His innocent wife is a dangerous hacker. Chapter 834 I want to marry him
Meanwhile, inside Bella and Leo’s room, the peaceful silence was broken only by the faint sound of Leo scrolling through his phone, his expression calm and unreadable as always, his sharp eyes fixed on the screen as if nothing in the world could distract him.
Unfortunately for him, he had forgotten that his wife was far more stubborn than any business rival he had ever defeated.
Bella sang his name in the sweetest voice possible as she wrapped both of her arms tightly around him from behind, resting her soft cheek against his broad shoulder. She swayed him gently from side to side like a child trying to convince her favorite person. "Leo... Leo... Leooo... Listen to me. Jay Jay is your cute little brother. You should talk to him. I know he made a mistake, but everyone makes mistakes. He is really, really sad."
Leo’s thumb continued moving across his phone screen without the slightest pause. His face remained completely expressionless, making it impossible to tell whether he was even listening.
Bella narrowed her eyes at him before puffing out her cheeks dramatically.
"Please?" she whispered, stretching the word as adorably as she could.
She leaned closer and planted a soft kiss on his right cheek.
Nothing.
Not even a blink.
Bella blinked in disbelief before huffing quietly.
"Oh? So that’s how you want to play?"
She leaned over to his other side and kissed his left cheek this time, lingering for an extra second.
Still nothing.
Leo continued staring at his phone as though she had merely brushed against the wind.
Bella slowly pulled back, staring at the side of his handsome face with narrowed eyes. She knew him too well. The corners of his lips were almost impossible to read, but she noticed the tiniest movement near his jaw.
He was pretending.
Bella accused, poking his firm cheek with one finger. "You are acting."
No response.
She poked him again.
"Cold CEO."
Poke.
"Mean husband."
Poke.
"Very scary..."
Poke.
"...but secretly soft."
The moment those words left her mouth, Leo finally stopped scrolling.
Bella’s bright eyes sparkled instantly.
Bella exclaimed proudly, grinning from ear to ear as if she had just won the greatest battle of her life. "I knew it!"
Leo slowly placed his phone beside him before turning his head just enough to look at her. His dark eyes met hers with their usual calm intensity.
"You are very noisy," Leo said.
Bella smiled innocently. "But you like me."
"..."
"You love me."
"..."
"You think I’m the cutest wife in the whole world."
Leo simply looked at her.
Bella giggled before happily answering herself. "I know, I know."
A faint sigh escaped Leo’s lips. Before Bella could tease him again, his large hand suddenly slipped around her waist and effortlessly pulled her over his lap.
Bella let out a tiny squeal of surprise as she landed facing him, both of her hands instinctively resting against his chest.
"H-Hey..."
Leo said quietly, his deep voice calm yet carrying a dangerous gentleness. "So, you’ve spent the last ten minutes trying to convince me to forgive my brother."
Bella nodded quickly. "Yes."
"And not one minute trying to spoil your husband," Leo said.
Bella blinked.
Then she laughed so hard that her shoulders shook.
"You are jealous of Jay Jay?" she asked.
Leo replied flatly. "I didn’t say that."
"You absolutely did," Bella insisted.
"I didn’t," Leo said.
"You did," Bella said.
Leo stared at her for several silent seconds before suddenly cupping her face with both hands.
"If you have this much energy..." he murmured, his forehead gently touching hers, "...use it on me."
Bella’s heartbeat skipped.
His voice was low, warm, and dangerously gentle, always making butterflies explode inside her stomach.
She smiled so brightly that her eyes curved into little crescents before wrapping both arms around his neck.
"Fine."
She leaned forward and kissed the tip of his nose.
Then his forehead.
Then one cheek.
Then the other.
Finally, she pressed a lingering kiss against his lips, soft and filled with all the affection she carried in her heart.
When she slowly pulled away, Leo’s cold eyes had softened completely.
Bella whispered proudly while gently rubbing their noses together. "There. Now my husband has received enough love."
Leo looked at her for a long moment before the smallest smile, so rare that almost no one else in the world would ever witness it, appeared on his lips.
"Not enough," Leo said.
Bella’s eyes widened. "What?"
Before she could ask another question, Leo wrapped one arm firmly around her waist and pulled her impossibly closer, making her gasp as her face buried against his chest.
Leo said quietly. "You still owe me."
Bella looked up with an innocent expression. "How much?"
Leo lowered his head until only a tiny distance remained between their lips.
"A lifetime."
Bella’s heart skipped wildly.
A deep blush rushed across her cheeks until her entire face turned as red as a ripe tomato. She looked so adorably flustered that even she couldn’t hide it. Her bright eyes darted everywhere except toward him, and she nervously played with the collar of his shirt, suddenly finding it much more interesting than meeting his gaze.
Leo watched her quietly before a soft chuckle escaped his lips.
It was low, rich, and incredibly rare.
Seeing his usually cold and unreadable face soften into genuine amusement only made Bella’s face grow even hotter.
Bella mumbled, hiding half of her face against his chest. "W-Why are you laughing?"
Leo said softly. "You blush too easily."
Bella protested. "I do not."
"You do," Leo said.
"I don’t," Bella insisted.
Leo simply raised an eyebrow.
Bella let out a tiny, defeated puff before burying her face completely against him.
"I’m not talking to you..."
His hand gently slid through her silky hair, his fingers brushing the strands with surprising tenderness.
"You already are," Leo said.
Bella stayed quiet for a moment before peeking up at him with shining eyes.
Leo asked calmly, lightly stroking her cheek with his thumb. "So, you want me to forgive Jay?"
Bella nodded immediately without the slightest hesitation. "Mm-hmm."
"But he deserves to be punished," Leo said with cold eyes.
Bella pouted, her soft lips forming the cutest little frown. "He already punished himself enough. Haven’t you seen his face? He looks like someone stole all his happiness." She gently held Leo’s hand between both of hers, her thumbs absentmindedly rubbing over his fingers. "Jay Jay is your little brother. He loves you so much, Leo. He’s been walking around the house looking so guilty, and every time someone mentions you, his shoulders droop even more."
She looked into Leo’s eyes, her own filled with sincerity.
"I don’t like seeing my family sad."
Leo corrected quietly. "Our family."
Bella froze for a second before the brightest smile spread across her face.
Bella repeated softly, her voice overflowing with happiness. "Our family."
Leo watched the smile bloom on her lips, and for a brief moment, all the anger he had been carrying toward Jay felt strangely insignificant compared to the woman sitting comfortably in his arms.
Bella reached up and gently cupped his face.
"Please?" she whispered again. "Forgive him... not because he deserves it, but because your heart deserves peace. And..." she smiled sheepishly, "...because I miss seeing you and Jay teasing each other. The house feels too quiet without it."
Leo remained silent for several long moments, his sharp eyes studying every tiny expression on her face.
Finally, he let out a slow breath.
"You always know exactly how to make me surrender," Leo said.
Bella’s eyes sparkled. "Does that mean..."
Leo interrupted, gently pinching her rosy cheek. "It means I’ll try to talk to him."
Bella gasped happily before throwing both arms around his neck with so much excitement that she nearly knocked him backward.
"Really?" she asked.
"Really," Leo confirmed.
Before he could say another word, Bella showered his face with countless tiny kisses, laughing between each one.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! My husband is the best! The sweetest! The most handsome! The kindest!"
Leo sighed as though he were completely helpless against her.
"...You’re exaggerating."
Bella shook her head firmly before pressing one last kiss to his forehead.
"No."
She smiled with complete certainty.
"I’m simply telling the truth."

The next morning, the entire family gathered around the long dining table as sunlight poured through the tall windows, filling the mansion with a peaceful golden glow. Fresh coffee, warm pastries, fruit, and breakfast dishes covered the table, and for a brief moment, everything felt perfectly ordinary.
That peaceful moment lasted exactly three seconds.
Jay suddenly cleared his throat.
"I have something important to say."
Everyone looked up.
Jace, sitting beside him, immediately had a bad feeling.
Jay took a deep breath before declaring with complete confidence,
"Mom, Dad... I love Jace. I want to marry him."
.
Utter.
Complete.
.
Lina, who was usually so elegant and composed that almost nothing could surprise her, froze with her teacup halfway to her lips. A flicker of genuine shock crossed her beautiful face, a sight so rare that everyone unconsciously stared at her instead of Jay.
Across the table, Alessandro nearly dropped the newspaper he was reading.
"What...?"
His eyes slowly moved from Jay... to Jace... then back to Jay again.
Nonna gasped so dramatically that her mouth fell wide open.
She remained frozen in that position for several seconds.
An entire egg could probably fit inside her mouth..
"You...you!!" Alessandro pointed at his son in shock.
