Ye Xiao, an orphaned outer disciple raised in the Silver Moon Sect, had his dantian shattered by Grand Elder disciple Zhou Yan while protecting the medicine garden. Framed for the destruction despite his explanations, the sect elders and leader expelled him mercilessly, ignoring his years of service. Vowing revenge, he rejected their silver coins and departed amid mocking disciples, heading toward the Black Cloud Forest with hatred in his heart.

In this realm, power reigns supreme. The strong dominate as the weak cower in terror. Cultivators pursue strength through martial arts practice. The Cultivation path divides into numerous major realms, each further split into nine minor stages.

The Silver Moon Sect ranked among the lesser factions in the Azure Dragon Country amid countless sects. Disciples here fell into categories like outer court disciples, inner court disciples, and core disciples.

Direct disciples were those taken under the wing of an elder or the sect leader.

Ye Xiao had served as a direct disciple under the Fifth Elder before his demise. Following that tragedy, Ye Xiao got demoted to outer court disciple status and assigned to tend herbs in the medicine garden.

He headed towards the Black Cloud Forest, knowing that beyond it lay Lin Star City.

"Zhou Yan, what do you want?" Ye Xiao demanded.

"Hehe, what I want? Just some fun thrashing you," Zhou Yan sneered, then lunged at Ye Xiao with a fierce palm strike.

"Hundred Needle Palm!"

"Aah!!"

A young man's agonized scream echoed through the forest.

Ye Xiao failed to evade the palm strike for two key reasons.

First, prior injuries had already ravaged him, shattering his dantian.

Second, Zhou Yan moved with blinding speed, denying any chance to dodge.

"Hundred Needle Palm!" Zhou Yan struck Ye Xiao's chest once more.

Hundreds of needles seemed to pierce into Ye Xiao's chest. Already gravely wounded, the assault deepened his injuries further.

"Hehe, trash, how does it feel getting pummeled?" Zhou Yan taunted the youth sprawled on the ground.

"Senior Brother Zhou, let's finish him off," urged a companion beside Zhou Yan.

"No, not yet. I'll torment him bit by bit, make him suffer as his limbs tear away. Hahaha!"

"Senior Brother's wise," agreed another disciple from Zhou Yan's group, slamming a kick into Ye Xiao's abdomen.

"Aah!!"

Ye Xiao hurtled through the air, spewing a massive gush of blood.

"Zhou Yan, kill me now! If I survive by some miracle, I'll end you!" Ye Xiao roared, refusing to perish there.

Desperate thoughts of escape filled his mind. He bolted in one direction, hoping to stumble upon salvation against Zhou Yan and his cronies.

"Hehe, trash, where do you think you're fleeing?" Zhou Yan pursued relentlessly.

Ye Xiao halted abruptly—a vast ravine yawned before him atop the cliff edge.

"Nowhere left to run from me, huh? Ah, a ravine—that's why you froze in your tracks."

"You dared flee? Die now!" With those words, Zhou Yan booted him off the edge. Ye Xiao plummeted into the abyss.

"You!?"

Ye Xiao glared at Zhou Yan, words forming on his lips, but darkness clouded his sight as consciousness slipped away.

"Bang!"

Unconscious, Ye Xiao crashed into a dense carpet of pitch-black grass towering nearly five meters high. Blood poured from his wounds.

Dark crimson blood oozed from Ye Xiao's heart, splashing onto the inky grass below.

The grass shifted hue instantly, staining blood-red.

Gasping his final breaths, an astonishing transformation occurred.

A dark gleam flickered across the grass. Earlier droplets of blood vanished into a mysterious black orb.

"Buzz!"

Sated with fresh blood, the black orb quivered violently.

Moments passed, and its shade morphed from ebony to vibrant multicolors.

Suddenly, radiant multicolored beams erupted outward. The now-prismatic orb surged into Ye Xiao's heart like a living entity.

Upon entering his heart, multicolored energy burst from the orb, merging seamlessly into Ye Xiao's form. His body promptly glowed with dazzling multicolored radiance.

This multicolored light carried potent vital energy, mending Ye Xiao's shattered meridians.

Once meridians healed, the light coursed through his bloodstream along the meridians, then refined his bones and marrow.

With bones and marrow enhanced, it flowed into his dantian. Dense vital energy infused it, restoring the ruined core.

Meridians toughened beyond their former state. Bones and marrow purified to perfection, dantian fully reborn.

Tasks complete, the multicolored light faded from his body as though it never existed. The heart's orb reverted to jet-black.

Pitch-black filth erupted from Ye Xiao's pores—the body's impurities purged away.

.....

Gradually, Ye Xiao stirred back to awareness.

"I... I'm alive!"

"Haha, I'm alive! I didn't die—I'm still here," Ye Xiao burst into loud laughter.

"Look at this—my dantian, it's been repaired! Hahahaha, I can cultivate again now. Just you wait, Zhou Yan, Grand Elder, Sect Leader. One day, I, Ye Xiao, will return and exact my revenge!"

"But how? How was my dantian fixed, and my meridians—they're all healed, even far stronger than before!"

With his spiritual sense, Ye Xiao scanned the inside of his body. All of a sudden, he spotted something inside his heart.

"Aiya! What's this in my heart? A ball? No, it seems like a pearl, and what's that image engraved on it?"

"An image of the galaxy! Ah! No clue right now—let it sit for the moment. But what on earth is this pearl? Could it have mended my dantian and meridians? If that's the case, it must be an incredible treasure!"
