Henry, Cassandra, and Kingo successfully salvaged Isu weapons and artifacts from a crate. They discovered all Eternals could use Isu weapons, though Henry could not. Henry then used his super-speed and flight to deliver the salvaged items to their respective locations worldwide. Afterward, they decided to sail back home, with Henry agreeing to catch eels for dinner.

Having found the true objective of their trip on only the second day of vacation, Henry naturally wasn’t going to ruin everyone’s fun by immediately heading home. Instead, he fully enjoyed the Aegean vacation they’d planned.

Although he had kept the Isu equipment behind to study, he only took it out and fiddled with it during his free time. He certainly wasn’t carrying it around and pondering it every waking moment.

The same went for everyone else. Immortals might seem extraordinarily experienced, as though they should take everything in stride.

But in reality, the novelty of an activity was only part of the fun. More important was the excitement and, above all, who you were doing it with. As long as you had the right companions, even playing some cliché game—or simply messing around in the waves—could be incredibly enjoyable.

But the happiest person of all was undoubtedly little Skye.

She had bounced from one foster home to another before eventually ending up alone in a place like the New York sewers. When had she ever gotten to have fun like this?

Compared with the Aegean Sea, clean beaches, delicious food, expensive water activities, and all kinds of attentive resort services—things adults considered "luxurious" and beyond the means of ordinary people—the thing that made Skye happiest was having a group of people willing to play with her.

For a fourteen-year-old girl whose life had once been confined to the bottom rung of society, she simply didn’t have enough experience to understand the difference between expensive entertainment and cheap amusement.

But she could still tell what was fun and what wasn’t, and what made her happy and what didn’t.

This sort of innocence was easier to see in children below middle-school age. Once children entered middle school, most had already learned a certain amount of worldly wisdom.

Given Skye’s experiences, she should have been especially guarded and mature beyond her years. Instead, as though trying to make up for the childhood she had missed, she had rediscovered a precious innocence at this simple island resort.

Especially with the new friends Henry had brought along. Despite all being adults, they were more than happy to go wild with this little girl.

Under normal circumstances, a girl who had grown up in orphanages and sewers wouldn’t have lowered her guard so easily and played with strangers. Especially not people who weren’t anywhere near her age and whom she’d barely known for any length of time.

But it helped that these people were willing to follow her orders and play pranks on Henry with her!

As the saying went, the enemy of my enemy is my unbreakable ally.

After several days of standing united against a common enemy, Skye had already begun treating the others as kindred spirits.

No matter what ridiculous scheme she came up with, someone was always willing to join her in causing trouble. If they got caught, someone would even stay behind to cover for her and hold Henry back.

How could she not trust friends like that?

They were comrades who had fought together in the same trench!

In Skye’s mind, she was practically a hero leading a band of companions against the bearded Demon King Henry.

For the others, willingly joining Skye’s mischief was fun for another reason as well: children’s ideas often came completely out of Henry’s expectations.

If the others wanted to prank the Kryptonian, it was like a battle of wits. They had to calculate everything and see who could plan the most accurately.

But when the little girl took action, some of her ideas were downright ridiculous and sounded completely unreliable.

Precisely because those crooked schemes fell outside the Kryptonian’s calculations, they sometimes caught him off guard.

Even if a prank didn’t achieve its full effect, as long as it left Henry looking embarrassed, everyone was satisfied.

Of course, Henry wasn’t a target who simply stood there and took it. Whenever he got the chance, he had no hesitation about retaliating.

And quite often, Henry still came out on top. So no one could blame the others for joining forces against him.

The Kryptonian’s abilities were simply too overpowered—even when he wasn’t using any of his various superpowers.

On the final day before the vacation ended, Skye brought up the same old request again.

This time, however, she approached a different person.

"Gilgamesh, can you teach me how to fight?"

"Fight? Me? Aren’t you already learning from Thena? Why did you suddenly come to me?"

The two-meter-tall West Asian giant asked in confusion.

"Because I’ve realized you’re the only person who can go toe-to-toe with Henry. So I want you to teach me too. Besides, whenever I ask Thena, she only teaches me basic exercises. She hasn’t taught me how to beat people up."

Kingo immediately started showing off his physique nearby, striking various bodybuilding poses.

"Skye, I can teach you too! How can you overlook a master like me?"

Gilgamesh mercilessly exposed him.

"You skinny monkey couldn’t withstand one punch from me. What kind of master are you?"

"Hey, come on. I can keep fighting you for an entire year. Let’s see who actually loses."

Kingo’s tone sounded tough, but what he said was already an admission of weakness.

Gilgamesh ignored his old friend and seriously said to Skye, "If you really want to learn something, Thena is the best teacher for you. The reason she only has you doing basic exercises is because you need to build a foundation. My methods aren’t suitable for you, and you wouldn’t be able to learn them."

"How could that be? I’m really smart. There’s nothing I can’t learn."

"I believe you, child. That’s precisely why Thena, who’s proficient with all kinds of weapons and techniques, is your best teacher. The way Henry and I actually fight isn’t suitable for you."

"The way you really fight? What does that mean? Karate? Taekwondo? Boxing?"

The girl, whose knowledge of fighting amounted to little more than wild flailing, only knew the famous martial arts styles.

Gilgamesh thought for a moment.

"It’s difficult to explain in words. I’ll show you instead."

The West Asian giant stood up from the beach and called loudly,

"Henry! Let’s have a serious fight."

Not far away, the Kryptonian was thinking while using his finger to write some equation in the sand. To anyone else, it looked like a child squatting there and doodling.

He looked up in confusion.

"A serious fight? Why?"

Gilgamesh said, "Ever since we first met, I’ve wanted to find out just how strong you really are. We just never had the opportunity—or a suitable place—so it’s been delayed until now.

"It’s not exactly a deserted island, but there aren’t many unrelated spectators around either. And I’ll let Skye see what you look like when you’re fighting seriously, so she’ll stop thinking about challenging you all the time."

Henry was about to refuse, but then he remembered that Thanos was also an Eternal according to the official lore.

Gilgamesh’s close-combat ability should therefore have some reference value.

Henry stood up and brushed the sand from his hands, casually asking,

"How serious?"

The Eternal giant, still dressed in a floral shirt and baggy shorts, walked toward Henry.

He rolled his thick arms once, and golden energy traced fine lines around them.

This was Gilgamesh’s combat mode.

"This serious!"

The moment he finished speaking, the two-meter-tall West Asian giant shot toward Henry like a cannonball.

A series of combinations followed, each strike clear and deliberate. His movements weren’t particularly fast, yet they carried an overwhelming, unstoppable momentum.

Caught off guard, Henry barely managed to block the first three punches.

Each punch forced him back a step, leaving deep craters beneath his feet.

When the fourth punch came, it broke through his crossed arms and slammed squarely into Henry’s chin, launching him into the air.

As Henry came back down, another devastating punch struck him!

The Kryptonian spun through the air like a wheel, skipping across the churning surface of the sea.

One rotation, one bounce.

His entire body was like a speedboat at full throttle, riding the wind and breaking through the waves as he tumbled toward the distant horizon.

Gilgamesh happily raised both hands and cheered.

"Woohoo! I’ve been wanting to do that for ages!"
