Invincible Little School Doctor Chapter 2018: 2018: Earth Element Origin?

Instead of the Heaven-Penetrating Barrier, the Escape Pill was Ye Haochuan's choice because the monster's assaults were relentless. Continuous attacks would overwhelm him if he stayed. While the Heaven-Penetrating Barrier could block these assaults, it would drain his Spiritual Energy excessively, a foolish tactic. Now that he had momentarily broken free from the conflict, numerous other strategies became available.
Ye Haochuan retrieved a Spirit Level Nine-Bend Continuation Pill and a Mortal Level Infant Energy Condensation Pill, consuming both simultaneously. He then focused the Longevity Spirit Qi within his body, merging it with the medicinal components of the Nine-Bend Continuation Pill, and channeled it towards the two injuries he sustained.
A sensation of warmth and tingling spread through Ye Haochuan's senses, and the gaping wounds on his body began to mend with remarkable speed. At this precise moment, the Halberd of Heaven and Earth, which the monster had previously flung aside, detected Ye Haochuan's presence and swiftly returned to his vicinity.
Within the established laws of this Immortal Realm, artifacts such as the Halberd of Heaven and Earth and the Divine Concealment Sword, possessing Artifact Spirits, retain the ability to fly, but their range is limited, and they cannot transport individuals. Of course, should Ye Haochuan's Cultivation ascend further, he might be able to empower them to soar freely, much like in the Lower Realm.
“Roar~”
The monster, its triangular head tilted, observed with bewildered eyes in the direction Ye Haochuan had vanished into the sky. It mused whether its attack had become so devastatingly potent that it had annihilated its foe.
After a prolonged scan, confirming Ye Haochuan's absence, a peculiar, almost smug smile twisted the monster's features. The Rule Power of this Immortal Realm is exceptionally potent; even Perception abilities are significantly weaker than in the Lower Realm. Coupled with the monster's limited intelligence, it failed to recognize the effects of the Escape Pill. With Ye Haochuan suppressing his aura, the beast detected nothing.
Consequently, the creature genuinely believed Ye Haochuan had met his end. Feeling triumphant, it began to move its numerous legs, proceeding with a jaunty, elevated gait towards the forest from which it had emerged. Its victory seemingly lent a lightness to its steps.
Observing the monster's complacent retreat from his vantage point atop the large tree, an unnamable rage stirred within Ye Haochuan. The damage inflicted by this beast was severe, and he had no intention of allowing it to depart unpunished.
“Nine-Tailed Sword Qi!”
Ye Haochuan's voice dropped to a low murmur as he summoned the evolved Demon Fox Illusion. Without any prompting, the fox's cunning gaze fixed upon the monster several hundred meters away.
During their previous engagement, Ye Haochuan had been forced into a defensive posture, preventing him from unleashing this ultimate technique. Now, shifting to offense, his prior disadvantage evaporated, clearing the path for him to unleash his true power.
Whoosh~
Nine ethereal yet tangible tail swords, enveloped in a swirling, fiery red mist, surged toward the monster. Upon witnessing the sudden appearance of these nine phantom blades, the monster's smug expression vanished instantly. A palpable sense of danger emanated from it as it let out a frantic howl.
The sharp horn adorning its head twitched, aiming towards the approaching phantom blades. A crimson light coalesced in its eyes, while the small wings near its ears flapped incessantly. The distance between the blades and the monster rapidly diminished. When merely a hundred meters remained, two beams of blood-red light shot from the monster's eyes, striking one phantom tail sword and causing it to dim significantly, nearly dissipating.
The diminutive wings by the monster's head generated a miniature tornado, engulfing three of the tail swords. Its horn deflected another phantom blade, but the remaining three continued their relentless charge directly at its body. The Demon Fox Illusion, positioned beside Ye Haochuan, surveyed the monster, and the final three phantom blades executed a graceful arc, converging on the creature's vulnerable point.
A pre-existing wound marked this spot, previously inflicted by Ye Haochuan's Halberd of Heaven and Earth. 'It can identify and exploit weaknesses on its own?' Ye Haochuan mused, pleasantly surprised. Having absorbed the essence of the Six-Tailed Fox, the Nine-Tailed Sword Qi now exhibited enhanced intelligence. While it could act independently before, its actions were primarily instinctual. This newfound ability to automatically target an opponent's weak points indicated a significantly more advanced and intelligent state.
In its current form, the Nine-Tailed Sword Qi behaved akin to an independent demonic beast, distinct from Ye Haochuan himself.
As the monster perceived the approaching tail swords, it made an attempt to defend itself. However, having just exerted itself against the preceding tail swords, its strength was naturally depleted at that precise moment, rendering it incapable of timely action. It was instantly impaled by three tail swords along its existing wound.
The monster's defensive capabilities were remarkably robust; the tail swords' assault did not result in immediate severance, merely penetrating two to three inches deep.
Blast it, how can this be fought?
Ye Haochuan cursed inwardly.
This particular strike had been executed with a degree of serendipity; if even this attack failed to slay the monster, what possible hope would he possess?
Just as he was deep in contemplation, he abruptly observed the monster's eyes becoming glazed over, and its entire body swayed as if it were intoxicated.
“Could this be… the effect of the mystical mist?” Ye Haochuan scrutinized the fiery red mist enveloping the monster’s wound, musing to himself.
This mist was an acquisition of the Nine-Tailed Sword Qi subsequent to its most recent evolution. Ye Haochuan had not yet ascertained its specific effects. Now, it appeared the mist possessed a discernible hypnotic quality.
Capitalize on the opportune moment!
Ye Haochuan resolutely refused to let this chance pass him by. The Divine Concealment Sword materialized in his grasp instantaneously, and his form transformed into a swift gust of wind, hurtling towards the monster.
While the Halberd of Heaven and Earth boasted immense raw power, in terms of sheer sharpness, the Divine Concealment Sword held a distinct advantage.
The monster remained in a dazed state and lacked the requisite strength to mount any effective resistance.
With blinding speed, Ye Haochuan closed the distance, his Divine Concealment Sword executing a fluid slash along the existing wound.
Swoosh~
The area where the flesh had been breached now appeared no different from ordinary tissue before the keen edge of the Divine Concealment Sword, being instantly cleaved in twain.
The monster was bifurcated, writhing violently, yet it still clung to life.
Ye Haochuan sheathed his sword and proceeded to meticulously slice the monster's elongated body into a dozen segments.
“Hmm? What is this peculiar item?”
Upon bisecting the monster’s head, Ye Haochuan unexpectedly discovered a yellow bead, roughly the size of a cat's eye, sparking his immediate curiosity.
This bead, in addition to containing abundant Spiritual Energy Flower Energy, also held a rich and pure concentration of Earth Elemental energy.
“Could this possibly be… the Earth Element Origin?”
Upon this realization, Ye Haochuan’s heart could not help but palpitate wildly with exhilaration.
