The masked man, having escaped the sand hurricane, infiltrated the Supreme wizards' Sand Tower Base. While the wizards believed he had escaped using powerful magic, he was actually observing them from within the base. After the Magic Lords leading the investigation gave up the search, the masked man stole one of the flying cars and departed.

As the vehicle departed from the Sand Tower garage, it drew the attention of a wizard with striking blue eyes. He intently watched the car as it was leaving.

Without any hesitation, he unleashed his mental power to scan the vehicle. This was not a casual act; his probe reached the car, only to be met by an obstruction.

The blue-eyed wizard's eyebrows rose in surprise. He sensed something was amiss. In the very next moment, he exited the room and, in a flash, was outside the Sand Tower building.

The wizard gave immediate pursuit, swiftly closing the distance between himself and the black car.

Meanwhile, my own expression shifted dramatically.

[Ding! Magic Lord detected.]

[Ding! He is behind the host.]

The system's voice echoed in my mind. Before I could react, a powerful impact struck the car.

Boom!

The vehicle erupted in flames and was violently thrown aside. The Magic Lord, unable to sense any occupant within the wreckage, was taken aback.

It was then that he considered the possibility of the masked individual described by the gang members, which prompted his attack on the car. As he observed the car's fiery descent and subsequent crash, his eyes glinted.

Swoosh!

In the blink of an eye, he materialized before the mangled car. Simultaneously, another figure appeared beside him – the second Magic Lord.

Without a word of inquiry, upon seeing the car, he immediately cast a matching spell.

Massive, earth-toned magic circles unfurled in the sky.

Boom!

Instantly, colossal walls erupted from the ground on all four sides, completely encasing the car. Further, another barrier formed beneath it, leaving only the sky visible above.

These earthen walls were no mere constructs; they possessed a thickness exceeding thirty inches, rendering escape impossible for anyone at or below the Magic Lord level from this earth trap.

"You've arrived at precisely the right moment. However, you'll need to add a few more layers behind these walls," the blue-eyed wizard declared.

Yet, a cold sweat beaded on his forehead. His mental power had encompassed the entire car, and yet, he could not detect anyone within it now.

"How is this even possible?" he mused.

His companion had arrived just in time to cast the spell. It seemed utterly inconceivable for someone to vanish under their watchful eyes. He was utterly perplexed.

"What is it?" his friend inquired.

Noticing the blue-eyed wizard's silence, his companion unleashed a volley of spell attacks.

Boom!

One after another, earthen walls materialized, stacking behind the existing ones. In moments, an immense earth trap took shape.

Swoosh!

The commotion drew the attention of other wizards in the vicinity, who converged on the scene. Witnessing the formidable trap walls, they understood someone was contained within.

The trapped individual had to be a Magic Lord; otherwise, such a reaction from two Magic Lords would be inexplicable. Curiosity piqued, they watched.

However, the blue-eyed wizard's countenance had turned grim. He had definitively confirmed that the masked assailant had escaped.

There was no trace of him, above or below ground. This time, he was absolutely certain. His companion, unable to contain his curiosity any longer, pressed him.

"Tell me, what transpired?" he demanded.

"He escaped," the blue-eyed wizard stated flatly.

"That's impossible," his friend retorted.

Swoosh!

In the next instant, the friend vanished, reappearing atop the towering wall, which stretched over fifty meters high. He strode to the edge and peered down.

He observed the wreck of the car lying within. His mental power detected nothing. His expression altered drastically, and he descended to investigate further.

Landing on the hood, his gaze fixed on the windshield. He saw no one inside. A tempest raged within his heart. He was certain no one had escaped his notice.

There was no indication of a magic spell being used. The ambient mana remained undisturbed. How could this be?

He found himself speechless. At that moment, the blue-eyed wizard also materialized beside him.

"It's a complete mystery," he admitted.

After reviewing my status interface, I promptly closed it. My attention then shifted to the scenes unfolding outside the control room window.

A flicker of astonishment crossed my features. I hadn't anticipated the deployment of magical spells directed towards me. The entire area was enclosed by formidable walls on all four sides.

The two Magic Lords were meticulously examining the vehicle, oblivious to my presence within. Their efforts would surely end in disappointment. I had initially assumed they would depart, yet they persisted, extending their mental power to thoroughly scan the surroundings.

Meanwhile, on the exterior,

The assembled gang members were bewildered, clueless as to the unfolding events. However, six individuals within their ranks grasped the situation. A sudden realization struck them: the masked figure might have slipped away right under their watchful eyes.

They held a firm conviction that the masked individual was far from ordinary, possibly even surpassing the combined might of the two Magic Lords present. Yet, a silent agreement prevented them from voicing this unsettling thought aloud.
