I'm the King Of Technology Chapter 2 Technological system

Previously on I'm the King Of Technology...
Chu Yi awakens in the body of Landon Barn, a 15-year-old illegitimate prince, after a traumatic car accident. Surrounded by his concerned mother, Kim Obley, and Lucy, his loyal maid and friend, he grapples with the harsh realities of his new life. Facing the disdain of his royal family and the ostracism of being a "gold digger's" son, Landon learns he has been exiled to the desolate fief of Baymard, previously home to misery and famine. Just as he contemplates his future in this foreign world, a mysterious system activates, promising him power to change his fate.

A cold, mechanical voice devoid of any emotion resonated within his mind.

"Ding! Do you wish to Bind with the System?"

"Bind," he replied.

"Ding! Binding of the Technological System is complete. Host is required to strive diligently to introduce advanced technology and development to this world." The response was instantaneous.

Landon stood there dazed, though he felt a surge of internal excitement. "System, why was I chosen?" Landon asked, his eyes blinking with curiosity.

"On Earth, the host possessed an IQ of 260. Currently, the host was the most intelligent deceased individual available from Earth, which permitted the system to initiate binding. Given the host’s superior IQ, accessing the knowledge provided by the system will be more efficient. The system maintains a minimum IQ requirement of 250."

"So I was the smartest dead guy... that actually makes sense... Wa-wait? What? System, are you certain about that?"

"Answering host: Yes. While more intelligent individuals exist on Earth, they remain among the living. Due to the host’s fortunate passing, the host was the most suitable candidate available."

Landon nearly spat out a mouthful of blood. 'Fortunate for who? You or me? ...Regardless, there is no point dwelling on it. What happened, happened.'

"System, how do I operate you?"

"The System will assign tasks based on the current state of your Kingdom. Should the host lack the necessary raw materials for progress, the system shall provide them as rewards. Upon task completion, the host will receive compensation. Furthermore, the host may purchase fundamental equipment from the system to assist in missions."

"I can buy basic equipment?"

"Correct. The host can acquire this equipment using experience, technology, and bonus points. Experience points are earned when the host applies system knowledge to improve the kingdom. Technology points are granted upon the creation of advanced technology. Bonus points are awarded when the host utilizes his own intellect to innovate or resolve significant problems. The system contains unlimited levels; the higher the level, the greater the difficulty."

A translucent screen manifested before Landon, displaying his current status:

">Host name: Landon Barn >Age: 15 >Status: Banished prince of Arcadina (New King of Baymard) >Level: Beginner >Current Situation: Pathetically weak. Should the host remain in the wind for too long, the host will be swept away (Afflicted with Nolat Wisp poison)."

Landon wavered between laughter and tears. 'Was it my father, the King? Or perhaps my half-siblings? Dammit... I just got here and I'm already poisoned? No wonder I felt like I was dying when Mom and Lucy hugged me earlier. I almost suspected those two were secret bodybuilders. To think I was poisoned while being exiled. I was already being kicked out... why couldn't they just leave me alone? Tch. Whoever did this, you better hope this daddy doesn't catch you... heheheh.' Suddenly, a gift-wrapped box appeared on the screen, causing him to jump.

"System Starter Pack: Knowledge on the Introduction to Farming (The host must develop the land before constructing advanced tools for the populace). As an added bonus, the system will fully purge the poison and grant the host strength exceeding that of an average man."

Landon selected the package and immediately felt a torrent of information flood his consciousness. Simultaneously, he felt a surge of vitality as his body strengthened. Once he finished processing the data, he glanced at his wrist in shock. His hand, which had recently resembled a pale ghost, began to transform. As the seconds passed, his skin regained a healthy, human appearance. After inspecting his body, he navigated to the Mission tab. Two primary missions were listed; he tapped the first one.

"Mission: Is your land truly Barren? Utilize your agricultural knowledge to resolve the food crisis. Your empire must possess the strength to safeguard its future technology. For an empire to be powerful, its citizens must be robust. Sub-Mission: Utilize the system to survey and map the territory for future development. Reward: Host will receive knowledge regarding gunpowder and cannon manufacturing. Host will also be granted 100 development points. Deadline: No specific time limit."

Landon found the terms fair. If the people in his lands were starving, they would have no will to work or defend the kingdom. Food was the absolute priority. He then opened the second mission.

"Mission: Accumulate sufficient points to finish Level 1. Requirements: 2,000 experience points and 10,000 technology points. Deadline: No specific time limit. Reward: Level Two Unlocked."

Landon shrugged. 'I’d be working toward that anyway, so it’s not a stressful mission. Though, that's a lot of points... it’ll probably take five or more missions to level up.'

"System, give me a briefing on this world."

"Answering host: The current world is known as Hertfilia, consisting of 9 continents. The continent where the host resides is Pyno. Pyno contains 5 empires: Arcadina, Carona, Deiferus, Terique, and Yodan. Each empire governs at least 15 major cities and 30 minor cities. The host’s current fief is Baymard, the third-largest city in Arcadina."

"System, what is the status of Baymard?" he inquired with interest.

"Baymard spans 6,000 square kilometers. System analysis indicates a current population of 1,582 residents. Standard minor cities in the empire house at least 10,000 people. The host’s empire fails to meet the standards of a major city; it does not even meet the criteria for a minor city. Baymard possesses almost no food reserves. The population relies primarily on fishing, which is insufficient for the total headcount. Winters in Baymard are lethal due to extreme cold."

He felt satisfied with the overview. Now he possessed a clear objective and a plan of action. He took a closer look at the carriage interior. It was clearly dilapidated, appearing more like a vehicle for commoners—not that it bothered him much. Still, he was stunned by the King's treatment of his own flesh and blood. His father hadn't even been willing to spend a decent amount to exile them. 'What a miser,' he thought, shaking his head.

Just as he prepared to step out and find his mother, Lucy entered. She stared at him, blinking rapidly in surprise. 'Brother Landon looks like his old self again,' she thought, her heart swelling with genuine joy.

"Brother Landon, you look much better already. Do you want to eat inside the carriage or join us outside?" she asked with a smile.

"I'll eat outside."

He exited the carriage and followed after Lucy.
