The blue-eyed wizard and his companions searched for an intruder but found no one. News arrived that Young Master Raymond was returning, interrupting their search. The protagonist, realizing Raymond's family was behind the criminal gangs, decided to capture him upon his arrival instead of infiltrating the Nyx Land. As Raymond's air carrier approached, the protagonist, disguised, managed to board it by breaking into an emergency exit. He then incapacitated a staff member, stole his uniform, and began making his way towards the deck undetected.

Black Aircarrier

My disguise went unrecognized. The uniform I wore successfully prevented any suspicion. It was indeed the correct choice. As I was about to pass the kitchen area, a voice called out, "Hey, you there. Stop."

The sudden shout from the kitchen made my heart flutter. I instructed the system to deactivate the shield, allowing the person to perceive my true strength.

Then, I turned around and entered the kitchen, where I found a portly middle-aged man dressed in chef’s attire, accompanied by other kitchen staff.

"What are you staring at?" he demanded.

"Accompany them to the young master’s room," the chef instructed.

Upon hearing this, my gaze shifted to the meticulously arranged dishes. Understanding dawned in my eyes, and I responded with a nod.

The chef let out a snort, remaining silent, and since he was in a hurry, he departed. The other staff members then turned their attention to me.

Together, we collected the food plates and began our journey towards Young Master Raymond’s chambers. Fortunately, silence prevailed amongst us.

It appeared they were solely focused on their tasks, which suited me perfectly. Soon, we emerged from the basement and reached the main deck.

A different scene unfolded on the deck. Numerous Wizards, clad in various uniforms, were present, evidently belonging to the Raymond Family.

Additionally, I noticed a few individuals in different attire. From overheard conversations, I gathered they were Young Master Raymond's retinue.

I absorbed all this information. Following the lead staff, I arrived at Young Master Raymond’s cabin. We halted before the entrance.

The senior staff member requested entry. An elderly gentleman in a tuxedo emerged from the room, seemingly the personal butler to Young Master Raymond.

He surveyed everyone, his gaze briefly sweeping over me. I recognized him as a Magic Lord.

Had he been a Forbidden Wizard, the danger would have been considerably higher. The butler then instructed the staff to enter one by one.

The protocol was for the next person to enter only after the previous one had exited.

Adhering to this, the staff followed the procedure meticulously. My anxiety subsided as I patiently awaited my opportunity, maintaining a stern expression.

Four staff members were ahead of me in line. They entered the room sequentially. Once the person directly in front of me emerged, I stepped forward and entered.

The butler cast a sideways glance but nothing more; suspicion was not aroused. As I stepped into the room, a vast, elegantly appointed white chamber greeted my eyes.

Seated on a sofa with his eyes closed was a middle-aged man with white hair. A large, white slab table stood before the sofa.

The staff began placing the food plates on the table. As I approached the table to set down my own plate, my grip faltered, and the plate tumbled to the floor.

"What have you done?" Raymond inquired, extending his hand.

In the subsequent moment, I seized his hand and instantaneously transported us both into the system's internal space. We landed within the blue grid of the system.

Raymond, with his white hair, was utterly astonished. Before he could react, I reappeared within the Gregor Mansion.

"What is happening?"

"Where is this place?"

"Who did this to me?"

Raymond began to shout uncontrollably. In the next second, he channeled his magical power, initiating a spell.

A large magic circle materialized above his head, inscribed with dark runes.

Boom!

A massive black beam erupted from the circle, directed towards the sky but failing to reach its end.

This was the system's power at work. Raymond's face clearly showed shock; he could scarcely believe his own eyes. Subsequently, he continued to unleash spells from his stored arsenal.

If these magical energy assaults were to strike the ground, they would unleash immense destruction, capable of overturning the very earth.

The reason for this limited destructive potential was that his displayed magical power was not that of a Supreme being, but distinctly that of a Magic Lord.

Control room

"So, he is a Magic Lord," I murmured, taken aback.

This incident highlights the unreliability of intelligence gathered by organizations.

Indeed, extreme caution is warranted. I am fortunate that he did not deploy his full power earlier; his reaction was standard.

Otherwise, apprehending him would have proven impossible.

Outside

The elderly butler frantically searched every corner, but Young Master Raymond was nowhere to be found in the room.

Just a minute prior...

Young Master Raymond's presence vanished abruptly. Upon entering the room, the butler discovered only fragmented food plates scattered on the floor.

The kitchen staff member had also disappeared. He was bewildered, unsure of what had transpired. Before the staff had entered the room, he had assessed their capabilities, confirming they were all Supreme Wizards. Now, with the staff member gone, his mind raced. It was conceivable that his Young Master had orchestrated this.

Given that Young Master Raymond possessed the power of a Magic Lord, it was inconceivable that any mere staff member could have posed a threat to him.Perhaps the Young Master had deployed some artifact to whisk away the staff. The butler could only stand by for a brief period. Meanwhile, Young Master Raymond's entourage arrived to investigate. However, the butler informed them that their Young Master had departed for an undisclosed location. Upon hearing this, the followers were reassured, as they too had sensed the Young Master's presence vanish. They held great faith in the Young Master's capabilities; after all, he was a cultivator who had spent time training within the Nyx Land. Therefore, how could anything possibly befall him? With their doubts allayed, the followers departed. On the other hand, the members of the Raymond Family remained stationed on the deck. They remained stationary, awaiting further orders. The obsidian air carrier proceeded on its course, soaring towards the grand capital city. No one took the apparent disappearance of Young Master Raymond with much seriousness. The butler remained confident that Young Master Raymond would make a swift return.
