Prison Island

The old man and the two Magic Lords saw the island. Then, they flew towards the island. They slowly landed on the ground. The old man didn’t enter directly.

They walked for a certain distance and then stopped. The old man then took out a magic scroll from his bracelet. It was a kind of identification issued by the elders.

"Take your scrolls out," the old man said to the members.

Hearing that, both Magic Lords reacted and took their scrolls out. They held them in their hands.

The old man saw that and poured mana into his scroll. The scroll was activated. It glowed in a black color.

The Magic Lords followed suit; they did the same actions. Their scrolls were activated as well.

Then, the old man took the lead and walked further. He felt there was a barrier in front of him. It was threatening, but the restrictions sensed the power of the black scrolls. Then, the sense of crisis disappeared.

It was not their first time being here. But each time, they would get the feeling of something dangerous.

Since they were a Forbidden Wizard and Magic Lords, they were able to control their nerves.

On the other hand, I landed on the island. I watched them go inside using the black scrolls. But I didn’t have one.

It showed that there was a barrier ahead, but I didn’t know how strong the barrier was.

If the Forbidden Wizard and the Magic Lords were using scrolls to pass the barrier, I didn’t think it was something easily passed by Supreme Wizards.

I stopped in front of the place. I looked around before my gaze fell on the area ahead. I asked the system to probe the barrier.

[Ding! Forbidden Level Barrier detected.]

I heard the system voice in my mind. My eyes flickered. I was right-there was a problem with the barrier. I could not go through like the others. Maybe I should collect a black scroll from one of them.

After making plans, I looked around the place. No one was around me. The next second, I appeared inside the Gregor Mansion.

Then I saw no one was there, and then I remembered taking them into the system space.

Next, I appeared inside the system space. I saw the members were sitting on chairs and the blue grid floor; like me, they were also carrying chairs in their storage bracelets.

My appearance attracted their attention. The next second, everyone stood up from their seats and greeted me.

"Master, what happened?" Lady Caitlin asked this time. Usually, it was Otto who would ask this question. But she had taken the initiative this time.

The others had the same question on their minds. Because everyone was brought here all of a sudden, something serious must have happened, and they wanted to know what was going on.

I saw through everyone’s expressions. Then, I began to tell them.

"I spotted a Forbidden Wizard and two Magic Lords. The Forbidden Wizard saw through stealth mode. That’s why I brought you guys inside," I said to them.

Then, I continued to explain how I followed them to the unknown island. The unknown island was mysterious and seemed to be a prison island based on their conversation.

The expressions of the members shifted. They didn’t expect the master to find the location himself, and their help was not needed at all. They started feeling guilty.

I saw everyone had quieted down. I was not letting them go outside. Even though they were under the control of the crimson chains, I dared not let them explore outside.

If not for the Forbidden Wizard, I would have sent them.

Next, I thought of a plan. I would use the help of the zero puppet. The zero puppet in red smoke form was here, but none of them could see him. However, he had been listening to their conversation.

"Master, I want to help!"

"If you find a way to get in, then I can use my magic power to locate Forbidden Wizard Erwin," Otto said.

"If there is a fighting situation, I want to contribute as well. I know you can fight on your own, but I want to fight as well," Patrick stated his honest opinion.

Hank had improved his magic power as well, so he had a lot more confidence this time.

He said, "Master, if it’s a prison island, then I can use my magic to locate the prison cells."

"Like the others, I want to use my physique to fight. So you should not stop us next time," Old Man Rock said.

"Yes, you have been facing the problems alone. Let us fight alongside you; there is a reason why you subdued us. You don’t want to babysit us forever, do you?" Caitlin said with slight anger.

I was taken aback. I didn’t expect her to see through my thoughts.

"You guys are right. I didn’t want you guys to face the Forbidden Wizard. It’s because I’m not a Magic Lord or a Forbidden Wizard. There is a limit to what I can do right now. That’s why the mission is more dangerous," I said to them.

Everyone sighed in relief. Since the Master was honest with his words, it brought them relief. Lady Caitlin’s eyes flashed with approval.

Then, I discussed the next plan with them. Obviously, I didn’t tell them about the zero puppet. I briefed them on the next move.

Next, I brought them back to the Gregor Mansion one by one. Finally, I came to get the zero puppet. I brought the zero puppet to the control room.

We looked at the control mirror. I saw no one was outside right now. I was waiting for the old man to come outside.

If any Magic Lord tried to enter, then I could abduct him. After watching for some time, I instructed the zero puppet to begin the watch.

Then I sat cross-legged on the floor. I began practicing right away. I took a few super-grade mana stones and started running the Gravity Ark Mental Method.

As time passed, the gravity mana from the surroundings drifted toward my body. The gray mana particles from the mana stones entered my body.

I guided the mana along the path. The gray mana particles followed the route. The pathways were getting flooded by the gravity mana.

After circulation, the gravity mana entered the mana core space. Inside the mana core space, the pebble-sized mana core was absorbing the incoming mana.

I continued to repeat the process. The red smoke was keeping watch over the control mirror.

Time passed.

Midnight came. Someone came out from the barrier. The person was none other than the old man. He was the old Forbidden Wizard.

The zero puppet turned towards the Master. Seeing that the Master was doing serious practice, it didn’t want to disturb him. It was really bad to disturb someone; it could cause a backlash.

So the zero puppet chose silence for the time being.

One hour later,

I opened my eyes. I felt an increase in strength. Today’s training session went well. Next, I stood up and turned towards the zero puppet.

"Did something happen?" I asked.

The zero puppet then began to explain the situation. It revealed the information that the old man had exited the barrier earlier. He had not been seen since then.

Hearing that, my mouth curved into an arc. Next, I brought the zero puppet in red smoke form to outside.

I checked the surroundings with the system. Seeing that there was no danger, I instructed the zero puppet. I wanted the puppet to subdue any Magic Lord who tried to come outside or go inside.

If I could even get one magic scroll, that would be enough.

Next, I told the puppet to stay in one spot. After saying that, I appeared inside the mansion. I went to the control room. I stood in front of the control mirror.

I saw the red smoke hovering in mid-air. If any Forbidden Wizard appeared, the system would remind me. But it hadn’t reminded me during the practice session.

If it had, then I would have hurt my body. Next, I closed my eyes and told the system to remind me if there was any movement outside.

Outside

The old Forbidden Wizard was doing his nighttime patrol. The prison island was one of the well-kept secrets of the Covenant.

Everyone had heard about the Black Mists Forbidden Land. But very few knew about the prison island and some other important places.

The Black Mists Forbidden Land was one large island, but there were many small islands around the big island.

Two of his students had gone inside the prison island. They were on patrol inside along with the others. There were terrifying people imprisoned there.

Even if one of their names got out, it would shake the well-known nations and many wizard organizations in the world.
