"That is not much?" Duan Lie was a little speechless.

A lifetime discount on spirit herbs even when you are not part of Alchemy Pavilion is quite a lot. Spirit herbs aren’t cheap, and there didn’t seem to be any kind of restriction on how much Lin Feng could purchase. He could even get those special rare herbs which were grown in the spirit fields of Alchemy Pavilion.

"Well, for Sword Pavilion, which is basically broke right now, it really isn’t much. Anyway, do you want to put any wager on who would win? I am going to open a small gambling among us.." Cui Shuyin smiled, she wasn’t going to let go of a perfect chance like this to get some resources.

Duan Lie nodded, "I am more than interested, so what are the stakes.."

The disciple beside Duan Lie was a little shocked, she couldn’t believe that this was a small wager.

"Well, how about adding a Dominion Grade Treasure along with it?" Duan Lie spoke with interest.

Cui Shuyin thought for a moment before agreeing, "Alright, but we have to ask others too, if they agree, then I won’t have a problem.."

"Fair enough.." Duan Lie nodded in understanding.

The disciple of Duan Lie sighed, her master was a little gambling addict and she hated it, he lost more than he won and still had the audacity to increase the wager.

She turned her attention towards Lin Feng and noticed his calm expression, like he wasn’t interested in anything, similar to how he was when he climbed the stairs of will.

She couldn’t believe that someone weaker than her possessed indomitable will, just how did he achieve it?

Lin Feng, who had felt her gaze, turned towards her and nodded, "Greetings, senior sister..." He didn’t know her name, so he stretched his voice slightly at the end.

Lin Feng nodded.

Ruolan Xin tilted her head slightly and asked the question she wanted to ask most, "Junior Brother, how strong are you?"

She had heard that he had beaten a cultivator with a minor realm higher than him, but that was something most of the talented disciples of Mysterious Heaven Sect were capable of doing. After all, the said cultivator was definitely average, so judging his strength was impossible from that.

Lin Feng smiled slightly and shook his head, "I am just a weak alchemist, senior sister Ruo."

"Yes, Feng’er is just a weak alchemist, you can defeat him with just one finger, Ruolan." Cui Shuyin chipped in with a slightly saddened expression.

Duan Lie squinted his eyes slightly, he knew very well what she was trying to do. Even so, it really was hard to judge if Lin Feng was really strong or not.

Strictly speaking, Cui Shuyin had mentioned that Lin Feng had just recently arrived in this world, she didn’t specify if he was from the Lower Worlds or some other Node Worlds, but most cultivators arrived from the Lower Worlds in search for resources, so it was much more likely that Lin Feng was from the Lower Worlds.

This meant Lin Feng didn’t have enough time to practice any good techniques to increase his strength.

If Lin Feng really fought against someone with good experience and better techniques, then he wouldn’t be able to win, the difference in battle techniques from the Lower Worlds to a Node World was very high.

Duan Lie sighed inwardly, his gut told him that Lin Feng was someone who shouldn’t be judged logically, but willpower was vastly different from the real strength of a cultivator. He had to think carefully about whom he should pick.

Soon, they arrived at a part of the sect which consisted of peaks filled with multiple spirit fields. Lots of spirit herbs were growing as far as their eyes could see. This was the Alchemy Pavilion’s territory, the most resourceful territory of the whole sect.

There was one peak which consisted of most of the big pavilions, and that was the main peak of the Alchemy Pavilion, the place where they were heading too.

Lin Feng was a little surprised, looking at all the spirit herbs growing on these peaks, he had to say this was far more than he had expected. Mysterious Heaven Sect was really resourceful.

When they came to the main peak, Lin Feng saw a huge arena where most of the cultivators were going and was again surprised at the sheer amount of crowd present there.

"Alchemy Pavilion’s tournament is one of the most famous tournaments because everyone wants to know the talent of the alchemists from whom they buy pills.." Cui Shuyin mentioned when she saw Lin Feng’s slight change in expression, "Come, let’s go meet Elder Shen and see who will be your opponent.."

Cui Shuyin took Lin Feng towards a specific part of the arena, and Duan Lie followed along with Ruolan Xin.

They arrived at a small platform where there were already five head elders present along with Shen Tianji and a single disciple by his side.

Lin Feng noticed two figures whom he had already seen before, Qin Ruoxuan and Han Kuang.

"Finally, you two came.." Qin Ruoxuan smiled, "Who would have thought we would get to watch a challenge match like this, I am already quite excited about it.."

"When are you not excited?" Cui Shuyin shook her head, "Anyway, so Fan Shengyuan is the one you chose, Elder Shen?"

"That’s right, their cultivation realms are equal, so I hope there isn’t any issue..." Shen Tianji nodded.

Although it wasn’t totally fair in that sense, Fan Shengyuan was about to break through.
