The protagonist successfully leaves the city after capturing Young Master Raymond. Meanwhile, back at the Raymond Family Estate, the old Butler discovers that Young Master Raymond has vanished from the air carrier, leading to an investigation by the outer circle elders.

Raymond Family

The elders of the outer circle departed, realizing the news couldn't be contained indefinitely. It was speculated that the higher-ups might have assigned the Young Master a special mission, leading to unnecessary worry among them.

They soon arrived at the elder hall, the gathering place for the family's main elders to deliberate on important matters. Upon their entry, only a few of the main elders were present. The outer circle elders then relayed their report.

A sense of surprise washed over the main elders. They did not perceive any immediate danger, sharing the belief that the Young Master Raymond had likely journeyed elsewhere.

Indeed, the reputation of Young Master Raymond was such that they were confident no one would dare to harm him.

The outer circle elders offered helpless smiles, having held the same initial thought. However, the expression of the old butler conveyed a different sentiment, suggesting otherwise.

Consequently, they departed the hall. These main elders did not disseminate any information regarding the matter, choosing not to treat it with significant concern.

Meanwhile, all personnel aboard the sky carrier disembarked. The family guards and the employed staff returned to their respective homes.

Even the personal attendants of the Young Master Raymond left the premises, assuming that the elders would now handle the situation since it had been escalated.

Only the old butler remained on the deck. He had gleaned crucial details from the outer circle elders, particularly concerning the impersonator.

The butler found it difficult to believe the news himself. He questioned how an impersonator could have appeared so suddenly, especially after his earlier inspection of the room revealed no one inside.

Thus, he was unsure how to explain the events to others and resolved that concealing certain facts might be the better course of action. More importantly, he considered the possibility of Young Master Raymond's imminent return and that unnecessary worry should be avoided.

Outside the capital,

2 hours later,

An airship was scheduled to depart from the capital, bound for Pebble City, a frontier town. The airship carried a respectable number of passengers on its deck.

Among the passengers, I stood as one of them. This time, I had not sought refuge within the Gregor Mansion.

I was adorned with a mask, as were several other individuals. This was permissible due to the travel company, mentioned by the cab driver, having a rather lenient policy regarding passenger identification.

They exhibited no inclination to pry into the personal details of their customers. I eagerly anticipated reuniting with old man Barry and the young girl.

A fleeting glint flashed in my eyes.

I had opted not to confront the individual directly. It was deemed wiser to address the situation after reaching the mountain range.

Having achieved some clarity, I exhaled a sigh. The task had concluded successfully. I couldn't fathom the circumstances unfolding at the Raymond Family.

My actions were akin to those typically performed by individuals of the dark faction. I shook my head, attempting to dismiss such thoughts.

Meanwhile,

Within the confines of the system space grid, Wizard Raymond attempted to utilize his family's emergency secret communication methods. However, all attempts proved futile.

He deployed his communication device, but it yielded no results whatsoever.

A grim premonition gripped Raymond. His nation and family were not without adversaries; powerful enemy families lay beyond the border.

He personally had wielded dark magic to dispatch numerous soldiers, and several scions of enemy lineages had met their end by his hand.

Consequently, he recognized the perilous nature of his current predicament.

"I have a tournament to win; I cannot be stranded outside right now," Raymond muttered to himself.

Abruptly, a potential explanation dawned upon him, causing his eyes to gleam with sudden insight.

"Perhaps someone exploited the tournament atmosphere in the capital as a cover to infiltrate," he mused.

He concluded that this was the most probable scenario. The enemy had abducted him, leaving his life at their mercy without him even knowing their identity.

Based on his surroundings, Raymond surmised that he was ensnared within some form of magical artifact.

An artifact capable of imprisoning a Magic Lord would undoubtedly be potent. He deduced that its wielder must be either a Forbidden Wizard or an Elder powerhouse.

However, he recalled a staff member from the kitchen grasping his hand, an event he suspected might have been an illusion.

Raymond remained silent, anticipating the imminent appearance of his captor.

Time elapsed,

Several days later, the airship successfully reached Pebble City. A cheer erupted from the passengers on deck, celebrating a safe passage.

They had encountered no pirates nor endured any severe weather changes; the journey had been remarkably pleasant.

The passengers had spent a considerable portion of their travel time out on the deck.

On my end, I observed the city nearing in the distance. The return voyage had been smooth and trouble-free, with the exception of my meditation sessions.

I had not utilized the Gregor Mansion for any other purposes.

However, I maintained vigilance over Raymond. He had grown notably quiet, seemingly coming to terms with his current predicament.

Now that I had arrived, it was imperative to proceed directly to the Granite Crest Mountain Range. The airship docked shortly after reaching the city, settling onto the ground an hour later.

As the passengers began to disembark, I too made my departure, seamlessly exiting the city gates amidst other travelers.

Yet, they were utilizing the monstrous horse-drawn carriages, a sight that brought back memories of my initial travels. I inquired about before locating the proprietor of a carriage.

"I'm heading towards the mountain range," I stated.

"Very well, I shall convey you there. However, you must wait. Several individuals from the city are expected to join," the owner responded.

"No issue," I replied.

Subsequently, I took a seat within the carriage, this time able to relish the journey. A radiant smile graced my features.

As time elapsed, a growing number of people emerged, all with the intention of traveling to the mountain range.

Before long, my carriage was replete with passengers.

An hour later,

The carriage owner commenced the journey.

Neigh!

The monstrous steeds whinnied before taking to the skies. Their hooves struck the air, effortlessly propelling the carriage forward.

Adjacent to me sat the local inhabitants, engaged in conversation and laughter. I, too, found pleasure in listening to their discussion.

Their exchanges were replete with insights, as they delved into discussions concerning the mountain range.

The mountain range was, in truth, a treasure trove. Nevertheless, formidable monsters exceeding the 10th order made their abode there, rendering resource plundering no simple feat for others.

I accepted their words without reservation. Having obtained the super relic from the armored wizard, I surmised he might have acquired it from the very same mountain range.
