Getting spoiled in a woman dominating world Chapter 579: Blood sample
Previously on Getting spoiled in a woman dominating world...
Looking at the beautiful black-haired woman in front of him, Brandon blinked in surprise.
’...Mother?’
Marzella let go of his hand and pointed at the nearby blood donation camp, "Do you wish to donate blood?"
Brandon stared at her for a long moment and he shook his head slightly, trying to clear his thoughts as he replied.
"Uh... sure. I can donate."
Marzella smiled faintly as she gestured for him to follow her "Come with me. The process is quick and painless."
Brandon followed her into the blood donation camp with his eyes still fixed on her back as he tried to make sense of the situation.
Marzella had a slight frown on her face ’This youngman looks promising. I need strong blood to continue my experiment.’
’If the government knew that I am collecting blood samples in the name of donation... for my research, they would kill me.’
’Especially, since my research is to create a man who can use ether...’
The camp was set up in a large open area, with several tents and stations where volunteers and staff were helping donors.
Nurses moved around, checking vitals and preparing equipment as a few people waited in line.
Marzella led him to a private tent, closing the flap behind them as she gestured for him to sit on the chair.
"Roll up your sleeve, please."
Brandon watched her as she inserted the needle into his arm, the blood flowing smoothly into the bag. The process was quick, just as she had said.
When the donation was complete, Marzella removed the needle and pressed a cotton pad against his arm with a gentle touch.
She smiled faintly as she looked at him "What is your name?"
"Brandon,"
"And your blood group?"
"B+."
"Age?"
"25."
Marzella nodded, writing down the information on a small clipboard as she asked one more question.
"And your contact information? We like to keep records for follow-up in case of any issues."
Brandon hesitated for a moment, then gave her an email address.
Marzella wrote it down carefully, "Thank you for your donation, Brandon. You’ve helped many people today."
Brandon nodded, standing up as he pressed the cotton pad against his arm. "No problem. Glad to help."
Marzella’s smile remained gentle as she watched him leave the tent, ’Brandon... 25 years old, B+ blood group. Strong, healthy.’
’I should look into his blood later... for some reason, I have a strange feeling about him.’
Brandon stepped out of the tent and the morning sun was warm on his face as he tried to make sense of the encounter.
’Why is she working in a donation center? isn’t she a researcher... and supposed to be-’
His frown deepened ’Fuck... she was getting the blood samples for her research probably.’
A deep sigh escaped his lips as he finally realized ’This... bootstrap paradox... so this is how she got a blood sample to continue her research.’
’Taking it from the experiment itself.’
’So that means, she didn’t create the experiment herself; it was me from future who-’
He is the catalyst.
By coming back in time and donating his blood here in 2027, he had unknowingly provided his mother with the perfect genetic material she would later use to create him.
Brandon let out a long, bitter laugh under his breath, running a hand through his hair as he looked up at the towering skyscrapers around him.
’So even my own suffering... I caused it myself.’
Yet strangely, there was no anger.
He already accepted the time paradox long ago.
This was just another thread in the endless tapestry.
Opening his eyes, Brandon glanced back toward the donation tent where Marzella was still working.
She has no idea who he is. To her, he is just another healthy donor with unusually strong vitality.
He turned away and began walking again, slipping his hands back into his pockets as the crowd moved around him.
’I’ll stay around her for the time being, I need to see how this all started...’
---
Night in her lab
The laboratory was dimly lit with the only light coming from the soft blue glow of monitors and the faint hum of refrigeration units.
Glass vials and test tubes lined the shelves, each containing various samples and chemicals.
Marzella stood in front of a large microscope, her long black hair tied back in a neat ponytail as she looked at the blood sample from Brandon.
Her eyes were wide with shock as she adjusted the magnification, her fingers trembling slightly on the controls.
"Impossible..."
The blood sample was unlike anything she had seen before. Under the microscope, the red blood cells were normal at first glance but as she zoomed in further, she saw them.
Ether particles.
Tiny, glowing specks of ether floating within the blood, moving with a life of their own.
Marzella stepped back from the microscope, her hand coming up to cover her mouth as she tried to process what she was seeing.
"This... this is ether. Actual ether particles in a man’s blood. How is this possible?"
She had spent years trying to create a man capable of wielding ether and now, in a simple blood donation from a 25-year-old man, she found it.
Marzella’s eyes gleamed with excitement as she looked at the vial of Brandon’s blood, her mind racing with possibilities.
’If I can isolate these particles... if I can replicate them... I can create the perfect subject. A man who can use ether naturally.’
She carefully placed the vial in a secure container, her hands still trembling with the weight of the discovery.
’Brandon... who are you? How did you get ether in your blood?’
She sat down at her desk, pulling up her research notes on the computer as she began to analyze the data from the sample.
The screen glowed with charts and graphs, showing the unusual energy readings from Brandon’s blood.
She then looked at his information on the clipboard.
Name: Brandon
Blood Group: B+
Age: 25
Contact: [Email Address Only]
’How am I going to contact him?’
Marzella leaned back in her chair, her long black hair falling over her shoulders as she tapped her fingers on the desk.
The discovery was too important to let slip away. She need more samples and study him further.
She wants to understand how a normal human could have ether particles in his blood.
She opened her laptop and quickly typed in his email address as she composed a message.
Subject: Follow-up on Your Blood Donation
Mister Brandon,
Thank you for your generous donation today. Your blood sample has shown some interesting properties that we would like to study further for medical research.
Would you be available for a follow-up appointment at your earliest convenience? We can arrange a time that works for you.
Dr. Marzella Quillhart
She read the email several times, making sure it sounded professional and non-threatening.
She didn’t want to scare him off.
With a deep breath, she hit send and leaned back in the chair.
’I hope he replies.’
---
The soft glow of multiple computer screens illuminated the dimly lit net cafe.
The hum of cooling fans and the occasional click of keyboards filled the air as night owls and gamers occupied the rows of booths.
Brandon sat in a quiet corner booth, the blue light of the monitor casting shadows across his sharp, handsome face.
He created a temporary email address earlier, the one he randomly gave to Marzella.
He leaned back in the gaming chair, one hand lazily moving the mouse as he played an old single-player RPG on the screen.
A few minutes passed.
Then, a soft notification sound chimed from the computer.
Brandon paused the game and clicked on the inbox in the mail.
Reading the mail, he smiled dryly ’Sure, we can meet tomorrow.’
