Heaven, Earth, Me Chapter 1712. Meeting an Acquaintance.
Previously on Heaven, Earth, Me...
The location they arrived at was a wide mountain. It was jagged, with many pointed edges, large depressions, and even fissures within it. It felt less like a single peak and more like a stack of rocks that had been jumbled into an intimidating terrain.
These were called the [Fang Pierce Mountain Range], and it was filled with similar mountains and deep cliffs.
Even if Yasenia transformed into her dragon form, these mountains would still look somewhat large in comparison. Locals would probably consider them [Sky Peaks], not mountains.
Looking at them, Yasenia couldn’t help but sigh. "Some natural structures truly are beyond comprehension. How do these massive mountains even form?"
Tatyana answered lightly. "Probably the result of some catastrophic clash between powerhouses. Perhaps a powerful Heavenly Tribulation with the Earth element. Growth due to a Natural Treasure, or it could also have gathered over a few billion years due to wind moving rocks in this direction and getting caught up in the structure."
"Billions..." Yasenia rubbed her chin, and Tatyana chuckled. "You still don’t have the lifespan to live that long, I believe. But you are not too far off, love."
Yasenia blinked. "If you had to calculate my current lifespan, without taking into account me becoming stronger, how much would you say I have?"
Tatyana showed a complicated expression. "It’s difficult because you are the first of your species. So, I don’t really have reference material. Still, just taking into account your bloodline, several cultivation paths, and your ability to even feed on cosmic energy and use Celestial Energy... I would say you can live for 20 to 30 million years, no problem at all. Even more might be possible. You are just far too young to tell."
Mirrory grinned and commented. "It can also be the polar opposite. Because of how many energies Yasenia has, her vitality is constantly being burned. Therefore, she might not live past 100,000 years."
Angel’s eyebrow twitched, and she grabbed the mirror on her chest, which was hung there like a pendant. "Get back inside for a while."
Mirrory sighed. "...It was a joke, I really can’t—"
Her voice was cut off as Angel absorbed Mirrory into the mirror. Yasenia laughed and spoke. "Even if I had 10,000 years left, I am not worried. I just need to continue advancing and reach the Seventh Realm. At that realm, lifespan becomes almost meaningless, right?"
Tatyana shrugged. "The chances of dying from natural causes as a Seventh Realm powerhouse are as low as an asteroid coming from outside this world and dropping straight onto your head. I, in my 400,000 years... Cough. I meant to say, I have not seen it ever in my very short 260 years of life. Yes."
Yasenia hugged Tatyana and rained kisses on her face. "Of course, my Tatyana is only a few years older than I am, right? She is absolutely not someone who is over 1,000 times my age."
Tatyana nodded sagely. "Exactly. That’s my age."
Mirrory appeared again from Angel’s pendant and looked toward the mountain. "Doriel and her group found it well. I can sense rare treasures in this mountain range."
Angel tilted her head. "You can sense them?"
Mirrory smiled. "I can sense these ones because they have Heavenly Traces. This means that there is either a Natural Treasure or a Heavenly Treasure over here."
Heavenly Treasures were weapons and other types of equipment that sometimes formed from natural sources. They were as rare as Natural Treasures, even rarer because they all spawned as, at least, a Supreme Ranked treasure. Therefore, they did not exist in lower Heaven Layers.
Natural Treasures, on the other hand, were more abundant in lower Heavenly Layers because mortals found them much more difficult to encounter due to the extreme environments surrounding them.
Valeria tapped the ground with her staff, sending out a pulse, and pondered. "Ah. I see why you say that. The Feng Shui in that direction is gathering toward a certain point, isn’t it?"
Mirrory nodded and glanced at Tatyana. "Can you sense it?"
Tatyana rubbed her chin and shook her head. "I’ve never been that good in that regard. Unless it is related to Fate or Death, I am rather blind to these matters."
Mirrory’s lips arched, and Tatyana almost groaned, knowing the woman had gained a new thing to use against her. Still, she couldn’t lie and deceive her Little Treasure, could she?
Yasenia tilted her head. "Then, why can’t I smell the treasure’s scent?"
Mirrory hummed. "As we said, the energy is gathering toward that point. Unless you are nearby, there is no chance the treasure’s scent spreads out beyond certain boundaries."
"Ah. I understand. It’s like a whirlpool, so the scent can’t escape the center."
"More or less."
Kali sighed. "Still, a Dragon’s treasure sense is really like cheating. No wonder they are usually depicted as greedy and rich, having far too many treasures and letting many of them become useless because they don’t want to use them."
Kali spoke while slowly turning and then looking straight into Yasenia’s eyes. Our dragoness blushed, her eyes darting about adorably.
"Cough... I, um. I just keep them safe, just in case. Y-You don’t know when they can become useful..."
Kali deadpanned at her, because if she didn’t, she feared she would squeal at how adorable Yasenia currently looked. ’Being so seductive yet acting meek and cute is against the rules!’
Tatyana chuckled. "Anyway, let’s go. We don’t want to be too late to the party."
They all took off, their bodies flying swiftly slightly above ground level. They encountered quite a few beasts along the way, but Yasenia spread out her deterrence with Cecile, so no one bothered them.
When they finally arrived nearby, Yasenia’s nose picked up the scent of many treasures, most of them already belonging to someone. Probably the armor and weapons of the groups scouting this zone. As she sharpened her sense of smell, she noticed the traces they were looking for.
"Oh... This treasure is powerful. At least high-level Supreme Rank."
That was a very valuable treasure even for them, so they raised their eyebrows with interest. Yasenia smirked. ’Let’s see if I can get away with it.’

When they arrived, they noticed several marks and other treasures that alerted the groups to new arrivals set up everywhere. Yasenia was not too surprised.
Doriel’s group moved through, disarming the harmful traps and leaving alone those meant only for detection. It didn’t matter if people knew they were here. This zone had many other treasures besides the big one they’ve been sensing.
Yasenia glanced at Doriel and asked, curious. "How did you even detect this, Doriel?"
Doriel turned her obsidian-like eyes toward Yasenia as she answered. "We have some tools for detecting traps. When we noticed a warded-off zone, we infiltrated and looked around. We encountered a group from a sect, and some of them were speaking about a powerful treasure. Following some clues, we discovered the actual zones and what was happening. It is a very basic procedure, Young Miss. It didn’t take longer than a day."
Yasenia blinked and hugged Doriel. "Good job. Here, here. A few pats as a reward."
One would think a serious, cold woman like Doriel would hate this kind of treatment. However, the fact that she not only stayed still but even stealthily sniffed Yasenia’s scent told a very different story.
"Oh wow. Look at this area."
It was a large cliff, with several gorges running through the almost vertical wall. Spreading the Spiritual Sense through them, a labyrinthine path spread out. Looking up, Yasenia shook her head. "We can’t fly over it."
The gorges weren’t open. Instead, they dug into the cliff. When they were about to enter, a group of people, led by a Half-Step, appeared in front of them.
"Stop there. This zone is... hm? Madam Yasenia?"
Yasenia turned around and felt a pleasant surprise. "Lady Xinlin. I didn’t expect to encounter you here."
Jian Xinlin, one of the five top beauties of the entire central zone and someone Yasenia clicked well with during the First Princess’s gathering. Jian Xinlin descended with her sect members behind her.
As explained before, Jian Xinlin was the Sect Leader of the Radiant Crane Temple, one of the Supreme Sects. Her status was tremendous, and her strength was among the top combatants.
From the trace of energy she revealed when she gave her warning, Yasenia knew she had absolutely no chance against her if a battle were to unfold. Even in a battle to the death, Yasenia was not confident in defeating Xinlin.
The raw energy and quality of her strength were those of a powerful genius of her era who had reached the Half-Step and fully matured. An unstoppable force.
’I would probably need to reach the Seventh or Eighth Level to have a proper chance at defeating her.’
Yasenia’s first impressions were that deep. Looking to her side, she noticed that Jian Xinlin was not the only Half-Step. An elegant, cold-faced man stood beside her, and he was equally terrifying.
Jian Xinlin looked at Yasenia up and down with a hint of concern. "Are you okay, Lady Yasenia? The Empress’s move back then was... not too polite."
Thinking about it, Xinlin felt a touch of irritation. However, the Empress of the nation was untouchable because the monstrous Emperor stood behind her.
Even Jian Xinlin, the Sect Leader of a Supreme Sect, didn’t doubt for a second that she would be crushed if they fought. The Emperor was that terrifyingly strong.
Yasenia smiled at her. "Don’t worry, Lady Xinlin. I met a few annoying groups, but I drove them all away."
Xinlin sighed and frowned. "What groups?"
Yasenia patted Xinlin’s hand gently after grabbing it. "Do not concern yourself with those things, Lady Xinlin. It will probably be revealed either way. After I dealt with them, someone came to investigate. Shadow-like people."
Xinlin and the man beside her quickly caught on. The man spoke coldly. "They are really a boring bunch. Someone of that stature playing tricks with a weak family. I guess they are quite free."
Xinlin looked back helplessly. "Don’t run your mouth so loosely... Although I do agree with you."
Yasenia glanced back and forth curiously. "This gentleman here is..."
Xinlin caught her gaze and tapped her shoulder in reproach. "Don’t let your thoughts run. He already has a Dao Companion, and they are happily together."
Yasenia teased lightly, her eyes gleaming with mischief. "Oh my. To have Lady Xinlin by his side and still choose another... I’m afraid I’d meet that beauty and feel utterly undeserving."
Xinlin deadpanned. "You are the one to speak? Even I feel my heart flutter at your sight, you absurdly beautiful girl!"
"Hahaha."
Xinlin sighed at Yasenia’s beautiful laugh. ’Truly, a single smile, and it feels as if even the weather is changing to fit her mood. I am worried.’
Even she, who was not at Yasenia’s level, understood how dangerous being excessively beautiful was. The five top beauties changed often, not because a beauty surpassed the previous one, but because one of them usually met a tragic end.
That was why, when marking someone in the ranking, they made sure strength was part of the title, too.
"Either way, Lady Yasenia. Do not enter here. There are far too many dangerous people inside. This treasure is not something you should be coveting. Even I feel a touch of danger."
Yasenia hummed and asked. "Can we go with you? We promise not to be a burden."
Jian Xinlin blinked, and the man by her side squinted. "Madam Dravory, those words can’t be said lightly."
Yasenia looked at him and spoke with a sincere and serious expression. "Please test us. I promise we have enough strength to accompany you and won’t hold you back. At least, against threats below the Half-Step level, we are not afraid."
The cold man smirked slightly. "Bold. Good, attack me then. I will see for myself."
Yasenia nodded seriously and, after extending her arms, Draheart and the Battle Flag manifested. "Here I come."
