Mu Lan, despite her pregnancy, arranges to travel with her youngest sons and doctor Lu Feng, bringing extra bodyguards for safety. Upon arrival at the Li Mansion, she's warmly welcomed by Li Han, who is delighted to meet his great-grandchildren. Mu Lan discusses her other sons' potential visits and her younger brother's workaholic tendencies. Meanwhile, her parents, Professor Ryuren and Zhuan Zhen, have returned from the dead and are preparing for a trip to Egypt. Mu Lan promises to visit them with her sons. Li Han then presents Mu Lan with documents granting her eldest son a significant share of the company.

Li Han offered an explanation: "Just two years ago, Xiao Shen nearly faced possession. He dedicated himself to work day and night, successfully recovering twenty-five percent of the shares within that period."

"Is this the twenty-five percent share you've been mentioning?" Mu Lan inquired. She found it surprising that Li Shen would be so diligent concerning a cousin he had only just met, displaying an unexpected level of care.

Li Han confirmed with a nod. "Indeed, this is the share he managed to accumulate over two years."

Mu Lan meticulously reviewed the documents before affixing her signature. Rice ball number one, Lian, curiously peered at the papers his mother was examining. A smile graced her lips as she looked at the inquisitive little one. "This will belong to you from now on. You need to sign your name right here," she indicated.

Utterly unaware of the document's significance, Rice ball number one followed his mother's instructions, neatly inscribing his name as he had been taught.

"He possesses wonderful handwriting," Li Han commented, offering praise.

Mu Lan beamed at the compliment. "Rice ball number one adores reading and writing, much like his father, wouldn't you agree, dear?" she added, affectionately ruffling the young boy's hair. Rice ball number one's cheeks flushed with pride at his mother's praise.

Li Han then turned his attention to the bashful Rice ball number four, Lin. "And what about him?" he asked.

"He has a passion for art, just like his mother," Mu Lan replied, not forgetting to stroke the youngest rice ball's head. She then addressed her uncle, stating, "Tomorrow, we have plans to visit my parents. We'll be departing early in the morning."

"Of course, go and enjoy yourselves. However, try to return by tonight. We're hosting a business party the day after tomorrow, and all the shareholders will be in attendance. They'll be eager to meet you, as you will be overseeing things until the little rice ball reaches adulthood."

"We will be back tomorrow. And, regarding cousin Shen, is he doing alright now?" Mu Lan inquired with a touch of concern.

Li Han accepted the documents from her and responded, "You'll discover his condition after you meet him tonight at dinner. He's promised to arrive early."

"Grandpa! Where is Auntie Lan?!" a voice excitedly called out.

Mu Lan and Li Han glanced towards the door as a seven-year-old boy burst into the room. His eyes lit up with recognition upon spotting Mu Lan. "Auntie Lan!" he shrieked, running forward and leaping into her arms.

"Little Shan!" Mu Lan exclaimed joyfully, embracing him tightly before her belly could be impacted. "How are you, baby?"

"I'm super! I've been waiting for you and the rice balls since yesterday. You should have come sooner!" Little Shan chirped, delighted by her presence.

Before his parents' divorce, his mother offered him little attention, and his father was rarely home. Consequently, he was primarily raised by the maid, with only occasional visits from his grandparents. Following the divorce, his circumstances remained largely unchanged, yet he yearned for parental affection.

His grandfather, Li Han, recognized this longing. Thus, he arranged for his grandson to travel to Paris every two months to spend time with Mu Lan and the rice balls. Mu Liang also consented, as the rice balls would be occupied by Li Shan, freeing up his wife. After spending time with them, Little Shan transformed into a cheerful and lively child, having developed a strong bond with Mu Lan and his cousins.

Mu Lan gently stroked his head. "I'm happy to hear that. Why don't you freshen up first, and then you can play with your cousins?"

"Okay! Lian! Lin! It's great to see you guys!" Little Shan declared, hugging his two cousins. "Come with me. I want to show you my room and my playhouse. I even got a parrot that I'm excited to show you."

"Let's go," Rice ball number one, Lian, readily agreed, eager to see the bird. The two departed together. Rice ball number four hesitated for a moment before following his brother and cousin.

Li Han questioned Mu Lan, "You're pregnant; why did you not inform me sooner? It makes sense now why you brought your doctor along."

"I didn't wish to cause alarm," Mu Lan responded calmly. Her decision was rooted in ensuring her own safety.

"...I understand. It's best not to stir up any trouble," Li Han replied with a heavy sigh, comprehending her reasoning. He concluded it was preferable for his son not to be aware of the pregnancy, as it might evoke unpleasant memories.

During dinner, the rice balls were formally introduced to their uncle. Mu Lan also extended her greetings. "It's a pleasure to see you again, Cousin Shen."

Li Shen offered a curt nod. His gaze then fell upon the young boys as he inquired, "Are they yours?"

Mu Lan smiled. "They are. The eldest is Lian, and he will be taking over the shares you've prepared. Thank you so much for your immense generosity."

Li Shen responded, "The company originally belonged to your father. I remain grateful that he entrusted me with its management."

"It rightfully belongs to you, in any case. There would be no reason for Papa to take it from you," Mu Lan stated. *'Wow! This fellow has completely changed after the hypnosis. It's certainly better this way.'*

A full day passed, and at the grand business party, Mu Lan was engrossed in conversation with several shareholders. In the meantime, Li Shen led the little rice ball, Lian, to a secluded room. He gently placed the young boy onto the sofa before kneeling down. "Little Lian, I have a special gift for you."

The rice ball tilted his head, remaining silent.

"You bear a striking resemblance to your father," Li Shen commented. He then produced an antique locket attached to a delicate chain. This locket, resembling a pocket watch, was designed to be opened. Inside, one side revealed the image of a woman, while the other held a tender, small poem.

"The lady pictured here is my and your mother's grandmother – the mother of your grandpas Ryuren and Han. This locket was hers. It was meant to be passed down to your mother, as she is the daughter of Grandmother's eldest son. I've kept it safe for quite some time, and now I'm entrusting it to you," Li Shen explained. He carefully fastened the locket around the boy's neck, letting it rest there. "When you're older, present it to a girl you truly love."
