Mu Lan reveals she is two months pregnant, having secretly switched her medication. Mu Liang is shocked and worried for her health, recalling her near-fatal experience. She explains her actions were motivated by his desire for a daughter, noting his affection for Mu Feng and Qi Ying's newborn girl. Despite Mu Liang's concerns, Mu Lan insists on continuing her work and plans. Two months later, Mu Lan agrees to accept a share of Li Corporation for her eldest son, Lian, after her uncle Li Han pleads with her. Mu Liang objects to her traveling to China alone, but she assures him she will be accompanied by Hugo and Lian's bodyguards.

Mu Liang's brow furrowed. "Have you forgotten about your pregnancy? Bringing The Cobra members from China could attract undesired attention. Besides, Hugo isn't a medical professional, and Lin (your fourth rice ball) absolutely won't stay without you."

Mu Lan responded, "I will contact Doctor Lu Feng and ask him to accompany us. If Lin wishes to join, I'll bring him too. We'll simply need two additional bodyguards."

Mu Liang remained unconvinced. "But Li Shen is still around..."

Mu Lan declared, "He has no recollection of the past. What is there to fear? Should he dare to make a move, I will eliminate his entire family."

Mu Liang pressed the bridge of his nose between his fingers. "I'll permit you to go, but you must take four more elite bodyguards. You are not to venture anywhere without them."

"Should I have them sleep in my bedroom as well?" Mu Lan quipped playfully.

Mu Liang's frown deepened. "Be serious!"

Ultimately, Mu Lan departed with her eldest and youngest sons, accompanied by their usual bodyguard detail, several additional elite guards, and Lu Feng. Upon their arrival at the Li Mansion, Li Han was visibly taken aback. He had anticipated just three guests, not a retinue of ten. Recovering his composure, he offered a warm smile. "Welcome, Xiao Lan and my little rice balls!"

The rice balls bowed in unison. "It is an honor to meet you, Grandpa."

Li Han was meeting them for the very first time. Two years prior, he lacked the inclination or interest to meet anyone at the castle. Now, beholding the two children, his happiness overflowed, and he moved forward to embrace their small forms. "Grandpa is also honored to meet you. Xiao Lan, you should have brought the other two rice balls as well."

Mu Lan smiled. "They wished to come, but their father did not want me to be solely responsible for all four when he is away. If you wish to play with them, you are welcome to visit us in Paris anytime. Little Shan will have free time during his winter vacation. You two could join us for Christmas. I know Cousin Shen will be incredibly busy then."

Li Han grumbled, "Don't speak of that child. He is so consumed by his work that he barely has time for his own son." Aside from the Li family, no one was aware that Li Shan was Li Sheng's son. However, the Mu family had been informed without the Li family's knowledge.

Mu Lan surveyed the surroundings. "Where is little Shan? I don't see him."

Li Han replied, "He will be arriving shortly from school. He will be delighted to see his cousins... He does bear a familiar resemblance..." He glanced at Lu Feng.

Mu Lan provided the introduction. "Indeed, this is Doctor Lu Feng. He serves as our family physician. He is currently on vacation and decided to join us."

"Do come inside. I have already prepared the guest rooms. Please rest for a while first. We have matters to discuss later."

"Certainly, Uncle." Mu Lan led her children inside. Given her condition, she wore a flowing dress, intentionally chosen to conceal her pregnancy. After freshening up, she decided to call her parents.

Professor Ryuren and Zhuan Zhen had returned to their former residence. Those who knew them were astonished to see two individuals thought to be deceased reappear. Nevertheless, they were all warmly welcomed. The government expressed a desire to meet with the couple, seeking to understand their miraculous survival, but the couple rebuffed their advances with cold indifference. The government, embarrassed by their inability to protect national treasures, ceased their persistent inquiries. While they explored alternative avenues, no leads emerged. The couple's continued existence remained an enigma.

Mu Lan contacted her father, and Professor Ryuren answered. "Lanie, how are you doing?"

Mu Lan smiled. "I'm doing well, Papa. How are you?"

Professor Ryuren responded, "I am doing splendidly. Your mother is feeling a bit bored, so we are planning a trip to Egypt. We depart the day after tomorrow. Will you visit us before we leave?"

Mu Lan consulted her schedule and answered, "I am free tomorrow. I will bring the rice balls to visit you both."

Professor Ryuren's face lit up. "That's wonderful! Your mother has prepared some things for the rice balls; they will be thrilled with the gifts."

Mu Lan shook her head helplessly. "Please don't spoil them too much with gifts. If possible, do visit us sometimes."

Professor Ryuren agreed. "We certainly will. Oh! I almost forgot to mention; we visited Jonah's girlfriend's family yesterday. We met her parents, and we've decided to hold Jonah's engagement party once the young lady completes her undergraduate studies."

"That is truly wonderful news. I am delighted for Jonah and Meili. I will offer my congratulations later. I must hang up now, Papa. Take care of yourself."

"You too, Lanie. You now need to take excellent care of yourself with your pregnancy." Following their conversation, Professor Ryuren concluded the call.

"I must go give that scoundrel a piece of my mind! How dare he withhold such wonderful news from me? He knew I was eagerly awaiting it!" Mu Lan's brow furrowed as she voiced her displeasure towards her younger brother.

Knock! Knock!

Upon hearing the knock, Mu Lan called out, "Come in." Expecting a maid, she was surprised when Li Han entered. She quickly rose to her feet. "Uncle, please have a seat."

Li Han took a seat and presented her with several documents. "I have allocated twenty-five percent of the shares to your eldest son. To be honest, I intended to give you fifty percent, and even Xiao Shen was agreeable. However, if I had done so, you would have surely compelled me to revise the documents once more."

Mu Lan nodded as she reviewed the papers. "That's accurate! I still believe twenty-five percent is quite substantial for our little rice ball. Did you retain a hundred percent of the shares for yourself? That would have been impossible!"

Li Han let out a chuckle. "The rice ball won't remain little forever. And no, we do not possess all the shares. We currently hold seventy-five percent."

Mu Lan seemed to recall something. "I thought you had fifty percent of the shares?"
