Suzi and Saqin were caught in a powerful etheric surge. King Solomon transformed, revealing draconic features and activating a powerful artifact, the "Incandescent Blaze," to destroy the Throat of the Abyss. Just as victory seemed assured, the Throat of the Abyss reappeared, targeting the baby Suzi held. Suzi, realizing the baby's importance, used her remaining strength to save Saqin and the child.

It all happened too quickly; Saqin had no idea what was going on. He just felt the surroundings suddenly darken, and then Suzi forcefully pushed him aside.

When Saqin turned his head, he only saw the sky filled with starlight crashing down again. The Throat of the Abyss had retreated into the Curved Pathway Rift in advance, and this bloated worm was constantly gnawing at the pathway, appearing and disappearing in this strange space, flickering, moving, with deadly starlight tailing it indistinctly.

Saqin didn’t care about these things. He detected that pungent smell of blood and slowly moved his gaze back to the ground. He saw Suzi lying behind him, blood flowing along her remaining body, extending backward to beneath the still-unhealed Curved Pathway Rift.

"Ha... Ah... Ah..."

Saqin’s eyes widened, his mind went blank. He wanted to say something, but his chest heaved sharply, the excessive breathing made his head dizzy, and his abdomen was in agony.

He slowly held Suzi’s body in his arms; it all happened too fast, as if an illusion, hard to accept.

Saqin helplessly cried out.

With his cries, the entire Golden Palace began to shake and tremble, the Throat of the Abyss tearing out one Curved Pathway Rift after another; the stability of the entire space was on the brink of collapse, and tons of black mist was being continuously sucked and spit out by it, the darkness of death gradually enveloping everything.

None of this mattered to Saqin anymore.

Urgent footsteps came from behind, King Solomon quickly arrived beside Saqin, leaving a trail of fire along his path.

"He cannot stay here," King Solomon said, looking at the infant on the ground, "Mammon doesn’t understand what we’re researching, but that doesn’t stop him from destroying everything. We must send him away, let him believe he’s successful..."

"Aren’t you sad about this?" Saqin interrupted King Solomon, yelling at him angrily.

King Solomon coldly replied, "I will be sad, but not now."

"Damn it, you cold-blooded bastard, why have you turned into this!"

Saqin couldn’t understand why Hill had become like this; ever since he put on that mask, Hill seemed to have changed entirely.

King Solomon reached out and grabbed Saqin’s hair, lifting him forcefully upward.

"I will send him to a place no one can find. He will survive and grow up healthy." He displayed no intention to explain, only gave an icy declaration.

"As for why all this happened... you will understand me."

Light burned fiercely, incinerating the black mist, and consuming everything.

All emotions, all joys and sorrows, fade away in this light; Saqin stared blankly, watching it all, seeing King Solomon take the infant away. Saqin didn’t know what went wrong on that day, like a sudden nightmare... perhaps this is a nightmare, only one from which Saqin cannot wake.

In a daze, Saqin heard the clear, crying sound of an infant, and heard a familiar voice calling his name.

"Saqin!"

"Saqin!"

"Bologue!"

Bologue abruptly opened his eyes, the surrounding sea of fire disappeared, the wandering Throat of the Abyss was gone, and what lay before Bologue was just the grand burning white storm, while he, supposed to be continuously falling towards the Daylight Core, was now miraculously stable in mid-air.

The voice called again.

"Wake up! Bologue!"

Bologue turned his head, now noticing his hand was tightly gripped by someone, not only his hand but also holding onto the steel cable, formed by several saw blades twisted together.

"You sure sleep well!" Aimou, while grabbing the sharp steel cable, exerted all her strength to pull Bologue back, "Even in such a ghostly place, you can fall asleep!"

Just as Bologue was about to be completely captured by the Daylight Core, Aimou decisively lifted the Heart Overlapping Shadow, thus timely saving Bologue.

Bologue still felt somewhat dazed; he had just experienced a tremendously long and winding reminiscence, such a firsthand immersive feeling left him feeling worlds apart.

There were moments when he truly believed he was Saqin, still caught in the sorrow of Suzi.

But besides this, there were also those memories from Saqin’s Soul Echoes, that enormous volume of information.

Fortunately, Bologue was not overly confused and immediately made a decision.

Matters have priorities; the most crucial now is solving the crisis of Yidir, and other issues can be dealt with later.

Bologue gripped the steel cable tightly and swiftly climbed back along it, passing through the white dust formed by countless souls. He once again saw that massive bloody meat stretching from the Material Realm into the Ethereal Realm, wildly twisting its body, proclaiming its terrifying existence to all living beings.

"Can you enter that state again?"

Aimou and Bologue overlapped again, loudly asking, "Maintaining that state might bestow damage on it!"

Damage can be done but it’s not enough to kill.

Bologue shook his head, softly said, "I have another way."

Another way?

The battle has persisted this long, Aimou thought Bologue had already exposed all his trump cards; what other solution could he possibly have now?

Bologue didn’t explain but turned back, looked towards the storm spanning the sky and the earth, talking to himself.

"I don’t know if you are the Devil or something else, but since you allowed me to witness Saqin’s Soul Echoes, I suppose you want me to see more than just this old phantom?"

Bologue’s gaze moved forward, the Ether burst forth continuously, Deceitful Snake Scale Liquid flung out one Silver Hand after another.

He grasped again that giant flesh, Yidir also sensed Bologue’s return, but this time Bologue’s target wasn’t Yidir, but those artificial celestial bodies, between reality and illusion, atop the Dome.

Numerous Bone Spear limbs sped towards Bologue, who leapt boldly, brushing past the deadly assault, drawing ever closer to the arrayed stars, until they were within reach.

Until, seemingly predestined, Bologue’s hand penetrated the illusion, reached into the heart of those stars, amid the fiercely burning Daylight Sun, wherein Bologue clenched the burning Crystal Core.

"There’s an unspeakable sense of absurdity..." Bologue remarked.

Once, the object in hand had burnt Bologue into a salt pillar, keeping him trapped between life and death for years; now Bologue had astonishingly grasped it, transforming it into his flame.

Grudge pointed directly at the massive entity below, the Crystal Core erupted with layers of blazing light, spreading along the dark Blade.

The Blazing Fire Sword descended from the heavens.
