Lord Charlotte warned Vincent Carey to leave Rockwell City for his safety. She then tasked Manager Lara with gathering information. Meanwhile, Vincent, safe in his hotel room, interrogated an evil wizard named Tim with the help of the Zero Puppet. The interrogation was cut short when a hidden mental spell triggered, killing Tim and destroying his mind. However, the Zero Puppet managed to extract crucial information about the "Covenant" organization before Tim's demise.

Seeing that Vincent Carey was silent on the call, Lara’s suspicion grew stronger.

Lara strongly felt Vincent Carey had found something. She couldn’t believe the rate of progress Vincent Carey was making right now was faster than others.

Even Supreme Wizard Holden Barrett was not this fast, but his name had become famous across the Magic Towers.

It was because Holden Barrett was representing the Silver Tower.

He had previously contributed to the mission given by the Mage Union. It was a major contribution.

His name was at the forefront alongside those from other Magic Towers.

But Lara knew that the contribution made by Vincent Carey was unknown. She didn’t know whether it was a decision made by Vincent Carey or the Elders.

"Manager Lara, are you there?" I asked.

Manager Lara asked, "So tell me, what did you find?"

"You can’t call me for no reason," she added.

Hearing that, I hesitated a bit. If I told her about the presence of many Magic Lords and Forbidden Wizards from the Covenant, she would be shocked even more.

Then I decided not to tell her for the time being. Since I had already told the organization’s name to Lord Charlotte, she would take care of it.

I believed she would tell Elder Dana eventually. Elder Dana was part of the Mage Union as well. She would inform other higher-ups.

"I’m calling back to make sure that everything is fine. Because I’m going to leave the city shortly. I’m not going to stay in the city anymore," I said to her straightforwardly.

Hearing that, Lara was stunned. She had underestimated the precarious situation.

"Okay, if you need any help, you can contact me again," Lara said.

"Sure," I replied.

Then we spoke about a few other things before ending the call. Next, I put away the device and left the room.

Then I went to meet the members. They were all sitting and chatting in the living area. They were all happy.

My appearance drew attention.

"Master," one after another, they greeted me.

I nodded to them in response. I could see the eagerness in their eyes.

"I know what you guys want to know."

"Get ready, we will be leaving the city shortly," I said to them.

Hearing that, the four of them were taken aback. It came all of a sudden, but they were happy to leave the city. They had witnessed the fight earlier.

The wizards from the enemy side were truly formidable. They saw how the enemy Supreme Wizard easily defeated the City Lord, who was a Magic Lord.

Otto, Patrick, and Hank had already replayed the battle in their minds. They knew the terror of it.

Only the Magic Lord, old man Rock, remained the same on the outside. But he was shaken to the core on the inside. He had already guessed the organization’s name.

Now, seeing the members of the organization fight was something else for them.

On the other hand, everyone’s reaction didn’t go unnoticed by me, including the reaction of old man Rock. I knew this reaction.

He had guessed the organization earlier, so he must have been shocked by their name as well. But I didn’t call him out in front of others.

Everyone began to discuss our next plan. The next goal was going to be another city. Each city offered something.

Rockwell City went further. It had brought out the Covenant members to the public. I was eager to know what was going to happen next.

I had killed one of their members already. His name was Wizard Tim. He seemed to be a more important person than the others, as he was part of the front field team.

I was sure his other team members must have been missing him. After gaining some clarity, the members began to get ready.

Old man Rock wanted to go outside to collect food for the two monster pets. It had been some time since anything was brought to them, so they were likely hungry right now.

Hearing that, I agreed. Next, I went back to my room.

One hour later,

Everyone was ready to depart. Old man Rock had returned as well. I got the monster food from him and went back to my room.

I fed it to the two monster pets. The Vine Monster and the Sky Crocodile were still ferocious, but their reactions changed after seeing the food.

Old man Rock had bought food suitable for them.

After making all the arrangements, I wore my face mask and returned to the living area. The members were ready to leave.

A hint of urgency appeared in my eyes. I wanted to leave before City Lord Robert could do something.

Even if he stayed silent, the Magic Towers and the families behind him wouldn’t be able to stay silent.

Next, the members and I checked out of the hotel. We were going towards the city gate once again, moving in a cab.

I didn’t know whether anyone else was left standing in that place. It didn’t take long for the cab to arrive in front of the city.

The cab driver was scared as well. Every driver was hesitating twice or thrice before coming here. He agreed because he couldn’t see through the strength of the wizards in the cab.

He didn’t want to offend the wrong people, so he had agreed to the request. He then landed the cab on the ground.

I saw the driver’s reaction as well. If the City Lord didn’t do anything soon, the city could face more disturbance.

I wasn’t sure what the escaped evil wizards were doing. They didn’t come back to look for their missing member. There was also a possibility that they could attack the city again.

I signaled the members to follow me. When we reached the gate, I came across a familiar face who was screening people.

The person was none other than City Guard Captain Roger, whom I had a problem with the other day.

Otto, Patrick, Hank, and old man Rock saw the City Guard Captain as well. They had disliked his behavior earlier as well.

City Guard Captain Roger saw the visitors again. His calm demeanor changed all of a sudden.
