Magic Lord Clint, tormented by his exposure and sleepless after consuming magic treasures, sneaks into the Crystal Community seeking revenge on Wizard Vincent Carey. Confronting Vincent on the terrace, he suspects traps and retreats without action. Relieved, Vincent vows to end Clint if he crosses Magic City's boundary, as Clint flees toward the border amid rising public outrage against the Green Elemental Tower.

Silver Tower

Wizard seeds along with official members viewed the live broadcast from Supreme Wizard Vincent's appraisal shop.

The revelation left them stunned. They remained unaware of the dangers encircling Vincent Carey.

Thus, they eagerly awaited moves from the higher-ups. Yet, no information came through. The superiors kept everything under wraps.

Manager Lara had reached out to Lord Charlotte already. She caught the news too. She realized Vincent Carey hesitated to seek their aid.

However, that wouldn't stop them from stepping in.

Vincent Carey belonged to their White Silver faction. Safeguarding members fell squarely on their shoulders. Consequently, Charlotte reached out to Erwin personally and plotted a strategy together.

They planned to handle the Green Elemental Tower through their individual methods.

No requests for support went to the higher-ups. Uncertainty lingered about their willingness to assist Vincent Carey.

Both chose to tackle the issue independently.

Green Elemental Tower

Higher-ups from the Green Elemental Tower searched for Magic Lord Clint. They dispatched agents to track him down. Soon, they reached the hotel.

After questioning the staff, they learned Magic Lord Clint wasn't there. He hadn't checked out correctly. This hinted that Magic Lord Clint could have escaped.

Without solid proof, though, they needed to question another individual. That person turned out to be Supreme Wizard Vincent.

Appraisal Shop

A couple of customers lingered in the store. Though it seemed quiet, visitors trickled in hourly. Business stayed brisk at present.

Inside the office, I sit at the desk during the break. I'm checking online news. Yesterday's bold move paid off splendidly.

Magic City and its satellite cities buzzed with shock.

Loathing for the Green Elemental Tower surged dramatically. Now, all eyes turned to the Silver Tower for retaliation. This matched precisely the response I aimed for.

At this point, I figure the Green Elemental Tower lacks time to harass me.

I already confronted the Red Flame Elemental Tower earlier. They went quiet afterward. The Green Wind Elemental Tower just got its lesson. The Black Tower comes next.

I wondered about the Black Tower's upcoming schemes.

A sharp glint flashed in my eyes. Earlier, I dispatched the Zero Puppet. It could be gathering intel even now.

Meanwhile,

The Zero Puppet reached the nearby Eastwood City. There, it picked up traces of a Black Tower Wizard.

Currently, it lurks within a private villa as red smoke. It's shadowing a female Supreme Wizard from the Black Tower.

This villa is her friend's place. As always, when pals meet, juicy topics arise.

The female wizard and her friend chatted about various matters before turning to Crystal City.

"I didn’t expect the Green Elemental Tower to get exposed. Now everyone is laughing at them," the villa owner remarked with a grin.

"Harumph!"

"Both the Flame Elemental Tower and Green Wind Elemental Tower lost the opportunity. They failed to do anything to the Silver Tower," the female wizard snorted.

"But our Black Tower is different. If we plan to do something, we won’t fail," the female wizard continued.

"Don’t tell me your tower has planned something," the villa owner inquired. She had blonde hair.

The Black Tower female wizard sported black hair.

She nodded and replied, "Yes, the higher-ups are planning. I heard from one of the elders that they are waiting for Supreme Wizard Vincent to leave the city."

"If he takes steps outside the Magic Union territory, then they will take action," she continued.

Gasp!

The villa owner gasped in surprise. She grasped why the Black Tower earned its sinister reputation. They stood apart from other towers.

Once they targeted an enemy, they crafted an ironclad scheme to wipe them out.

They applied the same tactic to Supreme Wizard Vincent. They knew he wouldn't linger in Magic City forever.

Business finished, he would exit the territory. Thus, they bided their time perfectly.

The pair conversed freely. Unbeknownst to them, an eavesdropper caught every word.

The Zero Puppet rejoiced at uncovering crucial details. Moments later, the red smoke slipped away from the villa.

Now, it's heading back to Crystal City.

Dark Territory

Forbidden Wizard Remi resides in a sparsely populated city. News of Supreme Wizard Vincent and his new appraisal shop reached him.

He had eyed the young man since joining the Silver Tower.

Back then, the youth was merely a Wizard Seed, not yet official. Others shielded him, and he rarely ventured outside the tower.

Today, that very kid has matured into a Supreme Wizard of the Silver Tower. Moreover, word has it that he's aligned himself with the White Silver faction.

This is the very faction shared by the Forbidden Wizards Charlotte and Remi. It draws unwanted attention to the kid even within Mage Union territory.

Every Magic Tower receives backing from mighty wizard families. The Black Tower follows the exact same pattern.

However, these wizard families refuse to violate the rules. They dread the Mage Union's top authorities.

Should those authorities learn of the families' involvement, they would never remain quiet.

Minor squabbles are tolerated, yet the higher-ups draw a firm line against crossing boundaries.

Vincent Carey, the intended target, enjoys support from countless allies. This very backing made the families waver. Thus, the higher-ups had no recourse but to strike at him beyond the territory.

They understood Vincent would venture out eventually. Therefore, they resolved to strike precisely then. Still, they guarded this plan in utmost secrecy.

Unwittingly, the Flame Elemental Tower and the Green Wind Elemental Tower shield their movements.
