Elder Blake learns of Magic Lord Clint and Supreme Wizards Wade and Cody from the Green Elemental Tower arriving in Crystal City, rivals intent on confronting Wizard Vincent. Blake alerts Vincent, who warns his shop members to stay vigilant while keeping business open, then escorts the visitors amid the shop's booming success, sparking their envy and malice. Inside Vincent's office, Clint hurls insults to provoke a reaction, but Vincent remains silent as observers like Otto overhear the tension from outside.

Crystal City Shop

Inside the office, I'm putting up with the insults from Magic Lord Clint. His two companions behind him display equal arrogance.

"I heard you lack any background. You're from a distant region. Yet you dared to offend the Green Elemental Tower."

"Do you think you can escape?" Clint declared in a chilling tone.

"Lord, he's nothing but a coward. He won't respond to any of your questions," Wade remarked with a smirk.

Cody nodded and added, "Lord, we're treating this guy with undue seriousness. He won't be leaving this place."

At those words, my gaze grew icy. These individuals clearly won't back off without some action from me.

I summoned Magic Lord Rock into the office. The elderly Rock entered the room. Upon his arrival, Magic Lord Clint and the two Supreme Wizards fell silent.

A sharp glint flashed in Clint's eyes. He recognized this figure, the one who had clashed with Magic Lord Scott.

Clint's face grew grave. Wade and Cody quieted down. They eyed the old man with a sense of dread.

"Now, will you talk?"

"What is it you want?" I questioned Magic Lord Clint once more.

Magic Lord Clint sneered, "Do you believe a mere Magic Lord can intimidate me?"

"I expect you to remain here."

"Coward!" Clint spat in a disdainful manner.

He showed no fear despite the presence of a Magic Lord. Only then did the wizards behind him ease up.

Old man Rock stood unsure of what to say. He awaited Master Vincent's command. The moment Master Vincent issued it, he was prepared to subdue the man.

In truth, this played right into Magic Lord Clint's scheme. He desired an attack from them. Should a staff member strike him, it would serve his purpose even better.

Since they weren't affiliated with the Silver Tower, they couldn't evade the Green Elemental Tower's retribution.

No one would challenge him if he disciplined them. Meanwhile, I pierced through their intentions.

"Fetch Elder Blake," I instructed old man Rock.

Rock gave a nod before stepping out.

Clint persisted in his defiance, offering zero respect. Wade and Cody gained newfound admiration for Magic Lord Clint.

Even with two Magic Lords backing Vincent Carey, Magic Lord Clint remained undaunted.

Elder Blake then entered the room.

I glanced at him and commanded, "Elder Blake, escort this individual out. He's no longer welcome here."

"You dare!" Magic Lord Clint bellowed threateningly.

Blake froze momentarily. He sensed Magic Lord Clint's malicious intent.

"Magic Lord Clint, you must depart from here. Refuse, and I'll alert the Silver Tower's superiors," Blake warned coldly.

Clint's smirk vanished at that. He knew he'd overstepped, though he'd partially succeeded in his mission.

To everyone's shock, he departed. He exited with his followers. I arched my brows in astonishment.

Elder Blake and old man Rock exchanged glances. They'd anticipated a fiercer confrontation.

"Elder Blake, tail this man. I suspect they won't relent so easily," I directed him.

Blake nodded and exited the room. Old man Rock stayed behind. I expressed gratitude to old man Rock and told him to resume his duties.

Once the old man departed, my eyes chilled. I sensed Magic Lord Clint wouldn't cease. The Green Elemental Tower must have tasked him with something.

A few minutes passed,

I headed back to my quarters. There, I deployed Zero Puppet outdoors. The dark red mist materialized into Zero Puppet.

"Master," Zero Puppet acknowledged.

"You're familiar with Elder Blake, correct? I sent him to track the Green Elemental Tower's wizards—one Magic Lord and two Supreme Wizards."

"Their names: Clint, Wade, and Cody. Monitor them closely. Uncover their schemes. Report back at midnight as always," I assigned Zero Puppet the new task.

Zero Puppet assented. Instantly, it dissolved into dark red smoke. In a flash, the smoke slipped out through the window's crack.

A flicker of reassurance crossed my eyes. I hold absolute faith in Zero Puppet. It will uncover vital details.

Afterward, I exited the room and went back to the gallery office. I carried on normally, lounging on the sofa once more.

Outside,

Magic Lord Clint stayed within the city. He made his way to the City Administration Building alongside Elder Blake.

Elder Blake assumed Magic Lord Clint would depart, but he hadn't foreseen Clint tagging along.

"What scheme are they hatching?" Blake pondered.

He had to safeguard Vincent Carey. Any harm to Vincent Carey meant his own doom.

Magic Lord Clint was aware Vincent Carey had dispatched this follower. That's why he'd led him here.

Blake inquired, "Elder Clint, when do you plan to depart?"

"I'm intending to linger in Crystal City for now. Arrange lodging for us, if you please," Clint replied.

Blake's eyes sparked briefly with anger. Though furious, he followed protocol. As part of the Mage Union, the Green Elemental Tower merited guest privileges.

Particularly a Magic Lord, who commanded respect universally. Unlike Wizard Vincent, he couldn't afford rudeness.

"Very well, I'll secure rooms at the finest hotel," Elder Blake assured them.

Unbeknownst to them, the dark red smoke trailed closely, gathering intel.

Magic Lord Clint parted from the group. He and his subordinates settled into the guest quarters. After booking, they could access the hotel.

This move had purpose. He could've reserved rooms independently, but he'd positioned himself as a guest.

The city administration bore the duty to shield visitors.

Any incident involving them would implicate the Silver Tower. Thus, his role involved goading Wizard Vincent in the days ahead.
