In SunHaven City, the protagonist arrived by cab, probed the administration building square with the system, and detected a hidden underground area protected by multiple magic formations, deciding it was inaccessible. He then hired another cab to tour important sites linked to the city administration and Magic Towers. Meanwhile, Supreme Wizard Gary Crest of the Flame Elemental Tower investigated the destruction of spy cameras in the protagonist's former hotel room and ordered the staff to alert him if the guest returns.

SunHaven City

The driver guided me past several structures in the area, yet nothing turned up when I activated the system probe.

A hunch told me the Mage Union had already gathered all the vital items. Any scraps left behind were likely snatched by the Flame Elemental Tower.

Right as I figured visiting the city had been pointless:

"Guest, we've arrived at yet another key spot. This building buzzes with activity around the clock,"

"It's the training center for the city's wizards. Most come from wizard clans," the driver explained.

Upon hearing this, my eyebrows shot up in astonishment. An impulse struck me to scan the location, so I instructed the driver to pull over.

The driver pulled into the parking lot. As soon as the vehicle stopped, I swung the door open and stepped outside.

I asked the driver to hold on. He understood I planned to check things out. I began approaching the building.

This wasn't just any edifice; it was a towering glass skyscraper. Entering, I spotted numerous service counters.

I strolled over to one casually. A woman staffed the desk behind it.

"Hello, how may I assist you?" she inquired.

"I heard this is a fantastic training facility," I remarked to her.

"Indeed, we offer mana chambers along with various training areas for honing elemental spells," the staff member responded.

That news made my eyebrows lift once more in shock. Yet training wasn't my purpose here. I gave her a nod.

"I'll explore the area first," I stated, then ventured deeper inside.

Next, I activated the system probe function.

[Ding! Hidden Dangerous Area detected.]

[Ding! The place is protected with magic formations.]

The system's alert echoed in my head. Disappointment washed over me. I'd hoped for leads, but shattering those magic formations was impossible.

Doing so would spark major trouble. I chose to leave; locating an unguarded dangerous zone remained my priority.

Other matters couldn't claim my time. Upon exiting, the driver was still waiting.

Evening had fallen. I resolved to check the leftover sites tomorrow. Departing the city unsatisfied wasn't an option.

I directed the driver to return me to the hotel. I climbed into the car as he took his seat up front.

Swoosh!

He ignited the engine, and the vehicle sped off toward the Sun Crest Hotel.

20 minutes later,

The car pulled up before the Sun Crest Hotel. I got out and settled the fare with the driver.

Once the car vanished, my eyes drifted to the doorway. A line of dark vehicles caught my notice.

I glanced their way. With so many luxury cars present, I assumed big shots had shown up.

Averting my eyes from them, I passed through the entrance. Abruptly, a sharp stare bored into me. Tracing it, I spotted a male and female staffer eyeing me.

Their faces seemed strange. Malice gleamed in their stares; mischief brewed. Ignoring it, I headed to room 210.

Arriving at the room, I went in and locked the door. Flipping on the lights, I surveyed the interior.

Right away, I saw the chairs and tables shifted out of place. Alertness surged through my mind. Trouble was afoot.

At once, I triggered the system function.

[Ding! Sign of intruder detected.]

The system alert rang in my mind. Confirmation gleamed in my eyes. Spy cams sprang to thought.

I'd smashed the spy cams prior to departing the hotel. The staff might have gotten a warning.

Spare keys probably let them inspect the room. Those staffers' looks had been sinister before.

Those pair surely ransacked the space; hence their odd behavior.

Barring error, events would unfold shortly. Piecing it together, I steadied my breathing.

Grabbing my device, I dialed Hank. Updates from home were needed.

The video linked up, and Hank picked up.

"Master?" Hank said in greeting.

I nodded at Hank. The gallery room showed in the backdrop.

"What's happening over there?" I questioned him.

Outside,

The staff duo relayed the update to the young master. Gary Crest awaited the guest's arrival. He burned to identify the bold offender.

He exited his quarters and marched to room 210. The staffers trailed hastily.

Anxiety gripped them sans the hotel manager. His presence would rein in the young master.

Should rage seize the young master now, none could halt him.

The male staffer alerted the young master's guards against potential chaos.

Gary Crest reached the entrance. Fury twisted his features savagely. The staffers fretted; mishaps were the last thing desired.

Meanwhile,

Hank and I chatted via call. He detailed the clients' desire to meet me.

Fear of my exit gripped them post-shop ownership change, unaware it was still me.

Suddenly, knocks echoed at the door. I informed Hank of my guest and cut the line.

Stowing the device, I approached and unlatched the door.

Instantly, a crimson-haired fellow loomed outside. The pair of staffers hovered behind. His elite bearing was obvious.

"Who are you?"

"What do you want?" I fired the queries rapidly.

Tension gripped both staffers, eyes locked on their young master.

Yet the man's expression twisted wildly. Rage evaporated. Terror now dominated his gaze, for he knew Vincent Carey.
