Gravity Mage with Level-Up System Chapter 2201: Entering the Mage Union

Forbidden Wizard Charlotte saw Vincent Carey’s reaction. She saw how calm and composed he remained when she mentioned the name Celeste.
It was because that girl, Celeste, was powerful. Her magic was rare glass magic; rarely did anything stop her. She was looking forward to the challenge between them.
On the other hand, I thought of something and asked, "Elder, what about the battle?"
Hearing that, Charlotte collected her thoughts. Manager Lara returned to reality as well and turned toward Charlotte.
Charlotte said, "We know about our enemy. It’s the Covenant organization-an age-old, hidden organization that used to be famous in one of the ancient eras."
"The descendants of that organization are trying to make a comeback. We are the only ones standing in their way," she added.
Hearing that, I remained quiet. Why did I have the feeling that the Mage Union higher-ups were deliberately not solving the problem?
Still, I didn’t ask. I wanted to enter the Mage Union and see it for myself.
Charlotte continued, "The wizards on both sides have already started clashing, but the wizards on their side were mostly captives under their magical control."
"We have yet to harm the real core members of that organization," she added.
"Captives, huh," I thought.
I knew how terrifying the Elder-level powerhouse Muriel was in reality. The crazy old woman used her magical artifact to torment her prisoners.
I wouldn’t be surprised if there were others with terrifying strength there as well. Charlotte continued to speak, expecting that the official announcement of the battle would come soon.
So far, they had been fighting their enemies in the shadows. Right now, the entire magic city and the surrounding satellite cities somehow knew about the situation.
The delay in the announcement was meant to prepare the public for the shocking news so that when the Mage Union finally made it, the locals would not panic.
Just then, someone made an appearance. The person was none other than Elder Dana. Upon seeing her, everyone stood up from their seats.
They hadn’t expected her to come unannounced.
Elder Dana set her gaze on Vincent Carey right away, not even glancing at Charlotte or Lara. She looked him up and down.
"So those old monsters were right. You have become a Mage Lord. How did it happen?" Dana asked.
Hearing that, I was dumbfounded. Who was she referring to as "old monsters"?
Collecting my thoughts, I repeated the same story to her. Elder Dana listened to everything calmly.
A few minutes later, she spoke.
"Come with me," Elder Dana said in a strict tone.
It was an order. Hearing it sent a jolt through my heart. I turned toward Elder Charlotte and Lara; both gave me an affirming nod.
I began to follow Elder Dana out of the Silver Tower. Once outside, she grabbed my shoulder.
Swoosh!
The next moment, she tore open a spatial rift and brought me inside. My eyes widened in disbelief as I felt my body descending.
Thud!
It didn’t take long for my feet to touch the ground. The very next second, a dense concentration of pure, rich mana flooded my body.
I had never felt such a concentration of rich mana before. Every cell in my body craved it.
Elder Dana stood beside me. Suppressing the urge to absorb it all at once, I raised my head to inspect our surroundings.
Large white clouds drifted around us, parted by towering crystal buildings.
It felt as though the place were suspended high in the sky above the clouds, yet it was distinctly an isolated dimension.
The buildings gleamed in multiple colors—especially the one directly ahead of me, which stood at least a hundred feet tall and was pure white.
Elder Dana noticed the change in Vincent Carey’s expression. Seeing the shock on his face reminded her of her own first visit; she had been just as stunned back then.
I calmed my racing heart. The flow of pure, rich mana inside my body stabilized, circulating before entering my mana core space.
The uneven, rock-type mana core absorbed this pure mana with ease. Its rough texture made controlling the energy much simpler.
With the mana flowing smoothly through my body, I shifted my attention back to the surroundings. I looked at the towering white building before turning toward Elder Dana.
"This is the outer area of the Mage Union. The Mage Union is located in its own hidden dimension," Elder Dana explained.
Hearing that sent another shockwave through my heart. If this was only the outer perimeter, what would the core area look like?
Gathering my thoughts, I followed behind Elder Dana as she walked toward the white building.
For reasons unknown, I could feel my strength surging forward, though I refrained from summoning the status panel this time.
When we arrived before the tower, Elder Dana presented her Mage Union badge.
Creak!
The massive door, standing at least twenty feet high, swung open.
We stepped inside and walked deeper into the hall. The door behind me shut automatically, and the interior lights flared to life.
The fixtures were all made of crystal, shining like brilliant stars. I had never seen such magical artifacts before; the gems were cut in raw, uneven shapes.
Elder Dana kept a subtle eye on Vincent Carey’s reactions throughout.
Swoosh!
Just then, several figures emerged from the far side of the room. They wore the uniform of the Silver Tower, adorned with golden stripes running along the fabric—stripes identical to those on Elder Dana’s robes.
There were five of them in total: three elderly women and two elderly men. The moment I laid eyes on them, all my internal alarms went off.
Elder Dana had clearly been restraining her aura, so I hadn’t felt any pressure from her; however, the Elder-level presence radiating from these five was unmistakable.
Every single one of them was an Elder-level wizard.
Elder Dana said, "These five elders belong to the Outer Hall Council. All Mage Lords fall under the jurisdiction of the Outer Hall."
Hearing that, a look of understanding flashed across my eyes.
"What about Forbidden Wizards?" I asked.
"Forbidden Wizards belong to the Inner Hall, which has its own council elders," Elder Dana replied.
I steadied my breathing and grew serious, wondering why these five elders had gathered here.
"These five elders are here to assess your strength. Once your abilities are verified, you will be issued your Mage Union badge," Elder Dana said with a faint smile.
