Aditya, struck by Divine Dragon Slaying Poison, transformed into his massive Divine Crimson Dragon form and unleashed Dragon Monarch's Domain amid crimson lightning. He pierced the weakening Black Dragon, slaying it and uncovering Leo's test on the Istarin Empire's defenses using divine blood poison. Teleporting to the laboratory with Lilith, Julia, and Riya, a potion failed to halt the poison, leaving him fully paralyzed and bleeding purple as death loomed.

"Why is the potion not working?" The girls couldn't comprehend why the elixir brewed from two incredibly scarce herbs possessing tremendous healing effects failed to heal him. This potion held such immense power that it could restore anyone to peak condition straight from the edge of death.

Riya and Julia stood as the most stunned among them. After all, they knew the potency of those healing potions better than anyone. Still, the mixture displayed no signs of taking effect.

"Did we do something wrong?" Even Riya's voice carried uncertainty.

"I don’t know," Julia responded softly.

Despite being the goddess of alchemy, crafting a counter to an unknown poison in under three minutes proved nearly impossible. Her shock had rattled her so deeply that her thoughts refused to flow clearly. Normal reasoning eluded her.

’Is there nothing I can do?’ Facing the possibility of failing her beloved, tears welled in her reddened eyes, pushing her close to breakdown.

Riya fared no better, her own eyes rimmed in red.

Witnessing their despair, Lilith nearly surrendered too. If the goddess of nature and the goddess of alchemy combined couldn't help, what chance did she have?

Yet gazing at his paling face, with the bedsheet now drenched in his blood, resolve hardened within her.

She refused to let this end. ’No! You can’t die like this. I won’t allow it.’

Her very mind, soul, and heart rejected such a fate outright.

"Poison!!!"

"Divine blood!"

"Rin’s divine blood!"

In that instant, a spark of hope ignited within her.

Hurriedly, she spun toward Julia and Riya.

"What if...." She drew a deep breath to steady her trembling voice, battling nerves and terror.

"What if we blend Rin’s divine blood into the potion and give it to him?"

Julia and the elven princess shared a glance. Slim as the odds were, it stood as their sole viable option now.

"Where is Rin?" Julia inquired. She hadn't spotted Rin since their morning meal together.

"She’s somewhere in the Dragon Palace. I’ll fetch her in under a minute." Fortunately, Rin remained inside the Dragon Palace. Before departing the Floating Island, Lilith had seen her strolling alongside Lara and Clara.

Lilith stole one final glance at Aditya before vanishing. Never had she dashed so swiftly; her legs propelled her ahead of any thought.

In fewer than 10 seconds, she located Rin at the Floating Island's edge, still scanning for Aditya. Lara and Clara stood with her, all three faces etched with deep worry. They'd witnessed the Black Dragon's massive claw strike him.

She wasn't by herself.

Other girls accompanied her.

But Lilith ignored them all. Right then, she needed only Rin.

"Come with me."

Before Rin could respond, Lilith seized her arm and pulled her forcefully back to the laboratory, where the others waited in agony.

Rin felt utterly bewildered until her eyes fell on Aditya, twisting her features in horror. As she lunged to embrace him, the others held her back.

"This isn’t the time." Riya spoke gently.

"He is dying."

"How did this happen?" Rin's voice quivered.

"Now isn’t the time to explain." Julia's tone turned icy. Time was too precious for details. Any lengthy account might end with Aditya's death before Rin grasped the peril.

"Give us a few drops of your divine blood. This is the only way he can survive this now." Without hesitation, the Female Divine Dragon drew a knife and slashed deeply across her left wrist.

"Take as much of my divine blood as you need. But Aditya must live."

Julia snatched a glass tube and collected her blood. Composure returning, she now focused on forging the antidote.

"Normally, I would test ratios to blend her blood perfectly with the potion for an antidote. But time won't allow it." Instead, she added 5 drops of the blood to the potion, which already contained 5 drops of Dragon Grass extract, 5 drops of Nine-Leaf Spirit Orchid, and traces of other rare healing herbs.

A small flame flickered to life in Julia's left palm, warming the potion delicately. She raised the heat until it bubbled just right.

"What are you doing?" Lilith teetered on the edge of impatience, deeming it wasteful.

Rin had learned Aditya had under 45 seconds left. Tension gripped her fiercely, her frame shuddering, sweat beading on her skin.

"The potion's density resists simple mixing with Divine Dragon blood drops. To fuse properties seamlessly, it requires boiling heat."

Stress weighed heavily on Julia, heavier than any moment before.

This ranked as her life's pinnacle of pressure. His survival hinged on her now; failure meant his end. Doubt crept in about the new mixture's success, but she buried it deep.

For the first time, uncertainty plagued her confidence. Yet she stayed silent, guarding everyone's fragile hope. As First Lady, she chose boldness now, consequences be damned.

Moments ticked by in tense quiet. Julia dripped in one drop at a time, stirring briefly before the next.

"How much longer do you need?" Riya asked, eyes fixed on Aditya.

His state deteriorated rapidly. Even his stare grew hazy, consciousness slipping away.

"30 seconds."

"Why is it taking that long?" Rin pleaded desperately.

"Well, this is the minimum time needed for the potion to be ready. It cannot be rushed; otherwise, this potion will be considered imperfect, and the effect might not be as good as a perfect and finished antidote."

"If it takes 30 seconds, he will be left with just less than 15 seconds. Is it enough for the antidote to take effect?"

Julia kept her gaze locked on the task, absorbing every word despite her focus.

"15 seconds will be more than enough."

In his final moments, Aditya pondered the life he'd built since arriving in this world.

Over two years had passed since his arrival.

In that brief span, his feats shamed 99.99999% of Emperors. He stood among this world's supreme rulers.

’My only regret is not leaving a safer world for my family.’ The Organisation loomed as a colossal danger.

’Once I am dead, surely they will come for the girls.’

’In the long term, the Istarin Empire will collapse. The fate of everyone around me will change.’

By now, Aditya caught fragments of their voices but saw nothing through purple blood tears streaming from his eyes.

『Ding! Time until the Host dies 18 seconds』

Here, he shed his titles of Monarch and Dragon King. Regret centered on his family's uncertain future.

Apologies filled him; he'd wished to achieve more for them.

『Ding! Time until the Host dies 17 seconds』

’At the very least, I should have created safe escape plans for everyone so that even after my death, everyone can safely live their lives.’

『Ding! Time until the Host dies 16 seconds』

"It’s done!!!" Riya lifted his head gently with one palm at the nape. Her other hand parted his lips.

Julia carefully poured the fresh antidote down his throat, watching tensely as it slid to his stomach.

『Ding! You have taken the Antidote.』

『Ding! It will take 11 seconds for the antidote to stop the Poison’s spread.』
