After a crushing victory, Hye surprises Moth by demanding to seize multiple enemy bases. Moth explains the logistical impossibility of defending new territories with their depleted forces, but Hye is undeterred, confident in his ability to acquire sufficient troops. Moth reluctantly agrees to let Hye try, sending a detachment to observe. Hye, along with his commanders Sara, Olana, and Lucas, discusses the plan to capture the undefended bases and establish portals for mutual defense.

To Olana, Hye’s pronouncements seemed like mere fantasies or wild dreams. However, she kept these thoughts to herself. She had learned from the moment she met Hye that he was the one who consistently brought forth miracles and accomplished the unbelievable.

Consequently, she resolved to place her trust in him, in the pursuit of the impossible and the unthinkable.

"I am unsure of the extent of your forces," Olana began, deciding to preempt any potential misunderstandings, "but one thing is certain: this world does not operate according to the principles of our universe. Portals and similar phenomena generally prove ineffective here..."

"No, they function perfectly," Hye responded, not with words, but with a demonstration. He casually produced his staff and opened a portal right on the spot, establishing a connection to a location far from their current position.

This portal led to where he had left Legend, and it was indeed time to regroup his allies for the next phase of their plan.

Witnessing Legend and a multitude of warriors transit through the portal left Olana astonished. She became fully convinced of Hye’s capacity to dismantle the various weakened enemy factions and establish complete dominion over them.

As Legend’s forces reassembled under his command, Hye directed the grand army away from the Hescos base. When news arrived that scouts were trailing their movements, Hye remained unperturbed.

He anticipated that numerous eyes would be observing their progress, and he harbored no concern regarding this fact.

"Now," Hye stated after they had marched steadily for nearly five hours away from the Hescos base, addressing his four most trusted and formidable generals, "each of you shall command an army and proceed towards one of these designated locations. Upon completion, dispatch a messenger, and I shall personally visit your site to finalize arrangements, while you continue your campaigns in other sectors..."

Hye proceeded to elaborate on the strategy in meticulous detail to Legend, Sara, Olana, and Luca. The four, fully prepared, immediately set out to select their warriors and vessels.

When they inquired if Hye required any assistance, he simply shook his head. For Hye, summoning such an army multiple times over was a trivial matter. They were all cultivators, many possessing cultivation bases far exceeding those of the local inhabitants.

And so, the war commenced.

Four distinct armies advanced with great speed, struck with even greater swiftness, and subjugated enemy bases with the force of a tsunami. Hye consistently received updates on their successes via messengers, rapidly moving to reinforce captured bases with warriors, ships, and his elite specialized units: the Soulers and Reapers.

To Hye, he appeared as an inexhaustible source of troops and armaments. To observers, the situation presented a grim and disastrous spectacle.

Everyone witnessing Hye’s intentions recognized the inherent futility of his approach. The Outer Battlefield bore witness to a long history of such hubristic individuals who, believing themselves exceptionally powerful and capable, attempted to seize numerous bases without due consideration for consequences.

However, the primary obstacle they invariably encountered was the inherent limitation of their overall forces. Despite originating from powerful races or arriving well-prepared, their numbers were perpetually insufficient to maintain control over so many territories.

Their avarice inevitably led to their downfall.

Yet, this predicament did not trouble Hye.

Hye demonstrated an astonishing ability to conjure vast quantities of warriors, all exuding an imposing and formidable presence to onlookers. Furthermore, he provisioned numerous weapons and ships to bolster the defenses of these newly acquired bases.

From any external perspective, each base appeared meticulously prepared to withstand prolonged sieges and ensure its survival. The observers concluded that these bases were irrevocably lost to humanity.

Nevertheless, many harbored doubts regarding Hye’s capacity to sustain such a relentless offensive for an extended duration. Hye, however, proceeded to shatter these expectations in the ensuing days.

His forces relentlessly continued their assault on base after base, while Hye ceaselessly supplied each with an abundance of warriors and vessels.

Within a mere span of days, he had secured dominion over more than forty bases, a number far exceeding his initial projections. The primary catalyst for this rapid expansion was the palpable fear instilled in other nearby bases by his demonstrated might and strategic prowess.

Consequently, these bases foolishly elected to intervene and support the few defending forces in adjacent territories, only to suffer swift and decisive defeats, thereby jeopardizing their own strongholds.

This pattern persisted throughout the initial three days, compelling Hye to deploy specialized Soulers and Reapers armies to outflank hostile forces and lend aid to the primary four armies engaged in territorial conquest.

The ultimate outcome was Hye’s acquisition of even more bases with greater ease, and a further erosion of control and influence for numerous races and powers within the Outer Battlefield’s welcoming zone.

The situation deteriorated further for them, while Hye’s fortunes improved continuously. Eventually, all factions and races within the Outer Battlefield’s welcoming zone ceased these ill-advised offensives, resigned to observing Hye’s forces systematically capture and consolidate control over increasingly vulnerable bases.

By the fifth day, the initial destroyed base forces commenced their return from the abyss of the Outer Battlefield. Still burning with fury over the fate of their base in this world, they mindlessly assaulted Hye’s troops who were stationed at their own ancestral base. They wrongly perceived this as a typical, foolish endeavor by a recently arrived powerful individual and a contingent from the primary universe.

Little did they realize, they were unknowingly stepping into a meticulously laid trap, engaged in a battle they were destined to lose. The moment the misguided forces within this sector ceased their harassment of his operations, Hye made the strategic decision to deploy his scattered yet formidable warriors to pivotal locations. Their mission: to keep vigilant watch over the entire sector, anticipating any new adversaries that might emerge, ready to vanquish them.

As soon as the first returning forces made their appearance and launched their assault, the nearest and most potent warrior contingent swiftly mobilized, striking them from their rear.

The ensuing conflict was intense, yet the struggle proved to be remarkably brief. The opposing force was utterly annihilated in less than half a day, marking the first defensive engagement by Hye as a resounding and effortless triumph.

He did not even find the opportunity to return and lend aid to this particular battle. By the time his arrival occurred at the designated combat zone, the fight had already concluded, and the base had been successfully secured.
