Love You Till the End Chapter 1203 - 1201: Shi Mei vs. Shi Keke (48)
Previously on Love You Till the End...
Although Shi Keke possessed some grappling skills, capable of handling one or two assailants, she found herself in dire straits against over a dozen burly opponents. Overwhelmed, she was quickly subdued.
"Fight! Weren't you tough just now? Why aren't you fighting now?"
"Yeah, beautiful, weren't you so fierce earlier? How come you don't even dare to speak now? Are you feeling scared too?"
"Little beauty, obediently call us grandpa, and we'll be gentle. We guarantee you'll feel comfortably crippled."
The group of ruffians became arrogant, taunting her incessantly before erupting into boisterous laughter.
Suddenly, however, forty to fifty men clad in black emerged, encircling the thugs.
"You guys… who are you…"
Their leader stammered, his words catching in his throat as the dozens of black-clad men brandishing firearms before him clearly harbored lethal intent, sending an icy chill down his spine.
"Bang!"
A gunshot echoed, and the man who had tied Shi Keke's hands was fatally shot by one of the black-clad figures.
Witnessing the man collapse into a pool of blood, the gangsters were instantly terrified. More than half raised their hands in surrender, while the rest were left in a state of panic, soiling themselves.
Shi Keke was untied, and then guarded by at least ten men in black.
The black-clad men remained expressionless, their eyes burning with a fierce killing intent, as if a mere glance could extinguish a life.
Shi Keke observed them, finding the appearance of these men too coincidental. She began to ponder their identities and who had dispatched them.
While she was lost in thought, several more gunshots rang out in succession, fired by the black-clad men. Those who had arrived with Qian Hao were all targeted, not a single one spared.
Some were shot in the head, others in the neck, chest, abdomen, or legs…
The ground was strewn with bodies, blood painting the scene a grim tableau. Some were deceased, while others writhed in their final moments, the sight utterly tragic.
Shi Keke considered herself resilient, yet the brutal scene made it difficult to remain composed.
She turned away, fighting a wave of nausea, and took out her phone to call Shi Mei, only to discover it was dead.
Frowning, she reached out and pulled a nearby black-clad man towards her, demanding, "Who sent you?"
The man offered no reply, maintaining his stoic, unreadable expression from before.
Seeing his silence, Shi Keke ceased her questioning. The dire circumstances left no room for extended thought, further inquiries, or rational action.
A chaotic scene unfolded around them. In broad daylight, such a serious shooting incident occurred, causing everyone to flee and hide, nobody daring to intervene or report it to the police.
"Are… are those all your people?"
Across the street, Qian Hao stared at the bodies and corpses littering the area outside the courthouse, his eyes vacant, his body trembling uncontrollably. The recent events felt like a horrifying nightmare, instilling in him an unprecedented level of fear.
"What else would you think?"
Though addressing Qian Hao, Shi Mei couldn't be bothered to even glance at him.
His gaze remained fixed on Shi Keke, who stood not far away, her face still composed. He couldn't tear his eyes away, a thin, alluring smile curving his lips.
