His innocent wife is a dangerous hacker. Chapter 934 Adorable
Previously on His innocent wife is a dangerous hacker....
Bella covered her face, embarrassed. Her cheeks were burning now and she could feel the heat spreading all the way to her ears.
"I said I’m sorry."
"I know."
Leo leaned forward and kissed her forehead again. His lips lingered there, warm and firm.
"So we’re done with that thought."
Bella nodded against his lips.
"Okay."
"Good girl!"
Bella peeked at him from between her fingers. Her eyes were still shiny but the sadness was gone now, replaced by something softer.
Leo pulled back and looked at her.
Then his expression shifted.
"Wait."
Bella blinked.
"What?"
Leo’s eyes narrowed slightly.
"Did you really think I didn’t want you?"
Bella’s face went red again.
"I already said sorry."
"I know." He tilted his head, studying her.
"But I’m trying to understand how you came to that conclusion."
Bella looked away.
"It was stupid."
"I know."
She shot him a look.
Leo raised an eyebrow.
"You’re not helping."
"I’m not trying to help. I’m trying to understand."
Bella sighed and pulled the blanket up to her chin.
"I told you. You stopped touching me."
Leo was quiet for a moment.
Then he leaned closer.
"So if I touch you more, you’ll stop thinking about divorce?"
Bella’s eyes widened.
"That’s not—"
He kissed her cheek.
She froze.
He kissed her other cheek.
Her breath caught.
Then he pulled back and looked at her. "Better?"
Bella stared at him.
Her heart was pounding.
"No," she whispered.
Leo’s eyebrows lifted.
"No?"
She shook her head slowly.
Then, very quietly,
"You missed a spot."
Leo looked at her for a long moment.
Then he leaned in and kissed her lips.
Bella’s eyes fluttered closed.
When he finally pulled back, her cheeks were flushed, and her lips were slightly swollen.
Leo looked at her.
"Better now?"
Bella nodded, dazed.
"Much."
Leo smiled.
"Good girl."
He pulled her into his arms and settled her against his chest. "No more divorce talk."
Bella snuggled against him.
"No more divorce talk."
"Mmm."
She could feel his heartbeat against her cheek, steady and strong.
After a moment, she mumbled,
"I love you."
Leo kissed the top of her head.
"I love you too."
She closed her eyes.
Then, very softly,
"Even when I’m being silly?"
Leo chuckled.
"Especially when you’re being silly."
Bella smiled against his chest.
Later, when Bella was half asleep, she heard Leo murmur something above her head.
"You know I was just trying to be careful, right?"
She nodded sleepily.
"I know."
"I wasn’t rejecting you."
"I know."
"I would never—"
She reached up and pressed her fingers against his lips.
"Leo."
He stopped.
"Shut up and sleep."
He kissed her fingers.
"Fine."

Bella was now in the final stage of her pregnancy and the difference from those difficult early months was almost unbelievable.
Her tummy had grown beautifully round and large, making it impossible for her to hide the fact that their little baby would soon be coming into the world. She moved differently now, like slower, more carefully, one hand always resting against the curve of her stomach as though she was constantly protecting the little life inside her.
The nausea and constant exhaustion that had made the beginning of her pregnancy so difficult had eased considerably.
Although she still became tired easily, there was now a soft glow to her face that made her look even more beautiful than before. Her skin was brighter, her eyes were warmer and there was a peacefulness about her that hadn’t been there in those first difficult weeks.
Leo, unfortunately, had developed a completely ridiculous obsession with her tummy.
He took pictures of it every single day.
Sometimes Bella would be sitting on the sofa, peacefully watching television, when she would suddenly hear the familiar sound of his phone camera.
Click.
She would slowly turn her head.
"Leo."
.
Another picture.
"Stop taking pictures of me."
.
"Leo!"
He would simply lower the phone with an innocent expression. His gray eyes would be wide and completely unapologetic, like a child caught doing something he knew he shouldn’t but couldn’t bring himself to regret.
"What?"
"You just took another picture!"
"I did so what?" He said, and then he looked down at the picture he had taken. His thumb moved across the screen as he examined it, tilting his head slightly. "Hmm. This one is good."
Bella would stare at him in disbelief, her mouth opening and closing.
His entire phone was practically filled with photographs of her now. Bella eating. Bella sleeping. Bella holding her tummy. Bella standing near the window with the sunlight catching her hair. Bella laughing. Bella looking annoyed at him. Bella wearing different dresses. And, most importantly, Bella’s growing tummy from every possible angle.
He had even created an entire album for them.
Bella had accidentally seen it once.
There were hundreds of pictures. Hundreds.
She had stared at the screen in disbelief, her finger scrolling and scrolling and scrolling. They just kept going.
"Do you have anything else on your phone?"
Leo had looked completely serious. Not a single trace of embarrassment on his face.
"Of course."
She had relaxed, relieved.
"Good good."
"My work."
Bella had rolled her eyes so hard she nearly saw the back of her own head.
But Leo couldn’t help it. He was fascinated by the way her tummy had grown, knowing that their little baby was getting closer and closer to meeting them. Every time he looked at Bella, his eyes would naturally drift toward her stomach and he would find himself smiling without even realizing it.
And somehow, her temper had become even more entertaining to him.
Bella could still become irritated over the smallest things. If someone moved her favorite cushion, she would complain loudly until it was returned to its proper place. If the kitchen prepared something she didn’t feel like eating, she would immediately make a face and push the plate away.
If Leo teased her at the wrong moment, she would glare at him with enough force to make even one of his guards reconsider their life choices.
But instead of being bothered by it, Leo found her increasingly adorable.
