His innocent wife is a dangerous hacker. Chapter 910 Eli is my dear son

Bella looked away. Her hand was trembling slightly in his grip.
Leo noticed.
"Does that scare you?" he asked softly.
Bella was quiet for a moment. Then she turned back to him.
"A little," she admitted.
Leo nodded without saying anything.
He let go of her hand and leaned back in his seat. His eyes drifted toward the window again.
"Jack is going to learn something today," he said. "He is going to learn that there are consequences for threatening the people I love. He is going to learn that the world is full of monsters. And he just happened to walk into the territory of one of the worst."
A dark smile crossed his face.
"And I am going to enjoy every second of it."
And the driver sitting in front, driving the car, shivered badly. His hands tightened on the steering wheel and he kept his eyes fixed straight ahead, pretending he had heard nothing.

"Oh my... my..."
Jack’s eyes widened the moment he stepped through the enormous entrance of the Moretti mansion. For several seconds, he simply stood there, unable to hide the greed flashing across his face as he looked around.
The mansion was far larger than he had imagined.
Tall windows stretched across the elegant exterior, and the vast grounds surrounding the house seemed to go on endlessly. Beautiful gardens spread on both sides, carefully maintained lawns stretching beneath the sky with mature trees, flower beds, stone pathways and secluded corners disappearing beyond his immediate view.
Jack’s gaze moved slowly across the property.
How much land do they own?
The thought made his pulse quicken.
This wasn’t merely an expensive house.
The land alone must have been worth a fortune.
He swallowed, his imagination already running ahead of him.
And these people are going to negotiate with me privately...
His confidence grew.
Leo had deliberately asked Jay to take Eli to an amusement park for the afternoon, ensuring that the little boy wouldn’t be present during this conversation. That meant there was no Eli in the mansion today, no unnecessary distractions, and no reason for anyone else to interfere.
Inside the enormous house were only Leo, Bella, Jack, several guards and a few members of the household staff.
Jack looked around once more.
He still couldn’t believe he was actually standing inside a place like this.
Eventually, he was led into a spacious sitting room.
Bella sat beside Leo while Jack remained standing for a moment before finally taking the seat opposite them.
Leo leaned back comfortably, his expression impossible to read.
Bella looked at Jack calmly.
"So," she said softly, " Tell us what exactly you are doing by stalking my son."
Jack immediately put on a sorrowful expression.
He lowered his head and released a dramatic sigh.
"Let me explain..."
Neither Leo nor Bella interrupted.
Jack looked at them with fake sadness.
"I wasn’t stalking my own son."
Bella’s eyes narrowed slightly.
Jack continued quickly.
"I was simply doing my job. I had no idea Eli was studying here until I happened to see him. Then I realized..."
His voice trembled.
"...that the little boy I had been separated from was actually here."
He wiped the corner of his eye, forcing out a few tears.
"Eli is my dear son."
Bella remained silent.
Jack’s gaze wandered briefly around the luxurious room before returning to them.
"When I discovered that he had been adopted, I was shocked at first. But then I became happy for him. He is living such a wonderful life now."
His voice became increasingly emotional.
"But I’m still his father."
He pressed a hand against his chest. "I want my son."
A tear rolled down his cheek.
"I want him so badly."
He lowered his face as though overcome with emotion. But behind the performance, his mind was already calculating.
They have everything.
Money...Property and Influence and they want this matter kept private.
A tiny smile almost appeared at the corner of his mouth before he quickly concealed it.
Jack believed he had finally brought himself into the perfect position.
He only had to make them believe that he wanted his son badly enough.
Then he could name his price.
"So where were you when he was living in the orphanage alone?" Bella asked coldly.
Her voice was calm but there was no softness in it.
Jack’s expression faltered for the briefest moment. His eyes flickered, and his mouth opened slightly, as though he hadn’t expected the question. Then he immediately lowered his eyes and put on another sorrowful expression.
"Ohhh..." he sighed heavily, his shoulders slumping. "I was helpless."
Bella’s eyes narrowed.
"I was so poor that I couldn’t provide for him," Jack continued, rubbing his hands together as though remembering years of hardship. "What could I have done? Eli was better off at the orphanage."
He gave a sad little smile, the kind that was meant to look regretful but only made him look pathetic.
"I heard it was run by a wealthy couple. They took good care of the children. They gave them proper clothes, good food, everything they needed. I even heard the things they provided were very high quality."
He looked toward Bella, his eyes searching her face for any sign of sympathy.
"So I thought my Eli would be happier there than with me."
Bella stared at him without expression. Her face was like stone.
Jack continued, apparently convinced that his performance was working. His voice grew more confident as though he had rehearsed this speech many times.
"Money is everything nowadays," he said with a helpless sigh. "I couldn’t even properly provide for myself. How was I supposed to provide for my son?"
He pressed a hand against his chest, right over his heart, as though the memory still pained him.
"I had no choice."
Bella’s fingers slowly curled against the armrest. Her knuckles turned white.
Leo remained silent beside her. His face gave away almost nothing but his eyes had become cold enough to make the guards standing nearby instinctively remain alert. They had seen that look before. They knew what it meant.
Jack, however, mistook their silence for uncertainty. He took it as a sign that his words were having an effect.
He lowered his voice and continued his performance.
"I know I wasn’t able to give Eli the life he deserved before. But now that I know where he is, I can’t simply stay away from him."
