A day later,

The Raven Aircraft reached a place closer to the destination. I stopped the aircraft a mile before the wizard market.

The aircraft was too eye-catching. I didn’t know whether there were any hidden powerhouses in the market. I told the members about it.

Creak!

Next, they exited the aircraft one by one. When all the members were out, I wore the full-face mask again. I exited the cockpit and appeared outside.

My gaze fell on the barren land outside. But there were some big native trees providing shade. The branches of the trees were extending over 30 ft.

The height of the trees was over 100 ft. It was rare to come across such tall trees. Then my gaze turned towards the Raven Aircraft.

The Zero puppet in red smoke form exited the aircraft. I put away the Raven Aircraft inside the system space.

"System, check whether there is any danger surrounding us," I asked the system in my mind.

[Ding! No threats have been detected so far]

I heard the system’s voice in my mind. It brought me assurance. Next, I turned towards the members.

"There is a wizard market ahead. It’s the first time for me to encounter a market in this area. I don’t know whether it’s a neutral market or a black market."

"We could come across a Magic Lord or Forbidden Wizards. So follow me. Don’t wander around alone. We have already caused enough disturbance in Rockwell City," I said to them.

"Master, I will inform you if there is any situation," Otto said. He could use magic power to overhear any conversation around him.

Patrick and the others said the same.

Next, we started moving towards the wizard market. It was noon, so the place appeared crystal clear. A stream of red smoke was moving side by side with me.

Otto, Patrick, Hank, and old man Rock were behind me.

It didn’t take long for us to cross the last mile. A small blue lake came into view. Around the lake, hundreds of tents and stalls could be spotted.

Many people could be seen exploring the place.

A flicker of surprise appeared in my eyes. Among the people exploring the market, many of them were wizards above Level-5.

I didn’t sense any mid-level wizards. It was interesting to see what was going on here.

"Let’s go," I said to them.

Next, we landed and started walking on the ground. Soon, we reached the entrance of the market.

There was a group of people wearing coarse clothes chatting and laughing outside. I immediately used the system to check their profiles.

A window appeared before my eyes, revealing their details.

My gaze passed over their magic powers. I noticed there were a lot of mixed magic powers. It was difficult to tell whether they were black wizards, because I spotted elemental wizards among them.

But none of them were Supreme Wizards. So I could guess the overall strength of the market. There was nothing to be afraid of.

When we got closer, our arrival sparked their attention. Because none of us were weak, their chit-chat quieted down.

There were more than ten wizards here. These wizards were between Level-8 and Level-9. Their faces were filled with apprehension.

I walked forward and said, "We came here to explore the market."

The group of wizards looked at each other. The situation was something they couldn’t deal with alone. One of them immediately informed the higher-ups. He did it secretly by pressing a device.

But he didn’t know his actions were seen by others. None of them opened their mouths.

I turned towards Patrick and signaled him.

Patrick understood. He stepped forward and said, "Are you disrespecting us?"

Hearing that, the blood on the wizards’ faces drained. They felt an unknown pressure weighing on them.

"Lord, forgive us!"

A female voice sounded in the next moment.

Swoosh!

A female Supreme Wizard appeared from the market. She was wearing a black leather dress with a trench coat on top. She was wearing a magic hat as well.

She had black hair and eyes. Her hair reached up to her shoulders. Her skin tone was tan. She stood before the group of wizards and looked towards us.

The woman was the leader of the market. Her name was Katie. She was a Supreme Wizard and superior to the patrolling wizards.

Katie’s gaze passed over the visitors. Her heart was stirred. Supreme Wizards often visited their market, but not in a single group.

She came to the conclusion that these wizards might belong to a powerful force. She saw that the masked man stood a step ahead of them. Everyone seemed to be waiting for his signal.

The mask reminded her of something. She found the mask familiar. But the current situation didn’t allow for the distraction.

She then said, "I apologize for the inconvenience. We haven’t received a strong group of wizards in a long time."

Hearing that, Patrick turned towards me. I nodded to him.

"Can we go inside now?" Patrick asked.

Katie was surprised. She was right in her guess. The masked man was the leader of their group.

"Yes!" "Yes!"

"If you want, I can arrange for a guide," Katie said to them.

"There is no need for that. We will handle it ourselves," I said to her.

Katie nodded her head.

She then made way for them to go inside. There was no inspection or giving out masks to the visitors. I noticed all of it. I realized that it could really be a general market.

But still, the market was yet to be explored. Then I took the others and went inside.

Katie saw their disappearing backs. She felt the masked man seemed familiar. The mask reminded her of something. But she couldn’t pinpoint it right now.

She then noticed one of the trembling patrolling guards.

"Harumph!"

She gave a cold snort before saying, "There is no need to be afraid. They are not evil wizards. If they were evil wizards, they would have killed you guys already."

"A simple mana pressure is enough," she added.

Hearing that, everyone sighed in relief. None of them had spoken a word earlier. They froze like statues.

Katie shook her head before going back to her place. She thought the matter needed to be reported to the higher-ups.
