Infinite wealth In A New World Chapter 480: The Devil Ruler's Return

"You all did good." The Corpse Monarch said, his voice sounding like the grinding of ancient tombstones as he stared intently at his fist.
"You not only hunted for the perfect vessels, you also prepared such perfect food... The Matriarch is really thoughtful." He added, casting a hollow, appreciative glance toward the crimson puddle where the thirty sacrificed immortals had just been violently consumed.
"Yes... I am also impressed with this body." Matilda said, a dark, elegant smile gracing her features as she licked a stray drop of crimson energy from her porcelain finger.
"We can all share the memories of these bodies... And I am a bit surprised, because this body once had sexual relationship with the Lord's Vessel." the Blood Queen said, turning her sharp, crimson gaze toward the towering main coffin at the center of the room. A twisted, knowing smirk played on her lips as the neural pathways of her host fully synchronized with her ancient soul.
"Yeah, same with this body, although I would love to feel it, I just don't want to rely on the memories." Madeleine said, licking her lips with a ravenous, predatory hunger.
".....?!"
Hearing the two speak so casually of such intimate matters, everyone in the chamber stared at them with a slight, collective frown, all thoroughly speechless. The solemn, terrifying atmosphere of the resurrection ritual had been momentarily derailed by the bizarre romantic history of their stolen vessels.
"You don't have to get into detail." Matilda said coldly, her authoritative voice cutting through the awkward tension. She turned her stern gaze back to the massive central coffin, signaling an end to the idle chatter:
"Alright, First guardian." The two nodded their heads, instantly snapping back into a posture of absolute discipline.
"We have been asleep for millions of years, and we have all forgotten our names, so we will take the names of these bodies. Is that okay with you all?" Matilda asked, turning her head toward the rest of the Guardians gathered in the dim light of the chamber.
"I don't have any issue with that." Gerrard nodded his massive, horned head, entirely indifferent to whatever label he carried as long as he could taste battle once more.
"Same." The others added in a low, rumbling chorus of agreement.
"Good... Now, let's open this for the Lord."
Matilda stretched one pale finger directly at the runes binding the main coffin. The rest of the elite group followed her lead, stepping into their designated positions around the altar, and pointed one finger each at the reinforced sealing pillars.
Matilda: "From The Everlasting Soul."
Gerrard: "From The Everlasting Life."
Madeleine: "From The Everlasting Sky."
Blood Queen: "From The Everlasting Blood."
All: "We Break the chain of life and death, and use our Vitality to resurrect our Lord!!"
BOOOOM!!
Colossal, blood-red runic circles manifested out of thin air before their outstretched fingers, spinning with violent intensity before they flew straight towards the central coffin, merging seamlessly with the jagged runes etched into its surface.
BOOOOM!!
The ancient wood groaned under the sudden, immense influx of primordial vitality. The Coffin cracked violently down the center, and the heavy stone lid instantly shattered into a cloud of fine, obsidian dust, spreading all over the place like a dark fog.
BOOOOM!!
Crimson lightning bolts dropped out of the empty void above, shattering the spatial boundaries of the sanctuary as two piercing white eyes flickered open within the darkness of the Coffin. Everyone watched in utter awe and adoration as a muscular man calmly walked out of the wreckage. His long, snow-white hair reached all the way down his back, contrasting sharply with his dark aura. He was completely shirtless, not hiding one bit of his perfectly sculpted muscles, with a dense, suffocating wave of Primordial energy spreading out from his body, heavy enough to warp the local space.
THUD!
The nine ancient guardians dropped heavily to their knees, bowing their heads in absolute submission to the ultimate authority.
"We welcome the Devil Ruler!!!" They yelled in unison, their voices shaking the obsidian pillars.
The Devil Ruler moved his completely white eyes all over the grand hall, absorbing the layout of the chamber before finally pausing his gaze on the trembling form of Morrigan.
"Morrigan, my 21,575th wife." As he spoke, an invisible, irresistible telekinetic force grabbed Morrigan by the waist and pulled her smoothly across the room towards him. Her eyes were completely filled with unyielding love and frantic adoration; not a single bit of fear was present in their depths.
"Out of all my wives, you are the only one who survived. But you didn't abandon me..." She floated gently before him, her heart racing as he slowly raised his calloused hand, caressing her pale cheek with a rare touch of gentleness.
"I will never give up on you, My love!! I will love you forever! I will willingly give my life for you anytime and anywhere!" Morrigan yelled, her voice filled with the frantic devotion of someone who had been entirely possessed by a singular purpose.
"Good."
He moved her closest to him, pulling her fragile frame against his bare chest, and lightly kissed her lips, sealing her ancient vow. "I will also agree with my first guardian, from now on, I will be known as Lester Blood... This body is an enemy of a new realm ruler, but his memory is in a mess." he said, placing Morrigan lightly back on her feet as he sorted through the fractured mental remnants of his new host.
"I am sorry love, to get full control of the body, we destroyed some of his soul, which affected his memories... But you can read mine and get all the information needed." she said, looking up at him lovingly, desperate to be of use to her sovereign.
"No... Soul search is a dangerous ability." Lester said, his tone shifting into something cold. He stretched both of his hands forward into the open air, and instantly, Xanax and the Saint of Blood were forcefully yanked from their kneeling position, flying helplessly towards him.
BAM!!
He grabbed both of their skulls in his massive hands, his grip tightening like a iron vice. Their eyes went wide in pure horror as they realized their absolute vulnerability.
"My Lord! I am your second-in-command! I am loyal to you!!" Xanax yelled in horror, his legs dangling above the floor as he clawed desperately at Lester's wrist.
"Loyal? You revealed our plans to the enemy, and you dare say you are loyal! When forced, why didn't you kill yourself and show your loyalty?!" Lester yelled at him, his voice echoing with absolute disdain for the weakness that had compromised his network.
"....?!"
Xanax was completely horrified, his arguments turning to ash.
"Lord! I haven't failed you before!" the Saint of Blood started, his voice cracking, but he froze entirely upon seeing the Lord's emotionless, void-like white eyes staring directly into his soul.
"Your slaves are weak, letting mere Subordinates damage my Cup! And due to this, 30 lives were used as an exchange... Do you think I don't know what's going on?!" Lester asked coldly, and immediately activated his agonizing soul-searching ability, ripping through their remaining defenses.
"If I am going to die! I will die with you!!" Xanax yelled in a final, desperate fit of rage, his internal energy flaring.
"Same!!!" the Saint of Blood added, both of them instantly planning on blowing their inner cores to take the sanctuary down with them.
"How dare you resist before the Lord." Matilda said simply from the sidelines. She snapped her fingers, and a wave of absolute nullification washed over the captives. All the energies in their bodies instantly evaporated into nothingness, stunning the two as their cultivation paths were entirely locked down.
"No!!"
"Fools! I wasn't going to kill you, but now..." Lester said, his voice dropping all pretense of mercy. He finally let go of their skulls, as the two dropped heavily to the ground. Within seconds, their flesh withered, their bodies rapidly drying up into hollow, brittle skeletons as their memories and life essences were fully integrated into Lester's sovereign mind.
Standing tall over the dust of his failed servants, Lester threw his arms wide open to the dark abyss of space.
"I, The Devil Ruler! I am back!!!"
