Gladius arrives and reveals that Adam's strength comes from winning battles, which hones his will and instincts. He then shows Silvana a vision of his own terrifying purple flame, explaining that Adam's true flame cannot be seen without him present. Gladius reveals that Adam's potential advancement to the Second Circle depends not just on his power, but also on Silvana's own strength and their combined effort to destroy the Grand Barrier. Silvana, determined to improve, asks Gladius what she needs to do, and he points to the moon, hinting at her next challenge.
