Demons and Divines, initially enemies, formed an uneasy alliance to escape a dangerous labyrinth. Isla, suspecting a powerful figure from the Dravory family might be connected to the feared Lady Death Empress, alerted a Half-Step Divine, prompting their cooperation. After blasting through the labyrinth's ceiling, they reunited with those who had already entered the palace, finding the atmosphere tense. Meanwhile, Jaxon, a formidable demon, secured a breeding agreement by defeating a rival's junior, while another demon group interrogated Lady Raon about the Dravory family's unique pendants that bypass traps. In the palace, Yasenia, in dragon form, struggled to locate a hidden treasure, sensing its presence from multiple illogical locations.

When the formation activated, a whole sphere of light emerged from it. The sphere's edge seeped like liquid into the ground's cracks, lighting up a secret formation that gorgeously covered the whole place.

The pattern followed, diving right at the middle of the ceiling and rushing upward. Yasenia, who was still clinging to the ceiling, felt the pulse pass through her claws. “Hm~? The scent has become stronger?”

Letting go, Yasenia fell down and used her wings to cushion the fall. Her claws touched the ground, right in front of the throne.

Tatyana looked at everything thoughtfully as the last parts of the formation suddenly converged toward the four statues at the sides. “...Ah. So that’s how it is.”

Kali asked, curious. “Did you get something?”

“I did.” Tatyana pointed at the entire throne room and chuckled. “This throne room is not a room where the ruler sat to lead people… This room is a sealing formation in on itself. Thankfully, we have our pendants. Otherwise, those four statues would’ve caused us tremendous trouble.”

Yasenia tilted her head, observing the lights that illuminated the throne. “Sealing formation? Also, the throne’s energy signature seems to have a converging factor in it.”

Angel blinked. “That’s because it is the formation’s core.”

That was good news. One of the easiest ways to destroy a formation was breaking its core. If you could find it and then further destroy it, 99.9% of the formations would be instantly destroyed on the spot, their effects scattered.

Yasenia smirked, raising her claw and gathering celestial energy on it. “So, I destroy it?”

“No.” Tatyana stopped her quickly. “If you destroy that, we will be in trouble. I can’t really tell right now, but… there is something off with it.”

BANG! BANG! BANG!

The loud sounds startled them, and they turned around. Anna closed her eyes for a moment and spoke in a serious tone. “Young Miss, there is a group of Demons outside. They are slamming the door and trying to open it. Our formation won’t last for a long time.”

Yasenia frowned. “Should we use the Demon Suppressing formation?”

Tatyana shook her head. “I wouldn’t recommend it. They are stronger than the incubi. We would probably win eventually, but we might need to use two of our three formations left.”

Yasenia looked around. “Let’s try to open this quickly then. We can always lie and say that we were trapped inside. They can’t spread their Spiritual Sense inside, right?”

Anna nodded. “The formation has anti-spying components. I am sure they can’t see us.”

“Madam Dravory! Open the doors!”

Yasenia blinked twice and glanced at Anna, who was showing a bewildered look. Glancing at the formation controls, Anna shook her head. “They have not breached it, Young Miss. The formation is working perfectly.”

Valeria spoke lightly. “There are more people who know we’ve come this way.”

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Yasenia approached the doors and spoke up. “I don’t know who you are, but we are trapped inside. We can’t open the doors.”

The other side stopped pounding for a second and then spoke in a sneering tone. “Then, you wouldn’t mind if we break this down, right?”

Her response was different from what they expected. “Yes! Please make sure to break through quickly. We don’t know when the traps inside will trigger.”

Outside, the Half-Step demon paused. He looked around, and everyone shrugged or shook their heads. Their meaning was clear: they couldn’t tell whether Yasenia was lying.

Therefore, the demon confirmed one more time. “We are going to break through, then. No complaints, right?”

“Yes! Go ahead! We’ll try the same from our end.

While Yasenia spoke with them, the rest of the people inspected the formations. Tatyana glanced around, trying to recall the millions of formations she had seen throughout her life and find similarities.

“I need to deactivate the formation leading to the golems… but how?”

Angel suddenly asked, her gaze fixed toward the wall. “Tatyana, what about there? The formations divide. Also, Yasenia said that she can smell the treasure everywhere, right? Isn’t that because the treasure’s aura has seeped into the sealing formation and is leaking through the nodes? That would also explain why she smells it the strongest around the throne.”

Tatyana’s eyes flashed. “That’s it. Great job, Angel.”

Her energy burst out, manipulating everything around her. Meanwhile, Shang Qinqin spoke to Yasenia. “Yasenia, shouldn’t we inform Jian Xinlin? Our chances of getting the armor are low. Asking for Sect Master Xinlin and the others to come will also help us against the demons. Moreover, the treasure might be easier to track if more people are involved.”

Yasenia glanced at Qinqin and smiled. “Alright. I like that. Let’s do that.”

Qinqin smiled brightly, and Yasenia chuckled, patting her head with her tail.

Beside them, the door continued to bang loudly.

Tatyana quickly worked to isolate the guardians from the sealing formation, and while doing so, Andrea looked at Mirrory. “There won’t be another group of sealed people inside, right?”

Mirrory laughed. “Not that I can sense. Don’t worry, even if they come out, don’t we have countermeasures?”

Andrea sighed and looked on. Tatyana raised her voice as her hands flickered in the air. “Yasenia, destroy the throne with your Celestial Energy! I think it will be best to do the trick.”

Yasenia turned her head and took a deep breath. The girls tensed up, their eyes widening. Tatyana’s eyebrow twitched as well, wondering if Yasenia had gone crazy and wanted to blast this whole place apart.

Thankfully, Yasenia wasn't trying to unleash her powerful [Celestial Dragon Breath]. Instead, she concentrated the energy and puffed with pursed lips.

A single blue line connected with the throne, and at the same time, Tatyana clenched her fingers and pulled. “Open!”

BOOM!

The throne exploded, and the formations lit up brightly for a second. The four guardians lowered their heads, making everyone break into a cold sweat.

Thankfully, it was a momentary movement, not a full-on activation. The center of the massive royal chamber shook, and energy rushed toward the place where the throne had been.

With a bright burst of light, a passage opened for the first time in who knows how long. The passage was ancient and untidied, and even the stairs leading to it were semi-collapsed from the passage of time.

“Let’s go down, quickly. Can we close the passage, Tatyana?”

“We can’t. The formation is deactivated until we go down. If we reactivate it, the guardians will move. So, our best move is to go down as is.”

Yasenia’s eyes flashed with cunning. “Lord Demon Monarch! We’ve managed to find a secret passage that leads somewhere away from the room. We will go down through it, do not rush as we are safe and sound.”

The Half-Step demon outside gritted his sharp teeth. “Did you deceive me, Madam Dravory?”

“I have not. There is a formation inside as well, and we’ve taken quite a while to crack it down. Be careful when you enter; we are wearing pendants that prevent traps from activating. You might encounter trouble if you follow us.”

The Half-Step demon's eyebrow twitched. Haven’t they come here to ask for those pendants? At least it showed that Yasenia was truly not hiding anything from them, making her words much more trustworthy.

“Understood. Be careful.”

Yasenia answered back. “Same for you.”

With those words, Yasenia and the others dove inside.

As they did, it wasn’t just Xinlin. Many others were rushing in this chamber’s direction after Yasenia had communicated with Xinlin and told her that the main treasure was in this area and demons were about to snatch it.

It was a white lie, but something that made everyone converge through secret channels toward the royal chamber. For Yasenia, that was the ideal outcome.

She still had some regrets. ‘If it hadn’t been for the demons, I would’ve managed to snatch both treasures without anyone noticing. Sigh.’

She felt greedy and even thought of taking the armor, then claiming the chamber inside was empty. Perhaps swapping it with some of the treasures in her ring would let her pass it off as a false treasure trove.

However, she wasn’t confident she could deceive everyone. At least revealing the armor would let her keep the halberd hidden.

Seeing Yasenia’s expression, Andrea could tell exactly what she was thinking. “A weapon is more important than armor. Moreover, my armor was forged with your horns and scales as the main material. I feel pretty well-protected as I am.”

Yasenia knew that her Darling was trying to comfort her, so she slipped her head between Andrea’s legs and forced her to sit on her wide back. “Alright. As long as darling says it. Still, I won’t give up easily.”

Andrea laughed and patted Yasenia’s long neck as they quickly flew down toward the sealed chamber.

Meanwhile, outside, Jaxon was frowning while looking at the tightly shut door. It wasn’t that he had never heard beautiful voices, but Yasenia’s was just too distinctive. It was mellow, seductive, and lingered in your ears, making them itch pleasurably.

It was a memorable voice even if you heard it just once.

Therefore, it made the demon pause and ponder. Where had he ever heard such a beautiful voice? It was impossible he’d forget the appearance of the owner of a voice so beautiful it caused some of his peers to stare blankly at the door.

A demon by his side joked. “Oh? Even our top genius can get mesmerized by someone’s charm? As expected, they don’t call Madam Dravory the new contender for the number one beauty of the continent for nothing.”

“Dravory…?” It finally clicked. “Yasenia Dravory?”

The demon nodded. “I heard that’s her full name, yes.”

Jaxon’s face was full of disbelief at first. “Yasenia Dravory? A dragon with blue scales and a Sun and Moon in her wings? Is her human form tall, curvy, with midnight black hair and golden eyes?”

His questions were clearly abnormal, and a nearby high-level Demon Monarch asked. “Do you know her?”

Jaxon showed an angry yet slightly lustful look. “Of course I know her! She was the one who scammed me of my treasure, but at the same time, the best quality woman I’ve ever seen, even when compared to Isla.”

“Huh?”

That sentence even caught the attention of the Half-Step. “How old is she?”

“Ha? Yasenia is younger than me by at least 50 years. Why?”

Every demon who knew Yasenia’s level and strength became utterly silent. “...You. Are you lying? This is no joking matter if you are.”

Jaxon realized the oddity in everyone’s expression and asked back, confused. “What’s wrong with it? She is 50 years younger than I am, at least. That’s the truth.”

The Half-Step asked. “Are you saying that a Level Five Mythical Core Beast of a Dragon Species is around 250 years old?”

This time, it was Jaxon’s turn to ask back, his voice almost cracking. “W-What level did you say?”

“She is a Level Five Mythical Core Beast, Jaxon. One strong enough to fight at least a Level Seven Demon Monarch.”

Jaxon’s reddish colored skin paled. “...W-What?”

Their conversation, though, was suddenly cut off by the arrival of countless experts rushing their way.
