I soon returned to the hotel. But before leaving, I left behind the zero puppet. Something was wrong with the Flynn Family. The Family Head and the butler were not good.

I’m sure the Family Head must have left a clue in the study room. I told the zero puppet to investigate. The zero puppet in the red smoke followed the others into the chamber.

The staff entered the study chamber to look for the Family Head. The red smoke had already found that two people were dead inside the place.

Instead, it scanned the fallen books and notes on the ground. There was debris everywhere. The staff then found the body of the butler, who was dead outside.

Next, they found the body of the Family Head, Neil Flynn. The Family Head’s corpse was unrecognizable. The head was almost crushed.

The mana core of the Family Head was destroyed. The internals were squashed. The Family Head Flynn suffered a worse death.

The staff were shocked and trembling in fear. They didn’t know who attacked and killed the Family Head. Their Blue Heart Tower was connected to the Water Element Tower.

It was possible that it had to do with the situation encountered by the family a few days ago. They decided to inform City Lord Elena first.

They brought his corpse outside to the hall. There was no one in the collapsed study chamber.

On the other hand, the red smoke came across a few suspicious notes and diaries. They contained details on how to control the dark mana in the corpses of wizards.

The red smoke scanned every detail and recorded the full information. The zero puppet then found details on grave robbing among the notes.

This time, the zero puppet made a decision. It stored the notes and books inside the storage ring.

Meanwhile,

City Lord Elena was in her home. It was nighttime. She was not asleep. She was awake during this time as well.

She was thinking about the situation in her city. She then received a call from the officials. She answered the call. She then learned that the Flynn Estate had been attacked.

Family Head Neil Flynn and his butler had been killed.

She took a few seconds to process the information. She once again asked the official. The official once again confirmed the news.

At the same time, the staff working in the estate spread the news outside. They learned about the situation there. They immediately dispatched a team to the place.

The news was immediately reported as breaking news. The news was being watched by many.

Back in the hotel, Supreme Wizard Rebecca watched the news as well. She was taken aback. Her expression became serious.

She didn’t know who would dare to commit such a crime. Her arrival to the city was not a secret anymore. Yet someone had decided to commit a crime.

She then got ready before leaving the hotel with the guards. When she got there, she came across one more person as well.

The person was none other than City Lord Elena.

Both of them looked at each other. They were confused as well. The city officials had secured the place. They didn’t allow the staff to leave the estate.

The crowd and media houses were gathering outside the main gate. They were being controlled as well.

Both of them then landed on the ground. Elena went to her and greeted her.

"Miss Rebecca, I didn’t expect you to come so early," Elena said.

"I watched the news. I didn’t expect that someone would dare to kill someone here," Rebecca replied.

"The officials were speaking to the staff. Let’s go and see them," Elena said.

Rebecca nodded her head. Both of them walked into the building. In the hall, the corpses of Family Head Flynn and his butler were placed. They were covered with clothes.

Rebecca and Elena both saw the corpses. They understood that the condition of the corpses was not good.

Elena swept her gaze across the people there, including the elders present in the room.

Elder Flynn, who met the members of Appraiser Frank’s Team, was there as well. He was nervous. He didn’t know how it had happened.

He was out of the estate during that time.

Elena asked, "Who first saw the corpses in the room?"

Hearing that, a few people raised their hands. There were a few people who worked in the hall at that time.

Elena nodded to them.

She then asked, "Have you guys seen anyone leaving the place?"

"What did you see?" she added.

Hearing that, one by one, they explained what they had seen there.

Rebecca was standing next to her. She was listening to their answers as well.

The red puppet collected all the evidence. The broken cursed objects were collected as well.

The zero puppet in the red smoke form quickly left the place. It spotted the female wizards and ignored them.

The staff there didn’t see anyone when they first entered the room. Everyone was petrified after hearing the explosion.

No one had the courage to go to the study room. They didn’t know what had happened. They had thought Family Head Flynn had attacked someone.

But only after entering the study chamber did they find his and the butler’s corpses.

Rebecca and Elena heard everything. It was not the answer they wanted.

Rebecca then walked up to the corpses and removed the sheet covering their bodies. She then saw the awful condition of the corpse.

It appeared like Family Head Neil Flynn was crushed under the pressure.

She then further examined it. She found out that the internals were smashed into a liquid paste. There was no sign of a heart or mana core.

They were crushed and left behind an empty vacuum in the body.

She then walked to the second corpse and removed the top white sheet. She then saw something even worse.

The skeleton of the chest and the lower bones were powdered. Rebecca couldn’t watch the ugliness anymore. She turned towards the people.

"Take me to the collapsed study room," she said to them.

One of them stepped forward. It was none other than Elder Flynn. He led the two female Supreme Wizards to the study room.
