Divine God Against The Heavens Chapter 3 Ch 3: Heavenly Pearl

As Ye Xiao probed the pearl with his spirit energy, his vision abruptly blurred. Once clarity returned, he discovered himself transported to a different realm.
Suddenly, Ye Xiao found himself standing at the heart of a stunning grassland.
A lush forest, majestic mountains, a massive river, vast grassy plains ringed by exquisite flowers, and a pathway of flawless jade extending in four directions surrounded the area.
Gazing at the jade pathways diverging in four ways, he noted the left one snaking toward the mountains and river.
The pathway veering right plunged into the thick forest.
From his position, the backward and forward jade paths remained hidden, their destinations unknown.
Choosing the straight-ahead jade path, he began strolling along it, savoring the magnificent scenery unfolding before him.
"What is going on? Where exactly am I?" Ye Xiao pondered deeply.
Upon awakening in total darkness where nothing was visible, he soon realized he survived, his meridians and dantian fully restored. A mysterious pearl now nestled in his heart, engraved with a galaxy-like image. Probing it with spirit energy had inexplicably brought him to this bizarre realm.
As he mulled over his situation, a snippet of knowledge suddenly emerged within his mind.
"Heavenly Pearl"
"Heavenly Pearl, what is this? Is this the name of the pearl inside my heart?"
"Is this the world inside the Heavenly Pearl? How did I enter, and how do I leave?"
These questions flooded his thoughts upon learning the pearl's name. He pressed on along the jade path for two to three hours until a Nine Story Pagoda appeared at the road's terminus.
Approaching the Nine Story Pagoda, he noticed a stone pillar about one meter tall positioned left of the gate. Atop it sat a handprint carving.
Examining the handprint, he saw its height, length, and thickness perfectly matched his own hand.
"Do I need to place my hand on this handprint?"
After considering it, he laid his hand over the carving. Immediately, a vast influx of information poured into his mind, followed by a voice echoing within.
"Inheritor of the Heavenly Pearl, destined to rule over the heavens. As the inheritor of the Heavenly Pearl, from today onward, shape your destiny through your hard work. You must never bow to anyone. You own yourself and your destiny. Remember, no one has the right to look down on you—no one, not even the heavens."
"No one has the right to look down on me, not even the heavens." Ye Xiao murmured these words, his blood surging with fervor, eyes igniting as he shouted toward the sky, "Yes, I, Ye Xiao, own my destiny and myself. No one has the right to look down on me, and no one can block my path to the pinnacle of martial arts."
"If devils block my path, I will slice the devils into a thousand pieces. If gods block my path, I will slay the gods. If the heavens block my path, then I, Ye Xiao, will shatter the heavens."
Composing himself afterward, he suddenly heard the door grinding open.
"Churrr! Churrr!"
He glanced at the door and headed toward it. Reaching the entrance of the Nine Story Pagoda, he halted and peered inside, finding only impenetrable darkness.
"Should I go in or not?"
He contemplated briefly, then decided.
"Forget it. Since I am the inheritor of the Heavenly Pearl, I will explore it."
Stepping forward, he crossed the threshold into the first floor of the Nine Story Pagoda. A sudden flash of light made him squeeze his eyes shut upon entry.
A few breaths later, he reopened his eyes and saw the floor empty save for a single cauldron, encircled by a soaring dragon.
Ye Xiao approached the cauldron cautiously, but just before contact, another wave of information exploded in his mind.
From this knowledge, he learned the first floor of the Nine Story Pagoda featured accelerated time flow versus the outside—three days here equaled one day there, a 3:1 ratio.
Overjoyed by this discovery, he realized the tower enabled cultivation three times faster than the external world, with spirit energy far denser within.
From the details he obtained in this place, Ye Xiao discovered that the cauldron standing in the center of the floor held three distinct kinds of memories, which he could fully claim as his very own.
With haste, he flung open the cauldron's lid and spotted three vibrant lights glowing within separate barriers.
Thanks to the knowledge he had just acquired, he understood that the red-hued radiant light, enclosed by a barrier, contained the alchemy memories of an Ancient Pill God; the blue-hued radiant light, also shielded by a barrier, held the Formation memories from an Ancient Formation God; and finally, the purple-hued radiant light, protected by its own barrier, preserved the weapon refining memories of an Ancient God of weapon refinement.
Besides those memories from the Ancient Gods, one additional item floated there—a small orb of light drifting inside the dragon cauldron's space.
