Love You Till the End Chapter 1134 - 1143: Control Your Woman

Su Zhenxiong’s expression turned grim, but with Shi Aoju present, he had no choice but to suppress his displeasure. "You don't have to work at my company, but you must live at home. That way, I won't interfere even if you continue as a servant," he stated.
Su Jiuyi didn't perceive his words as a concession. Each one sounded perfectly reasonable, painting him as a father genuinely concerned for her well-being.
"I still say, you have no right to dictate my life," she retorted.
"Su Jiuyi, don't push things too far. Your father is acting for your own good, not to harm you," Zhao Shuya interjected indignantly. "Before, you working at the nightclub was one thing. But now you're running off to be a servant? Our Su Family is considered prestigious. As the eldest daughter, do you truly believe working as a servant is appropriate? People will surely mock us, suggesting we can afford servants but cannot afford to provide for our own daughter."
Su Zhenxiong remained silent, allowing Zhao Shuya to continue her tirade, which implicitly meant he agreed with her. This emboldened her further. "I consider myself to have treated you without fault. Yet, your actions now imply that I, as your stepmother, am cruel and mistreat you, attempting to drive you out of the Su Family."
Upon hearing this, Su Jiuyi couldn't help but let out a laugh. She claimed not to have treated her poorly, yet over the years, Su Jiuyi had never experienced anything resembling kindness from Zhao Shuya.
From the moment Zhao Shuya entered the Su Family, she had employed every possible tactic to isolate Su Jiuyi, to oppose her at every turn, and had even colluded with the household staff to bully her. This was supposedly what constituted treating her well.
"Thank you," Su Jiuyi said with a smile, her tone laced with sarcasm. "Thank you for not treating me poorly. Thank you for allowing me to see so many things clearly, especially human nature. Those with hearts as venomous as vipers often appear harmless on the surface. Just when you believe they pose no threat, they strike with the most fatal blow."
"Su Jiuyi," Su Zhenxiong's voice hardened, "Watch your words."
Her biological father's command prompted Su Jiuyi to look at him, the smile on her face twisting into a bitter grimace. Even now, he was unwilling to stand by her, continuing to defend Zhao Shuya. The realization struck her: there was no longer any reason for her to stay in this home.
Observing Su Jiuyi's demeanor, Shi Aoju's gaze gradually chilled. He cast a glance at Zhao Shuya before fixing his sight on Su Zhenxiong.
"Keep your woman in check. If I witness her behaving towards my woman in such a manner again, I cannot guarantee she will see tomorrow's dawn here," Shi Aoju declared, his voice dropping to an extreme degree of coldness. In that moment, he appeared as a demon emerging from the depths of hell, radiating a palpable and dangerous hostility.
Su Zhenxiong had assumed Shi Aoju would offer him some semblance of respect, certainly not openly challenge him in front of Zhao Shuya and Su Jiuyi. However, he had gravely miscalculated; he had not anticipated Shi Aoju's absolute lack of restraint. He was acutely aware of Shi Aoju's reputation—ruthless and decisive. His words were not to be taken lightly. Thus, he offered a placating smile. "Young Master Jue, you are a man of great magnanimity. Please, do not stoop to the level of a mere woman." With that, he shot Zhao Shuya a meaningful look, signaling her to retreat immediately.
Zhao Shuya noted the darkness clouding Shi Aoju's expression, recognizing his genuinely foul mood. She complied, rising from her seat and heading upstairs.
