.

This was a brutal fight. The unprecedented strength of the enemy had the soldiers' nerves stretched to the breaking point. They realized that mobility alone wouldn't save them. Theoretically, the speed of a laser is the speed of light. Fortunately, the suits were equipped with high-sensitivity sensors that could analyze the targeting direction of the laser cannons, allowing the pilots to dodge a split second before the trigger was pulled.

Pew! Pew! Pew!

Another volley of lasers crisscrossed the sky. This time, however, the Armor Legion maneuvered into safe positions beforehand. Out of a full salvo, only three suits were lost. Having adapted to the ships' attack patterns, the pilots became more adept at weaving through the fire. They rapidly closed the distance and opened their weapon bays for a counter-offensive.

Armor forearm plates slid back, revealing rows of high-explosive armor-piercing missiles.

Puff! Puff! Puff!

The missiles streaked out, trailing plumes of fire, raining down on the ships like a tropical storm.

BOOM!

A series of massive explosions rocked the sky, blooming into giant fireballs. As the flames cleared, the optical cloaking devices on the ships' hulls were destroyed, revealing their massive, physical forms. But the soldiers' eyes widened in horror—such a concentrated missile strike hadn't even cracked the outer armor of the crafts.

What on earth were these things made of?

Watching the screen, T'Challa smirked. "Idiots. These ships are made of Vibranium. You could let your missiles hit them for a whole day, and they still wouldn't break."

In the war room, Okoye monitored the overall tactical situation. Seeing the Armor Legion successfully dodging the lasers, she shifted tactics. "Lock on targets. Fire missiles!"

The pilots in the remote cockpits received the command, tagged their targets, and slammed the fire buttons. Cargo bays beneath the ships opened, and missiles—two meters long and half a meter wide—dropped from the sky.

Whoosh!

The missiles ignited, screaming toward the Armor Legion.

WARNING! MISSILE INBOUND!

The moment the lock-on occurred, the HUDs in the suits flashed red. The pilots followed the flight path indicators to bank away. However, halfway through their flight, the missiles suddenly split apart, each becoming six smaller sub-munitions. These micro-missiles locked onto individual targets and accelerated.

Beep-beep-beep!

The warning alarms became a frantic screech. The pilots pushed their Arc Reactors to maximum output, trying to use high-G maneuvers to shake the tails. But these missiles were like flies; conventional evasion was useless. The Legion began releasing flares to decoy the seekers, but a chill ran down their spines as the missiles ignored the heat signatures entirely, staying glued to their targets.

Fuck!

The missiles slammed into the suits. Fireballs blossomed across the sky as the armor disintegrated into shrapnel. This single volley wiped out half of the Iron Man army.

Seeing the thermal signatures on his screen drop by half, T'Challa was in high spirits. One more volley, and the "Legion" would be history. Father always praised Tony Stark in front of me, but it seems his armor is nothing more than this.

On the ground, the Joker members watched the battle.

"Well, this isn't looking great."

"Those ships are too strong! Flawless defense and terrifying offense."

"Seems we underestimated SHIELD. In three years, their tech has undergone a total transformation."

"Yeah, meanwhile, we've been treading water. No Vibranium found, no tech breakthroughs."

"If the Boss hadn't upgraded our powers, the organization would be in real trouble right now."

Hearing this, Franklin, who was wearing a suit of armor but left his head exposed, chimed in: "The Boss is the soul of the organization. Our powers were gifted by him; there's no shame in relying on him. Besides, who says military tech has to be developed in-house? We can just go up there and take it."

With that, the boots of his armor erupted in flame, and Franklin accelerated toward the battlefield. The other members looked at each other. Calling a robbery justified procurement... you really are a piece of work, Franklin.

Beep! Beep!

Shuri's radar chirped, detecting the intruder. "Who is this? Someone with a death wish?" She switched the infrared camera to high-definition. Seeing the unique markings on the armor, she gasped. "Brother! Franklin has appeared!"

T'Challa's eyes narrowed, his fists clenching. Franklin was the primary suspect in the Vienna bombing—the murderer of King T'Chaka. The siblings hated him with every fiber of their being.

"Don't be afraid!" T'Challa said, suppressing his rage. "The ships are shielded. Franklin's powers are useless against us." He turned to Okoye. "Order all ships to fire on him simultaneously!"

Franklin arrived at the center of the battlefield, hovering calmly. He slowly extended his hands. With a thought, his Level 8 power flared, sending powerful waves of energy across the sky.

Suddenly, the pilots in the Wakandan war room found their controls dead. They tried to reconnect, but the ships wouldn't budge. Red warning lights flooded the cockpits.

Okoye's eyes went wide. "This... this is impossible!" Over half of the hundred-plus remote stations were flashing red, meaning the majority of the fleet was now under Franklin's control.

T'Challa and Shuri were stunned. According to SHIELD's files, Franklin's power was electromagnetic, which should be blockable. Previous encounters had proven this. Why didn't it work for us? Did Shuri's shielding fail?

While T'Challa was reeling, the experienced Okoye snapped back to reality. She calculated that Franklin's effective range was ten kilometers. She ordered the remaining ships to pull back and attack from outside that radius.

Pew! Pew! Pew!

The lasers streaked toward Franklin. But the next second, something truly incomprehensible happened. The lasers stopped dead in mid-air several kilometers away from him, as if the world had been put on pause.

The ship cameras zoomed in and locked onto a figure: Harley Quinn. She was floating in the sky, hands outstretched, holding the space around her in stasis.

You have helpers? So do we.

She snapped her fingers with a smirk. The suspended laser energy was instantly displaced toward the ground.

BOOM! The rainforest below was cratered by the redirected fire. Harley crossed her arms and beckoned the ships with a taunting finger. If I wasn't afraid of damaging the ships, I'd have tested whether your lasers are stronger than your armor.

Franklin flew over. "Harley, these ships are treasures. Move them all over here!"

Harley nodded, teleporting across the sky to grab the ships outside the ten-kilometer mark and dumping them right into Franklin's grasp.

Beep-beep-beep!

The Wakandan war room was a sea of red lights. All 130+ ships were now under Franklin's control. The massive room fell into a deathly silence, save for the hum of the electronics. The pilots sat with their heads down.

It was a total disaster. They had sent their most advanced fleet, and in minutes, they had simply handed that fleet over to the enemy. In all of Wakanda's history, they had never suffered a defeat this humiliating. To the proud Wakandan warriors, it felt like a dimension strike from a higher power—they were beginning to question the very nature of their existence.

Okoye's face was grim. For the first time, she felt the crushing weight of being utterly powerless. But she knew that as bad as she felt, the young King must be suffering more. She hurried to Shuri's lab.

As expected, T'Challa sat slumped in a chair, the picture of defeat. It was his first day as King, and his first war. This catastrophe led him down a dark path of self-doubt. He began to wonder if he was fit for the throne, or if a hereditary monarchy was a relic that belonged in the trash. The world was no longer decided by a duel at a waterfall.

"King T'Challa!" Okoye barked, seeing him in a daze. "This failure is not your fault. Our intelligence was outdated. No one—not even King T'Chaka—could have done better against an information gap this vast."

T'Challa gave a hollow laugh. "If it were my father, he probably wouldn't have started this war at all."

Okoye didn't know how to argue with that. T'Challa was in his early thirties; his experience was no match for the burden he carried. Seeing him still spiraling, she changed her tone. She pointed out the window.

"King T'Challa! Over a hundred ships are in the hands of the Joker Organization! With their abilities, they will crack Wakanda's secrets in no time. War is now unavoidable! The safety of millions rests on your shoulders!"

"Are you going to stay slumped in that chair while they destroy everything your father built? While they burn Wakanda to the ground?"

The words hit him like a thunderclap. Destroy... Wakanda!

"No," T'Challa whispered. "I won't let that happen."

The fire returned to his eyes. He stood up, grabbed the silver necklace, and snapped it around his neck. He activated his beads, calling the Border Tribe.

"Activate the Great Mound energy barrier! Cut all non-essential power and boost the shield to maximum! No one gets in!"

He turned to Shuri. "Franklin is our biggest problem. From this moment on, your only job is to find a way to break his control. Until then, we use physical restraints—chains, anything—to hold our remaining ships! They cannot have any more!"

"Okoye, summon the warriors of all tribes. This war will decide if Wakanda lives or dies."

Seeing T'Challa's eyes, Shuri and Okoye bowed. "By your command, Your Majesty!"
