Both of the Supreme Wizards reached the collapsed study room. Rebecca and Elena looked at each other.

Rebecca told the Elder to stay outside. Rebecca’s guards were staying outside as well. Then Rebecca and Elena entered the chamber.

They saw the destroyed rubble and chairs. Next, they began to search the room. Both of them found the signs of a magic spell used here.

Rebecca found the use of a water element spell. But she didn’t know the other magic spell. The traces were new to her.

Rebecca frowned. She turned towards Elena. She saw Elena had the same reaction as well.

"What did you find?" Rebecca asked.

"Family Head Neil Flynn used a magic spell before dying. He must have died under the spell attack of the killer. But the spell traces were new to me."

"I have never seen such a spell before," Elena commented.

Just as they were confused, both of them felt a terrifying crisis. Their hearts were filled with the dread of death.

Next, something struck the back of their necks. Both of them fainted onto the ground. The zero puppet in red smoke form heard their conversation.

It didn’t expect its master to leave behind traces. So it could not let the two people discover the secret.

The guards outside were unsure of the things that had happened here. The zero puppet in red smoke form began to destroy the traces.

It didn’t take long for the zero puppet to destroy all the evidence. After doing that, it left the chamber, but it continued to watch from hiding.

Not long after, one of the guards realized something was wrong. He entered the chamber and found out that the two people were on the ground.

They were unconscious. They were none other than Supreme Wizard Rebecca and City Lord Elena. The guard was shocked. He then woke them up.

Rebecca opened her eyes. She recalled what had happened. Her eyes flashed with a chill. She didn’t expect someone to appear silently and knock them down.

It was the same case with City Lord Elena. But she was confused about why they were still alive. If it had been an enemy, they would have died right then.

Rebecca then recalled the new trace. She turned her attention towards it. But her expression changed the next moment. Because she didn’t see the new trace this time.

Only the sign of the water element spell was there. The other trace was gone. Her heart was thrown into turmoil. The enemy’s real target was not them. The enemy had appeared because of the traces.

The enemy could be the same wizard. The enemy must have forgotten to erase the traces earlier. Her back went cold again because she felt the strength of the enemy was greater than theirs.

It could be a Magic Lord or a Forbidden Wizard. She then immediately took her device out and made a call to the elder. She then walked out of the chamber room and went somewhere isolated to talk.

City Lord Elena saw her actions. She didn’t speak, because she too found that one of the traces was gone. Her eyes flashed with regret.

Before they could analyze the trace, the enemy had erased it. It was fortunate that they were alive. She didn’t know why the enemy had left them alive.

If the enemy had wanted to, it would have been easy to kill them and erase all the traces. She was confused.

But Rebecca didn’t think of that. She assumed the enemy was in a hurry, so the enemy had left them.

Rebecca contacted her elder. She was a female Magic Lord. They were both in the same faction.

"Elder Lisa, there is a situation." After saying that, she explained the event that had taken place here.

Magic Lord Lisa heard everything. She was surprised. They were actively looking for clues.

Now that she had one, she decided to go to Blue Heart City.

"Wait there. I’ll come to the place," Lisa replied.

"Okay, Elder," Rebecca added.

After ending the call, Rebecca returned to see City Lord Elena.

City Lord Elena and Rebecca looked at each other.

Rebecca said, "My Elder is coming here. She is a Magic Lord. She is from our Sea Wave faction. She is known for solving difficult cases."

Hearing that, Elena was scared. She had heard of Elder Lisa. She was a tough wizard. She was worried that she might be blamed by her.

Rebecca saw through her thoughts.

She said, "Don’t worry, Elder Lisa won’t blame you. We just escaped death. The enemy was more powerful than us. She won’t blame you."

Hearing that, City Lord Elena sighed in relief.

Next, they decided to wait there.

At the same time, the zero puppet in red smoke form heard everything. The current strength of the zero puppet was equal to a Magic Lord.

It had escaped the probing eyes of a Magic Lord before. But it could not say the same for others. It could be found by another Magic Lord.

The zero puppet in red smoke form quickly left the place. It wanted to return to its master’s side. Soon, it returned to the Blue Drop Hotel.

In the blink of an eye, it reached the window of the hotel room. It entered the room through the gap.

On the other hand, I was sitting on the sofa. Looking at the zero puppet, I raised my eyebrows.

"What happened there?" I asked.

The zero puppet then reverted to its original form. It began to explain everything.

As I continued to listen, I was surprised by the zero puppet’s initiative in destroying the evidence. Even if they had found something, I was not afraid of the Water Elemental Tower.

But my original identity would have been exposed. Then it could have become troublesome to maintain my alternate identity.

This time, the zero puppet helped me a lot. Then I continued to listen to the zero puppet.

What the zero puppet said next was a new development.

"A Magic Lord from the Water Magic Tower is coming?" I muttered to myself.

I didn’t expect this one. Maybe I could see what they are up to. I would like to see whether they are going to find anything or not.
