I had a mask on my face. The red smoke bracelet was around my hand. I checked using the system whether anyone was following me-especially the Magic Lord.

After learning that no Magic Lord was coming, I raised my eyebrows in surprise. I was sure that the old man Magic Lord had shown killing intent toward me.

The wizards found the masked man. They recognized he was the same person who had exited the auction house.

"He is here!"

"Why is he alone?"

"Doesn’t he have a protector?"

One by one, the wizards started questioning. They arrived in front of me. My gaze swept across the ten or so people.

I didn’t answer their questions. But I spotted three Supreme Wizards among them. They were the ones who were raising the questions.

The rest of the wizards were Level-9 Wizards. But they were extremely quiet and nervous. Obviously, I could kill them. They were afraid.

I had to take care of the three old men first. The rest of them would flee from the place. The Level-9 Wizards were looking toward the three Level-10 Wizards.

They were the source of their strength.

"Our auction manager wants the auction item back. If you give it to us, we will leave you alone," one of the old men said.

"Yes, cooperate with us. It’s best for you," the second person said.

Then my gaze turned toward the third person. He had something to say as well.

"If you try to escape, then you will be attacked by our magic spell," the third person said.

He basically threatened me. Hearing that, I decided to act right away.

I raised my hand and cast the magic spell. It was the first time I was casting the magic spell. I could lock onto three targets at the same time.

"Gravity Spikes."

I released the magic spell. Three beams of gray energy were released from my index finger.

The faces of the three of them changed drastically. They didn’t expect I could do an instant cast.

The Level-9 Wizards were petrified on the spot.

In a flash, the dense beams shot across in a straight line before hitting their bodies. The three old men couldn’t even scream.

The gravity power acted on their bodies in that instant. Their bodies flew backward before crashing into the ground.

Their hard landing caused an impact force. The impact force swept across the place. But there was no impact force caused by the gravity beam.

There was no response from their bodies whatsoever.

Seeing that, the Level-9 Wizards didn’t know what to do. They were shaken to the core. They saw that the three Supreme Wizards could not move their fingers.

The Level-9 Wizards could tell that the three Supreme Wizards were dead. If they were dead, then there was no one to save them.

The Level-9 Wizards turned toward the masked man.

On the other hand, I confirmed the deaths of the three old men. Their bones and internals were completely crushed.

I didn’t even add the stack power. Yet the power of the gravity magic could take the lives of three Supreme Wizards.

I collected my thoughts and looked toward the rest of the people.

"You guys can leave," I said to them.

The next second, the Level-9 Wizards all felt lucky. They darted out from the place the next moment.

It didn’t take long for them to vacate the place.

I continued to wait for the Magic Lord. I was sure that the old man Magic Lord would come after me. Next, I shifted my attention to the place.

The magic spell attack didn’t cause widespread destruction. The spell had only struck the enemy targets. All the damage was taken by their bodies.

When they were gone from the place, I stood up and walked up to the corpses. I arrived in front of the three Supreme Wizards’ corpses.

The next second, I used the system to probe. The system results confirmed that their internals were smashed. Even their bones were crushed.

Next, I collected the storage bracelets from their bodies and put them inside the system space.

I didn’t linger here any longer and left the place.

Soon, I came to the main street. I saw that the crowd was decreasing. Everyone was talking about the battle taking place outside.

I got curious about the fight. I decided to take a look around. Anyway, I was going outside as well. It was time to leave the market city.

I went to the platform and hopped inside the cab.

The cab departed from the place and started taking me toward the city gate. I noticed the expression of the cab driver did not look good.

"Guest, are you going to leave the city right now?" the driver asked.

"Why?"

"What happened?" I asked him.

I saw fine sweat beads covering the forehead of the driver. The driver was really scared.

"A fight between the Magic Lords and the Supreme Wizards is going on. The wandering wizards were already affected by the fight."

"The City Lord has given orders. No one is allowed to enter the city during the fight," the driver said while driving.

"People can enter the city, but they cannot go outside," I said.

"Yes. It’s the rule," the driver replied.

Hearing that, my mouth twitched. It wasn’t about the rules. It was related to the auction house. The City Lord knew about the fight.

If the VIPs stayed inside the auction, then the fight could break out inside the city. It was an even more dangerous situation. It was best for the auction attendees to leave the city.

The Level-9 Wizards returned to their master’s side. A few of them went back to the old man Manager. They immediately shared the information with him.

The old manager was shocked. He couldn’t believe what he was hearing. He once again asked his men about the fight.

After learning that the masked man used an instant cast to kill the three old men, the Manager understood that the masked man must be a powerful wizard. That young man might be closer to becoming a Magic Lord.

At the same time, the Magic Lord was in the auction house building as well. He overheard the conversation and was surprised. He didn’t expect the young Supreme Wizard to be this powerful.
