The protagonist waited for the old man who never returned. A Supreme Wizard, who was searching for the poisoned girl, appeared. The protagonist moved the girl to safety and observed the wizard's search through monitors. After the wizard temporarily left, the protagonist returned the girl to the house, but the wizard detected them. The wizard attacked, but the protagonist easily repelled the assault with powerful gravity magic, severely injuring the attacker.

Stone House

The middle-aged man struggled to rise, wounded and bleeding, a sudden realization dawning on his face; he knew he had picked a fight with someone far beyond his league.

Mustering his resolve, he channeled his magic power, dark mana erupting from his body and engulfing him in an instant.

As the middle-aged man prepared to flee, I unleashed:

"Gravity Field"

With the instant magic spell cast and its range precisely controlled, the gravitational field materialized, applying immense pressure.

Though a basic field without amplification, its power was staggering, immediately bearing down on the middle-aged man.

Crack!

A sharp, deafening sound echoed as the brown-haired man's armor began to fracture under the immense force.

Puchak!

He coughed out a mouthful of blood, his internal injuries worsening dramatically.

Terror filled the middle-aged man as the dark mana shielding him was suppressed by the overwhelming pressure.

"What is happening?" he questioned internally.

He felt the attack's power rivaled that of a Level-10 Wizard, leading him to believe he faced a Supreme Wizard.

The sheer disparity in strength created an overwhelming sensation of destruction, his internal organs failing under the strain.

Supreme Wizards possess robust internal organs, typically resilient to attacks from their own level or below.

However, exceptions existed, and he knew of cultivators with rare magical abilities capable of inter-level combat.

He surmised he had encountered such an anomaly, utterly baffled by the unknown pressure crushing him.

Puchak!

Blood gushed from his wounds as the pressure intensified, sending another wave of cold dread down his spine.

He knew he could endure no more. Turning towards the stranger, his eyes pleaded for mercy.

Boom!

Witnessing his plea, I released the gravitational pressure.

In the following moment, the oppressive force vanished from the area.

Gasp!

The brown-haired man drew ragged breaths, surveying his battered state. His once black armor was now—effectively—blood-soaked.

Dents marred its surface, and blood seeped from his numerous injuries.

Seeing his dire condition, fear overshadowed his former arrogance.

A smile touched my lips as I regarded him. Unable to communicate verbally, I presumed gestures would suffice.

However, I opted to utilize the System's capabilities for communication.

The brown-haired man, misinterpreting my intentions, began emptying his storage bracelet.

Items of all sorts spilled onto the ground in a chaotic mess.

I watched, taken aback. That was not my intention; he had completely misunderstood. Just as I considered using hand gestures:

[Ding! Super relic detected.]

[Ding! The host is advised to use the item to upgrade the system.]

The System's voice chimed in my mind, stunning me. My gaze swept across the scattered items.

I had no idea which item was the super relic, and my heart pounded with excitement. I never anticipated finding another relic so soon.

This unexpected discovery occurred even before I had completed the first leg of my journey.

Employing the System's guidance once more, I located a small, silver circular disk, easily palm-sized.

It was unlike any relic I had ever encountered.

Before the middle-aged man could react, I collected the disk and a few other valuable items, storing them within the System space.

Unfazed, the middle-aged man assumed the stranger had simply stored the treasures in a storage bracelet.

Indeed, he felt a sense of relief. If the stranger's motive was merely to take his belongings, he was content to part with everything.

He possessed several unknown items, including the silver disk, whose origins he was unaware of and had previously disregarded.

"System, utilize the super relic for an upgrade," I instructed.

[Ding! Command received.]

[Ding! Super relic consumed.]

The System's notification sounded in my mind. I exhaled in relief, my earlier irritation towards the middle-aged man dissipating.

This man had inadvertently provided me with an unexpected boon.

As the System's update progressed, I waited patiently. Meanwhile, the middle-aged man remained frozen in fear, daring not to move.

He dreaded a repeat of the crushing pressure if he attempted to seek help, an experience he wished never to endure again.

Already grievously injured, his internal organs bleeding profusely, he risked bleeding to death if not treated promptly.

His eyes darted around, searching desperately for an escape.

He noticed the stranger lost in thought, gazing intently at empty space, prompting him to wonder if the stranger was plotting something sinister.

Meanwhile, I remained in my waiting position, showing no haste to conclude the middle-aged man's existence.

Not much time elapsed before another individual made their entrance into the scene. It was none other than the elder I had anticipated.

A flicker of relief crossed my vision. His arrival was precisely what I had expected, and thankfully, he had arrived. He would be the one to interrogate the middle-aged captive.

The elder's gaze fell upon the sight of an injured figure sprawled on the floor, bleeding profusely from severe wounds.

Upon recognizing the man clad in black armor, the elder's eyes blazed with fury, and he swiftly approached the fallen individual.

Though only semi-conscious, the injured man in black armor perceived the approaching shadow of the elder.

A sense of recognition seemed to dawn upon him as he made out the figure, and the middle-aged man realized this person was kin to the young girl.

A shiver ran down his spine. The elder, it turned out, was no ordinary cultivator, but a formidable Magic Lord. Genuine fear now gripped the brown-haired middle-aged man.
