Millions of soldiers have gathered outside Axel City, awaiting war. Aditya surveys the destruction caused by his Heavenly Tribulation, vowing to compensate for the damages while preparing his strategy for the upcoming conflict. He discusses his dual nature as a merciful ruler to his people and a ruthless enemy on the battlefield with his trusted general, Spencer, who anticipates the world witnessing the Dragon Monarch's full might.

The representatives of every noble faction had gathered together in one designated area. Meanwhile, the commanders of their respective armies stood at the front of their troops, with the banners of their noble houses raised proudly beside them.

The millions of soldiers were arranged according to their respective noble factions. Each noble house occupied its own enormous rectangular formation, with thousands or tens of thousands of soldiers standing in organised rows behind their commander.

These formations were positioned beside one another with carefully maintained gaps between them, creating one massive and orderly allied army that stretched across the land as far as the eye could see. From above, the different formations almost looked like enormous rectangular blocks placed side by side, each distinguished by the colors and banners of the noble house they belonged to.

The commanders and noble representatives remained silent as they waited. They were all waiting for one person to appear.

However, while the nobles and commanders maintained their silence, the ordinary soldiers found it much more difficult to suppress their curiosity. Quiet whispers gradually began spreading through some of the formations.

"I heard that the Supreme Commander is only a Fifth Order cultivator." One soldier whispered.

"It’s true. I saw him with my own eyes before."

"Hmph! Then why are we following a mere Fifth Order cultivator into what will probably be the biggest battle of our entire lives?" Another soldier quietly complained.

"Isn’t that the same as throwing away our lives?" The soldier who spoke was already several hundred years old and possessed considerable battlefield experience. Because of that experience, he placed great importance on the personal strength of whoever commanded an army. In his eyes, someone at Fifth Order simply did not possess enough strength to stand at the top of an army containing millions of cultivators.

"Idiot! Your information is outdated." Another soldier immediately corrected him.

"His Highness successfully passed his Heavenly Tribulation earlier today. He is now a Beginner Sixth Order cultivator."

Although news of Aditya’s successful breakthrough had already spread throughout the allied army, millions of soldiers had gathered from different regions and noble territories. Naturally, there were still some who had only recently arrived and had yet to hear the news.

"But honestly, I expected the Supreme Commander of the entire allied army to be either Sir Malakor Harrington or His Majesty Boris." Another soldier joined the conversation.

Many soldiers quietly agreed with those words. Either man would have been an obvious choice.

Despite both Boris and Malakor Harrington keeping relatively low profiles during the last few decades, their reputations had never truly disappeared. Their names alone carried enormous weight throughout the Celestial Dragon Empire. Both had lived for countless years, experienced numerous battles, and possessed strength and experience that very few people could question.

If either Boris or Malakor Harrington had taken the position of Supreme Commander, many soldiers believed they would have felt considerably safer entering this war. A single speech from either legendary figure could have raised the morale of the entire allied army.

Instead, the position had been given to the exiled Crown Prince. When some of the nobles originally attempted to support Boris or Malakor Harrington for the position, both men firmly rejected the idea. Their reasoning had been very simple. This was a battle belonging to the newer generation.

The old generation had already ruled, fought, and shaped the Celestial Dragon Empire for long enough. It was time for those who would inherit the future of the Empire to decide what that future would look like.

More importantly, after everything they had personally witnessed, neither Boris nor Malakor Harrington had the slightest doubt about their grandson’s ability to command this army.

Aditya was not some inexperienced Crown Prince who had spent his entire life safely inside an Imperial Palace.

He was a self-made Emperor. He had built the Istarin Empire with his own hands, commanded armies through countless battles, conquered enemies far stronger than himself, and risen to become the King of All Dragons.

Both old men firmly believed that their grandson was more than capable of leading millions of soldiers into this war. In fact, Boris and Malakor had a strong feeling that Aditya’s contribution toward their eventual victory would surpass even their own expectations.

Eventually, the final noble army moved into position. Millions of soldiers now stood across the enormous open land in their respective rectangular formations. Thousands of banners belonging to different noble houses fluttered above the army, while commanders stood proudly at the front of their troops.

The scattered whispers gradually disappeared. Within moments, an army consisting of millions of cultivators had fallen into near-complete silence.

Because the man everyone had been waiting for had finally made his appearance. The Supreme Commander of the Anti-Emperor Faction had arrived.

Aditya slowly flew into the air after making his appearance. He stopped around ten meters above the city walls. He positioned himself high enough that the millions of soldiers gathered outside Axel City could clearly see him.

Standing on top of the city walls behind him was his entire family. Boris, Malakor Harrington, Wahid and his wives, along with the others, silently watched Aditya’s back. Spencer and Nathan stood beside Wahid, while the rest of Aditya’s loved ones remained nearby.

Aditya did not immediately speak. For the first five seconds, he simply looked at the enormous army before him.

His gaze slowly moved across the countless rectangular formations stretching across the land. Thousands of noble banners fluttered above millions of soldiers. Aditya recognised a few familiar faces among the commanders and noble representatives, but the overwhelming majority of the soldiers gathered here were complete strangers to him.

More importantly, most of them had never seen him before either. For millions of soldiers, this was their first time seeing the man they had been ordered to follow into the greatest battle of their lives.

Aditya continued staring at them without showing the slightest nervousness or hesitation. Then, he slowly stopped suppressing his cultivation. His Beginner Sixth Order aura began spreading outward from his body.

Aditya had no intention of hiding his cultivation right now. This was his first meeting with the millions of soldiers he was about to command. First impressions mattered, especially in a world where personal strength carried tremendous importance.

Once his presence had completely settled over the enormous gathering, Aditya finally prepared to speak.

He had not written a speech. Nor had he memorised some carefully prepared words. In fact, until this very moment, Aditya had not even decided exactly what he wanted to say. Instead, he decided to speak whatever was in his heart.

Millions of people had gathered here today to fight under his command. They were willing to step onto the battlefield, put their lives on the line, and possibly die for the cause that he represented. The least amount of respect Aditya could give these soldiers was to speak honestly rather than feed them some carefully prepared speech filled with empty promises.

"My name is Aditya." His voice spread across the enormous gathering.

"Most of you know me as the exiled Crown Prince of the Celestial Dragon Empire. Almost five years ago, I was exiled from my own homeland by my biological parents." Aditya paused briefly before continuing.

"For nearly five years, I believed that decision was truly theirs. But because of a series of events, I eventually discovered the truth. My parents were being controlled. Their actions were influenced by forces connected to my cousin, the very man who wanted the Imperial Throne for himself."

Aditya’s expression remained calm as he looked across the millions of soldiers. "Today, all of us stand here preparing for war. But I want to make one thing very clear before any of you step onto that battlefield."

"This war is not simply about my personal cause."

"It is not merely about my desire to reclaim something that was taken away from me. And it certainly is not because I desperately want to become the Emperor of the Celestial Dragon Empire."

A faint smile appeared on Aditya’s face. "Truthfully, I have very little interest in becoming Emperor."

Some of the soldiers immediately looked surprised. "I am already the Emperor of an Empire within the Six Continents, and I am more than satisfied with that position."

Aditya’s smile became slightly more amused. "Honestly speaking, becoming the Emperor of two different Empires sounds like an enormous amount of extra work for both me and my Prime Minister."

Standing on the city wall behind him, Spencer immediately gave a wry smile. Of course His Majesty somehow found a way to drag him into this.

The faint amusement on Aditya’s face disappeared the very next second. His expression hardened as he seriously looked at the millions of soldiers standing before him.

"This is a war for our own future."

"My cousin, Ren, is working with a Mysterious Organisation whose ultimate goal is something so sinister that, if they succeed, all of us could lose everything."

Aditya paused for a moment, allowing those words to settle before continuing.

"And when I say this, I am not exaggerating. Some of you may think that I am deliberately trying to frighten you or saying these things simply to motivate you before the battle. But I have no reason to stand here and lie to millions of you."

"There is evidence. The nobles and factions standing with me today did not simply wake up one morning and decide to rebel against the Emperor. They investigated. They questioned. They saw the evidence for themselves. And after learning the truth, they chose to stand here with us." Aditya mixed a little bit of a lie into his speech. There was no harm in doing this for the greater good.

Aditya was good with his words as he was a politician in his past life.
