Demons are pounding on the doors of the throne room, demanding entry. Yasenia and her companions discover the room is a sealing formation and that the throne is its core. They devise a plan to open a passage beneath the throne, tricking the demons into believing they are trapped and will be opening the doors themselves. As they descend into the newly opened passage, Yasenia reflects on the treasures within and the interference of the demons.

When Jian Xinlin arrived, she noticed several groups. After receiving Yasenia’s message, Jian Xinlin was not naive enough to think that Yasenia only had goodwill toward them. She brought them into the matter of the strongest treasure, which would most likely cover for them as well.

Xinlin therefore called in all the nearby people she knew and told them about the treasure publicly. It didn’t take long for the information to spread like wildfire.

Most of the groups were looking through the opened doors, which caused Xinlin to feel curious. She flashed forward, floating in the air as she looked inside.

There, the Demon group was fighting tooth and nail against four guardian statues. The guardian statues moved so fast that even Xinlin struggled to follow. ‘Hehe. Did they activate a trap formation or something similar?’

Although the statues were strong, there were far too many demons and demonic practitioners. It didn’t take long for the first to fall, and then the rest followed. Before that happened, though, Xinlin looked around and spoke.

“Let’s go and help.”

Those who took her as the leader were confused, but they didn’t refute her publicly. Xinlin explained to the leaders through Spiritual Sense.

‘If they kill the statues without help, they will claim that they have the right to get the treasure.’

They instantly understood what she was insinuating, so they didn’t complain. The Divines and other Righteous Sects were not stupid.

With the combined barrage of all the experts, the four guardians fell within minutes. Right after, the Demons looked toward the opened throne with a touch of irritation. “The Dravory Family is already down there. Let’s go quickly before they ransack everything for themselves.”

Hearing his words, Isla and Jaxon both reacted, looking over with thoughtful expressions.

Everyone moved swiftly, descending the stairs and reaching a very wide and open location. The place was less like a cave and more like its own dimension. A dark sky, red soil, and an endless flatland.

The only reason everyone’s gaze was locked in one direction was the massive altar, with gargantuan armor that dwarfed even mountains, chained to equally large pillars.

In this massive expanse of nothingness, the armor’s intricate yet devilish design stood out majestically. With little else in the zone, everyone decided to move over.

Once they arrived, they noticed a group of about 350 people gathered, looking up with pondering expressions. At first, they didn't recognize them because there was no dragon among them, but soon they realized it was the Dravory Clan.

The Half-Step Demon Monarch, who arrived first, descended before them, his massive, over five-meter-tall body imposing and billowing with a powerful aura. “Who among you is Yasenia Dravory?”

Yasenia turned her head and stepped forward, looking up at him. “Hello, Senior. I hope you didn’t have trouble coming down. It took us quite a while to open the passageway here.”

The Half-Step snorted. “Was it fun activating the trap above for us to fall into? Some of us almost died!”

Yasenia blinked. “I am sorry, but didn’t I warn you?”

She reached into her cleavage and pulled out the pendant that had been hidden between her breasts. “This is the piece of equipment that helps us not be targeted by these formations. We thought you might’ve some trouble as well, so here.”

Yasenia clinked a spatial ring up, and the Demon caught it. Yasenia smiled faintly. “We created a few extra for your group. We didn’t know how many of you were there, as the formation blocked Spiritual Sense. Therefore, we could only make 1193.”

The Demon was speechless. What else could he say? Even if he wanted to be unreasonable, Yasenia had basically laid out everything as it was. Even he, with a Demon species propensity to get revenge for every little grievance, felt pacified.

“Hm… I won’t be unreasonable this time around, then.”

After taking the pendants, he glanced around and asked. “Was there any other treasure besides that massive armor?”

“Nothing.” Yasenia sighed, showing a touch of irritation. “I thought we would be able to bag at least a few of the smaller treasures, those your larger powers would ignore, but there is only that big armor. We don’t dare approach it. Too strong a treasure for our little Dravory Family to hold.”

The Demon laughed and nodded. “Alright. I’ll trust you. Your expression seems quite honest. Any idea about this armor?”

Yasenia pondered, rubbing her chin. “Sealed armor. It has 33 chains in total. Its aura is that of an unknown-level treasure. Without unsealing it, we won’t be able to know anything else. As for its origins… I can’t tell. It feels both demonic yet sacred. It’s strange.”

The Half-Step Demon and everyone else were listening with rapt attention. They were interested, but at the same time, Yasenia’s voice was truly pleasant.

Jian Xinlin descended to her side as Yasenia spoke, lifting her hand to pat her shoulder. Yasenia turned and smiled. “Senior, it’s good to see you here. What do you think? Quite the treasure, isn’t it?”

Xinlin chuckled and looked up at the giant armor. “It is. Also, I doubt any of us fits inside.”

Yasenia sighed. “Too big for my human form, too small for my dragon form. Truly, an item I am not destined for.”

Meanwhile, Jaxon and Isla both were looking not only at Yasenia, but also at Tatyana, Angel, Kali, Cecile, Andrea, and Evelyn. They could naturally tell who they were, and although their looks had become incomparably more beautiful than before, their essence remained the same.

Their faces were filled with disbelief as they felt the girls' auras. All of them felt incredibly monstrous, comparable to some of the elders they usually looked up to with respect.

How ridiculous was that? The individuals they thought they left behind were now standing and talking with their Masters and Seniors on an equal footing.

Jaxon wanted to speak up, but he knew better than that. Even if he was a genius, that was the biggest label he had. A genius that didn’t mature and was killed was the same as spoiled food.

It was a shame, but you had to throw it in the garbage and forget about it.

Isla was even calmer than Jaxon. ‘Our last encounter didn't end on the best of terms.’

Even if it was something that happened that long ago, Isla wasn't optimistic enough to think Yasenia had forgotten. Honestly, even Isla regretted her attitude back then.

As a recently transformed Divine, a bundle of jealousy, superiority, and other powerful emotions made her arrogance and pettiness flare up. It was similar to Dragon Instinct, but for her Divine species.

As Isla expected, even knowing that explanation, Yasenia wouldn’t care much. Back then, Isla tried to screw her over, and the consequences would’ve been dire if she wasn’t strong enough.

Still, Yasenia, at least for now, would not go out of her way to mess with Isla or Jaxon. They were not individuals who could threaten them, and facing them would even lower her current standing.

Even when young, Yasenia was interacting with the true powerhouses. If she started arguing with “juniors,” people would look at her like one. So, for now, it was best to act as if they didn’t know.

Feeling it was the right time, Yasenia decided to step back and let the others approach and investigate the place. “Anyway, Senior Xinlin and Lord Demon Monarch should go ahead and investigate. We stayed behind here just to take a look, nothing else.”

They nodded, and everyone began looking for a way to unchain the armor and take it. As for who would get it later… That was still to be seen.

Meanwhile, Yasenia stepped back with the others and sat at a certain distance. Many looked in their direction, some with curiosity, others with more. Still, it didn’t bother her.

Some groups approached to make conversation, and Yasenia didn’t turn them away. They had to make connections, so they welcomed different people, and all the girls participated. Some girls spoke with madams. Others spoke with Young Masters—not the wrong kind. Others conversed with Young Ladies.

Since only the Half-Steps and Level Nines were participating, the rest were just building connections. Moreover, since Yasenia had taken her humanoid form—expecting this situation in advance—she managed to speak with quite a few people and leave good impressions.

In her head, though, she looked at the armor with a funny look. ‘Hehe. We managed to imprint the formation on the armor. It was much easier, and we even hid it inside its circuits. So it’s undetectable to almost anyone unless they go out of their way to examine the circuits.’

Did people do that with the treasures they got?

Usually, they didn’t. Harmful formations would be easy to feel, and going out of your way to leave a treasure only to have it discovered several million years later and used to screw someone over was… too much.

Therefore, Yasenia was convinced that the formation they placed on it would stay on it. Whoever got it, wherever it went, they would be able to follow its trail easily.

Jian Xinlin spoke up. “So. How do you plan on getting it?”

Someone suggested. “Everyone below 2,000 years old participates in a tournament-style competition. Whoever wins it gets it for their power. Isn’t it better than us fighting? Just have the juniors have a go.”

Jian Xinlin chuckled. “Rejected. If we do that, the Dravory Family will get the armor. It’s not that I wouldn’t agree with it, but I am sure all of you would be unconvinced and later try some tricks to get it.”

The one who suggested it was a Divine, and he frowned at his comment. “Are you saying that no one below 2,000 years old can defeat the Dravory Clan juniors?”

Xinlin shrugged. “Yes. That’s what I am saying. So, if you’ve understood, let’s think of another method.”

The Divine wanted to continue speaking, but Isla’s master stopped him. “Don’t. She is right. If what Isla told us is the truth, then Sect Master Jian’s words are worth taking into account.”

Surprisingly, the Demon Monarch who spoke with Yasenia said the same. “Jaxon also said something similar, so I agree. Let’s use another method.”

Everyone who didn’t know became curious, but no one spoke up. First of all, speaking up like that would cause Yasenia to be on their wrong side. It was never a good idea to be on the bad side of a protected talent.

Once they grew, they could flip Heaven upside down.

Second of all, they didn’t want to be on their bad side because their ability to create those formation pendants showed their immediate value, not just their future potential.

So they didn’t speak about it, and Yasenia noticed, her lips arching slightly. The Young Ladies secretly peeking swooned silently, while some Young Masters had to look away, or else their bodies would react beyond their control.
