A baby girl named Jiang Yue, who is actually a transmigration from a post-apocalyptic world, forces her family to sign a disowning contract and leaves them behind. She finds herself in a peaceful rural setting, regretting her current three-year-old body.

It was precisely this reason that prompted the uncle's swift agreement to take her under his protection. Subsequently, following the demise of the host's mother, the Jiang family resolved to sell the young child.

A broker had been secured, and the price had been finalized. Just as the Jiang family was poised to part with the little girl with great satisfaction and retrieve the sum of money, the child contracted a cold due to the inadequate care she received from that particular household. Her condition deteriorated progressively, presenting a grave and near-fatal appearance. Understandably, the prospective buyer balked at spending funds on an individual in such a critical state of health.

The Jiang family harbored intentions of awaiting the host's recovery before attempting another sale. However, they were unwilling to expend their own resources on medicinal remedies, thus leaving the child to face her fate independently.

In this manner, the little girl departed from this world. The subsequent awakening of that child's eyes welcomed an entirely different individual.

Such a despicable relative necessitated a complete severance of all ties. Though she appeared diminutive, her body's inherent agility, resilience, and swift reflexes, honed by the apocalyptic era of her prior existence, were more than sufficient to confront those deceitful individuals.

The cataclysm brought about by the zombie outbreak ushered in an apocalyptic era, where survival of the fittest became the prevailing law. Humanity's survivors underwent significant evolutionary advancements, and she was no exception.

While her bodily functions evolved, she also acquired a unique seed space.

This spatial dimension was replete with a diverse array of seeds. Furthermore, it contained a universal nursery capable of accelerating the germination of any seed within a single day, transforming them into robust saplings.

However, during that period, ensconced within a world overrun by rampant zombies, any planted flora faced imminent destruction. Consequently, she never had the opportunity to utilize this extraordinary space.

Her original plan involved deploying it once the zombie threat was neutralized and reconstruction efforts commenced. Alas, fate intervened with her transmigration.

Nevertheless, the post-apocalyptic era was populated by numerous formidable individuals, and a substantial reserve of seeds had been stockpiled as a contingency. Rebuilding a home remained a feasible endeavor, even without her presence.

Jiang Yue's gaze settled upon the mountainous terrain at the edge of the fields before she proceeded towards it.

For many years, she had been deprived of such breathtaking natural splendor. The apocalyptic period had been utterly devoid of vegetation, reducing lush forests to desolate wastelands. The allure of the mountains, offering a breath of fresh air, became her immediate desire.

......

Perhaps she could cultivate plants within the mountains, leveraging her spatial abilities to nurture seedlings. The prospect of hunting also offered a means to avoid starvation.

As for the future, her physical form was merely three and a half years old; a considerable journey lay ahead. She felt no urgency to contemplate distant prospects.

Jiang Yue ascended the mountain, step by measured step.

In the fields flanking the embankment, cultivators were diligently uprooting barnyard grass, a weed that bore a striking resemblance to rice. The farmers, engrossed in their task, seemed oblivious to the small girl making her ascent.

Upon reaching the mountain's base, she encountered a hunchbacked farmer in his forties, descending with a substantial load of firewood. He was clad in simple, common attire.

The original inhabitant of this body retained memories of this individual. He was known as Xue Dafu from a neighboring village. The young girl had accompanied her mother up the mountain to gather firewood on prior occasions and had encountered him numerous times. This man was exceptionally kind, even assisting her in collecting firewood for her family when her mother fell ill.

"Xue Yan, have you truly decided against journeying to town for your studies?" Xue Dafu inquired, turning to address his youngest son as he maneuvered the firewood down the slope.

It was due to this turn that he failed to notice Jiang Yue.

Jiang Yue then perceived the presence of a slender, gentle-featured boy positioned behind Xue Dafu.

The boy was burdened by a small bundle of firewood, appearing to struggle under its weight. His attire was unlike that of a typical farmer's child, comprising a white robe of crudely stitched fabric.

This was Xue Yan, Xue Dafu's seven-year-old son.
