Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100 Chapter 2064 Reacging 1000 bronze marks

Max could hear the whispers moving through the crowd, but he didn't pay them much attention. Instead, his eyes returned to the bronze mark on his wrist. Between the marks he had collected outside Bloodstone City and the three hundred Bronze Marks he had just won from Greyjin, his total had climbed to roughly six hundred.
That meant he still needed about four hundred more.
As soon as this thought crossed his mind, Max slowly turned to look at Anna.
Anna noticed his gaze almost at once. She stared back at him in silence for a moment, and then her expression became extremely helpless, as though she already knew exactly what he was thinking.
"Don't look at me like that," Anna said. "I haven't forgotten our bet."
Max gave her a faint smile. "I didn't say anything."
"You didn't have to," Anna replied as she narrowed her eyes at him. "Your face is saying plenty."
Revona couldn't help smiling from the side. Damian looked away with a calm expression, but the slight curve of his lips showed that he was amused. Daniel also watched quietly, clearly curious to see how Anna would settle the bet she had made so casually before Max entered the Battle Space.
Anna sighed and held out her hand toward Max.
Max tilted his head a little. For a moment, he thought she wanted to shake hands, so he reached out and shook it.
Anna froze. Damian's lips twitched, and Revona turned her face away as she struggled not to laugh.
Anna slowly looked down at their joined hands. Then she raised her eyes and stared at Max as if she were silently asking whether he was being serious.
"I wanted you to hold out your mark," she said.
Max paused. Then he calmly let go of her hand and raised his wrist instead. "Then you should have said so."
Anna took a deep breath. "I thought it was obvious."
"It wasn't," Max replied seriously.
Revona finally let out a soft laugh.
Anna ignored her and brought her own wrist close to Max's bronze mark. Unlike his, the symbol on Anna's wrist wasn't bronze. It glowed with a soft golden light and carried a deeper, heavier presence.
When the two marks came near each other, faint threads of light rose between them, and the rules of the Godslayer's Pilgrimage seemed to stir quietly around their wrists.
Max's eyes shifted slightly.
Anna noticed where he was looking and explained, "I don't carry Bronze Marks anymore. I only have Gold Marks now."
Max frowned a little. "Then how are you going to give me Bronze Marks?"
"That part is easy," Anna said. "The mark system lets you break higher-grade marks down so you can transfer lower-grade ones. Even though I only have Gold Marks, I can still send Bronze Marks to someone else."
While she spoke, the golden light on her wrist flickered. A thin stream of light separated from her Gold Mark and changed color as it drifted toward Max. The golden glow turned bronze in midair before flowing into the mark on Max's wrist, which brightened immediately as its number began to rise.
The count went from six hundred to seven hundred, then to eight hundred and nine hundred, until it finally reached one thousand and stopped.
Four hundred Bronze Marks had been transferred.
As Max looked at the number inside his mark, he felt a slight change in its aura. The mark hadn't transformed yet, but he could sense that it had reached the threshold needed to condense into a Gold Mark.
The bronze symbol was brighter than before, and the sword inside the circle looked sharper, as if the mark itself had become more complete.
Max also noticed something else. Once the number reached the threshold of one thousand, it didn't increase any further. This meant that a person couldn't hold more than one thousand Bronze Marks, because one thousand was the limit.
Anna pulled her hand back. "There you go. That's four hundred Bronze Marks, just like I promised."
Max looked at her golden mark again. "How many Gold Marks did that cost you?"
"Two hundred," Anna answered casually.
For the first time, Max's expression changed a little. Damian and Revona also turned to look at her at the same moment.
"It cost you two hundred Gold Marks?" Damian asked.
Anna nodded. "Yes. When you transfer downward, one Gold Mark only turns into two Bronze Marks."
For a moment, none of the three newcomers said anything.
Revona's brows drew together. "But you need one thousand Bronze Marks to condense a single Gold Mark."
"That's right," Anna said.
Damian's expression turned strange. "So going the other way, one Gold Mark is only worth two Bronze Marks?"
Anna nodded again. "Exactly."
Max looked at the bronze mark on his wrist and then back at Anna's golden one.
The conversion rate was absurd. Rising from Bronze to Gold required one thousand Bronze Marks, yet breaking a Gold Mark down and sending it as Bronze Marks only produced two. The gap was so extreme that it almost seemed unreasonable.
Anna saw the looks on their faces and smiled faintly. "Now you know why nobody casually breaks higher-grade marks into lower ones. The Godslayer's Pilgrimage rewards moving up, but it punishes moving back down. Once your marks are condensed into a higher grade, what they represent changes. A Gold Mark isn't just a stack of Bronze Marks. It stands for authority, status, and recognition. If you try to turn it back into something for ordinary lower-grade use, its value becomes awful."
Revona frowned. "That's far too harsh."
"It is," Anna agreed. "But that's how this place works. The mark system forces everyone to make careful choices. If you keep Bronze Marks, you can spend them more freely, but you stay at the lowest grade. If you condense them into a Gold Mark, your status goes up and certain opportunities open to you. But if you need Bronze Marks again later, converting downward will cost you a huge amount."
Damian's eyes turned thoughtful. "So the system pushes people to climb, but it makes going back almost pointless."
"That's exactly it," Anna said. "So don't rush to condense your Bronze Marks unless you're sure you're ready. Reaching one thousand gives you the right to become a Gold Mark holder, but you don't have to do it right away."
