"Who is this young man?" the old man asked.

"He is a prodigy of our Silver Tower. He is Magic Lord Vincent Carey," Erwin said with pride.

The old man was dumbfounded. He had already seen through his strength, but he didn’t expect the title to belong to this young man.

"Looks like your other prodigy, Celeste, is going to have a worthy opponent," the old man said with a chuckle.

"She is already a Magic Lord," he added.

Hearing that, my heart set off storms. I recalled old memories. I had almost forgotten about her. There was one more person who was stronger and more talented than me.

She had become a Magic Lord before me as well. Her friend, City Lord Aveline, broke the news back in Bluebell Reach City.

Erwin noticed Vincent Carey’s reaction. He saw that the young man was not particularly surprised by the news. It was unexpected.

"Yeah, it’s good news for our Silver Tower," Erwin replied.

Next, the old man allowed us to leave. He didn’t check our IDs.

We left the place, but we didn’t use the space layer for travel inside the Territory. It was not allowed unless absolutely necessary.

Since they were returning from a mission, it was not wise to cause unnecessary noise. However, both of their normal flight speeds were already fast.

They would reach their destination in an hour or two.

Silver Tower

We entered the Magic City an hour later. I immediately felt the changes in the environmental mana. It was extremely rich and pure.

I noticed a high concentration of multi-colored strands mixed in the air. It was a paradise for wizards with all kinds of magic talent.

We didn’t stop until we reached the Magic Tower area. This time, I could see them clearly. There were more than ten Magic Towers covered in formations.

My gaze was particularly drawn to two towers. One of them was the Black Tower, the enemy tower. The other was the Red Tower; it was our rival tower and also the number one tower under the Mage Union.

Next, we landed in front of the Silver Tower’s gate. There were spies in their usual locations, but they didn’t dare linger their gazes on the Silver Tower.

They had already sensed the presence of a Forbidden Wizard and a Magic Lord. Still, there were some who took the risk to at least see their faces.

They saw a masked man, and the other was Lord Erwin. It set off a thunderclap in their heads.

They had been hearing rumors about Lord Erwin, that he had gone missing during the mission. The rumor was widespread and popular among the Wizard Towers and the Wizard Families.

Now they realized the rumors were exaggerated. They immediately started sending the news back to their higher-ups.

We used our badges to go inside. We walked through the doors and entered the wide, spacious lobby.

"I’m going to my room. Report to Manager Lara. She will contact Elder Charlotte, and they will send a Forbidden Wizard Healer to treat me." After saying that, Erwin headed to his room.

"Okay," I replied.

Before I could take out my device to contact her, I saw someone come out of the office and walk into the lobby.

It was none other than Manager Lara. Her face was full of disbelief and shock. She couldn’t believe Forbidden Wizard Erwin had returned in one piece with Vincent Carey.

"How is this possible?" she asked.

But when her gaze fell on Vincent Carey, she was dumbstruck. It took her a few moments to process the mana presence coming from him.

"When did you become a Magic Lord?" she asked.

"An opportunity during the mission," I replied with a smile. I liked her shocked expression.

A serious realization dawned on her.

"What happened to Lord Erwin? How did he leave the place?" she asked, firing off back-to-back questions.

Hearing that, I said, "I will answer those questions later, but Lord Erwin needs immediate treatment. He suffered serious injuries to his body."

"He asked me to contact you and tell Lord Charlotte about the situation. She will send a Forbidden Wizard Rank Healer to the tower," I added.

"Okay," Lara replied.

She took out her device on the spot and contacted Lord Charlotte on her emergency line, which she immediately picked up.

Lara then told her about the matter. On the call, Charlotte was dumbfounded as well. She couldn’t believe what she was hearing.

"Wait! Wait! What are you saying? Lord Erwin is back, and Vincent Carey is now a Magic Lord?" Charlotte asked.

"Yes, it’s the truth," Lara replied.

"Is he there? Tell him to wait in the tower. I’m coming over with a Healer," Charlotte said before ending the call.

"She is coming with a healer," Lara said.

"Good. I’m going to wait in my room." After saying that, I headed towards my quarters.

Lara watched Vincent Carey walk away.

"First Celeste, and now Vincent Carey has become a Magic Lord. The White Silver Faction is leading the other two factions now," Lara thought to herself.

She then immediately began to make the arrangements.

Meanwhile, I entered my room using my badge. I saw the place was covered in dust.

I immediately used the system to scan the whole place again. I didn’t want anyone intruding here during my absence.

The system results showed that the place was untouched. I was the last one here.

Next, I went inside the Gregor Mansion. I brought the Zero puppet outside and instructed it to clean the room.

The Zero puppet obeyed the order and started working. Next, I went inside the mansion to check on the members again.

In the Gregor Mansion, I summoned everyone. Otto, Patrick, Hank, old man Rock, and Lady Caitlin arrived at the spot.

Everyone was beaming with strength. They had used the resources to improve their power recently.

Lady Caitlin saw Vincent Carey. Her mind went blank for a second. She stood there frozen, looking at him.

Old man Rock paused, his eyes wide. He was also shocked by Master Vincent’s strength.

Meanwhile, the other members-Otto, Patrick, and Hank felt an unknown pressure coming from Master Vincent.

The mana presence was similar to old man Rock and Lady Caitlin. They were in shock as well.
